Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 18th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 35th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Good god I'm bored!
Nowt happening.
What the fuck is wrong with me?!?

ZylaB · 22/12/2014 13:48

Nothing wrong with you min Robyn's just comfy!

cookielove · 22/12/2014 13:56

min when I went into early labour I was put on a drip for 48 hrs and left on my back the entire time as strapped to monitors. Only allowed to go to the loo. I had midwives come and check me every hr. Even through the night! So blimming boring! Was on my phone almost the whole time. So just think it could be worse Grin

kato I think girl!

RPopz · 22/12/2014 14:00

Will they not let you go home to wait Min? I know it's shit, but try and stay positive and relaxed... and oooooopen Grin Hugs x

RPopz · 22/12/2014 14:02

Nothing wrong with you either... apart from thinking it'd be a really good idea to grow a massive baby for 9 long months and then attempt to push it out of your fanoir.... For the privilege of being kept awake for the next 5 years!!

Which I think we are ALL guilty of Wink

cookielove · 22/12/2014 14:08

Oh yes nothing wrong with you either Cake

willywallace · 22/12/2014 14:54

You have to stay in once they've started induction Popz. Does that mean you've skipped the pessary stage though Min? Good news if so.

Lauren, can't believe he phoned to ask you that - hilarious. I am sure he'll realise what a plonker he was being once sober!

I have totally overdone it today so am now on the couch under a blanket. Grin

Minion · 22/12/2014 15:12

I've had 2mg of the gel, due some more in 20-40 mins, then another 6 hrs of waiting, hoping and twiddling thumbs. Then if nothing happens, they'll keep me in and give me drip in morning, unfortunately that means no lush water birth.
Thoroughly fucked off!

TheBooMonster · 22/12/2014 15:19

thanks for the advice lil I shall get DH to dig out the house insurance details.

oh min sorry you're not having any luck with the gel, why did they give you that rather than the pessary? They gave me a pessary with DD and it was really effective... at this rate minimin will come on xmas day!

Pisghetti · 22/12/2014 15:27

Can you get up and about Min? Might help to get gravity on your side and relieve the boredom a bit. Just remembered I saw the sidestepping thing on OBEM a while back. Can't remember if it worked or not? Well she had a baby by the end of the programme at least but then they all do Wink

Think I saw the sideways upstairs thing in a book too pis so you're not losing the plot Grin

That is bloody crappy Min Sad

willywallace · 22/12/2014 15:39

Six hours is a long time Min - may happen by then. Does it hurt? Pretty sure I went from pessary to drip last time but hated the pessary. Any chance of getting some rest?

Minion · 22/12/2014 15:43

Luckily I'm the only one on the ward at the mo, so it's relatively quiet.
She has moved, as Everytime I stand up I have the desperate need to pee, which hasn't happened before.
I knew I was getting it too easy.

Sorry for the negativity

Leela5 · 22/12/2014 15:57

Can you move about min? Do some bouncing or something?

If she's born on Christmas Day will you name her Mary instead? Or something more modern like Olive (the other reindeer)?

willywallace · 22/12/2014 15:59

Isn't Robyn quite a christmassy name already?
Do you have an ipad or anything with films downloaded?

Pisghetti · 22/12/2014 16:24

Sounds like a move in the right direction Min i.e. down!

Would it be madness to consider a trip to Toys R Us this evening? I'm thinking of buying another lego set for DS and a couple of stocking fillers.... Need to go home first though to drink gallons of gaviscon!

I'm done with the office now until next year! Printed off a load of reading for tomorrow (wfh) which should keep me busy and then I am done with work altogether for the year! Only seven more Monday mornings until mat leave Shock

On the monitor now, probably need another dose of gel.
They can give me 3, tops. Then if nothing happens we talk drip or section

RPopz · 22/12/2014 16:41

Tough choice. Fingers crossed for the gel doing its stuff asap. Chin up lady x

Minion · 22/12/2014 16:42

Weirdly, id rather a section.

The thought of forceps and ventouse and tearing scares me more than being sliced and diced.
I need to figure out how this tv works tho.

JuniDD · 22/12/2014 17:00

Hi min I was exactly the same and had to have a little fight about EMCS after 30 hours of labour so good you can think about it all relatively calmly. I hope it all works out s you'd prefer, lots of love and luck. You'll have Robyn with you so soon! xx

RPopz · 22/12/2014 17:01

No I get that totally. You could have the drip and end up with emcs anyway... At least an elective would be calm and not drawn out. But hopefully you won't need to make the choice!

It's not one of those ones you have to put cash in is it??

willywallace · 22/12/2014 17:06

I promise you won't be scared at the time Min. Great they would offer section though. Here they send you home if induction doesn't work and try again in a few days.

I am going to toy shop in a bit Pis. Probably crazy but needs must.

Leela5 · 22/12/2014 17:53

Oh yes! Robyn is Christmassy of course! (I was only joking about Mary and olive - hopefully you all know that already)

Pis - yes, you are mad.

I've finished work for Christmas! Woohoo !

Leela5 · 22/12/2014 17:54

Min that's good they are considering CS. I really hope your baby girl makes an appearance soon xx

Minion · 22/12/2014 18:10

Fuck me sideways!
Second lot of gel is giving me the worst period pains ever!
With any luck it means we're going in the right direction!
Woohoo
I'm on the ball bouncing for England!
