Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 18th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 35th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Reflux dulce, bless you, its vile. I have it even when not pg so you have my sympathies x
Right im going to watch the hobbit. 3 hours of that and I'm sure my uterus week be begging to have an exit strategy.

willywallace · 21/12/2014 09:52

Great idea Min, surely no baby could sit through that.

lildottie · 21/12/2014 10:05

boo I was signed off with stress, work handled it really badly when I went back and made it worse, when I was due to go back again they told me at back to work meeting I was going to face disciplinary so Dr signed me off again and I raised a grievance. basically got forced out of my job and stabbed in the back by my colleagues who were my "friends". I was in a right state for months. luckily dh could afford to support us so I took 6months off and started my business. point is I understand what ur up against. I'd recommend seeing if your home insurance has legal cover you can use and see what they recommend you do, that's what I did and it was great to have someone to talk to with no cost.

min hope the film bores her out!

hi to everyone else. passes out more Brew and Biscuit and Cake

Minion · 21/12/2014 10:08

Yep! See I loved LOTR trilogy, but I'm a bit meh about the hobbit ones. But I've seen the others at the cinema and feel this may be at radiation which I need to finish.

Minion · 21/12/2014 10:09

Tradition,,,

willywallace · 21/12/2014 10:22

I haven't seen any Hobbit films. Have seen LOTR but only liked one of them. Not really into fantasy stuff.

Lil that's awful but amazing you turned it into a positive by starting up by yourself. That takes a lot of guts.

DulcetMoans · 21/12/2014 10:51

Great idea min! I saw it last weekend, it's alright. You got to see it through though and see it at the cinema. Grab some popcorn!

That sounds awful lil, you're better off out of it.

KatoPotato · 21/12/2014 11:11

Lots of looooong battles in hobbit 3! We went to a 10pm showing on Friday and I did fall asleep a few times!!

DulcetMoans · 21/12/2014 13:20

Oh yeah, it's totally dragged out but I like watching all the different animals they ride in on!

What are you all doing?! Quiet today and I'm avoiding my wrapping.

willywallace · 21/12/2014 14:05

We have visitors coming so I have been doing a really half-arsed attempt at tidying. Am currently eating soup - as if that is going to make the bathroom look acceptable.

laurenamium · 21/12/2014 14:11

Grin At wil eating soup to make the bathroom clean! I'm also on with cleaning the house. Not because anyone is coming round though- just because its a pig Sty and I want it clean/ tidy for Christmas even though I won't be in it

I've never seen a single hobbit or lord of the rings! I struggle to sit through films as I fidget so don't tend to go to the cinemas.

My god daughter is in hospital with bronchitis Sad she's only 2 months old and has deteriorated over the last 12 hours so has an iv and is in an air box thing. Feel really helpless but apart from keeping my friend company via text whilst she's in the hospital there's nothing I can do (I've offered everything I can think of).

Is everyone set for Christmas?

Minion · 21/12/2014 16:01

Well the hobbit didn't even shift her. Major twinges tho!
Suppose I ought to be thankful she knows her own mind I guess..
Yeah I'll keep telling myself that eh!
Making gingerbread cookies for the hospital visit. May as well face up to it.
Hope you're all having a fab Sunday! X

teejayem · 21/12/2014 17:14

Finally finished all wrapping. Mr tee has man flu and my god he's making a fuss. I have lost all patience and sympathy with the constant sniffing and sighing and rustling of frigging lemsip, and the last two nights he's been up and down and making honey and lemon at 4am and aaaaaaargh! Even his sister rang him and told him to man the fuck up.really difficult to not be a bit irked by his uselessness esp this week when I could really do with some help (considering it's his family we're hosting) - told him I need help collecting the turkey early weds morning as its a 7kg monster and he just sighed and coughed a bit. Hmm. I've also seemingly picked up a sore throat and I am crossing everything that he hasn't transmitted his horrid germs to me.

I also actually want him to go to work tomorrow because I have the xmas food delivery arriving (bar Turkey) and I don't want him to see it arrive otherwise I'm going to get told off for buying too much (I have). Blush

I sound a bit whiny, but I've just eaten a party tub of twiglets and about forty rolos. All is well!

Fleurchamp · 21/12/2014 18:13

I have packed DH off to a Christmas party without me Hmm (v unusual).

I am so damn tired and cold.

Anyone know if feeling cold is a sign of anaemia? My lips were blue from the cold earlier Sad

Pisghetti · 21/12/2014 18:21

Evening viroids. I'm tucking into some roast potatoes and wedges tossed with Stilton. Kindly using up some of DP's leftovers. I left him at the airport earlier and won't see him until next year! Tonight I shall mostly be feeling sorry for myself. In other news, a friend of mine had a baby yesterday so hoping to get some newborn snuggles soon Smile

teejayem · 21/12/2014 18:25

pis that sounds delish! Hope you're okay, where's he off to?

laurenamium · 21/12/2014 18:34

Oh pis where's he going? Will you be spending Christmas with family? I now feel bad for missing DP- he will be back tomorrow! Confused Next year seems like such a long time even though it is only a few weeks Grin

Pisghetti · 21/12/2014 18:42

He's heading to the other side of the world! Giving some much needed family support so I can't be too whingy. I don't want to be too specific as it is such a difficult situation Confused It is better he does it now really before baby gets here.

Dinner was mighty tasty - cheese always helps! J'adore le fromage. Just found some green and blacks in the cupboard. It's not open but I'm claiming it as a legit leftover Grin just need to clean up after myself then I'm heading back to my own house! I hope someone has cleaned that up while I've been gone Hmm

laurenamium · 21/12/2014 18:50

Aw man Sad like you say though it is good its happening now and not when you have a baby to be on your own with! Still doesn't make it less rubbish though!

DD is in bed, so last lot of wrapping tonight and a takeaway then an early night here. It sounds wild outside!

Minion · 21/12/2014 19:11

Oh dear! I've deffo seen that green and blacks open somewhere.
You'd be condemning it to the waste pile of you didn't finish it off, id say!
Oh bless you, on your own (tho, what id give...)

Had to ring Mw earlier. Went for a pee about ten mins after my last one, thought I'd have a jobbie whilst there, and pee just kept going and going.
Want sure if it was my waters or not.
Put a pad in and ring in an hour was the advice.
Turns out it was just a pee worthy of a racehorse...
Blush

willywallace · 21/12/2014 19:12

Lauren that is so sad about your god daughter. I really hope she's ok. Maybe take a wee box of supplies to the hospital to keep them going? (that's the only helpful thing I can think of). Can't believe your DD is in bed already, lucky you! I should do wrapping but so can't be arsed.

You'll end up with a stubborn one like mine Min Grin .

Hope all is ok with your DPs family Pis and that you're ok without him for Christmas. Are you going to your parents'?

laurenamium · 21/12/2014 19:20

Ah wil I've offered to look after their other little boy, take things to the hospital, finish Christmas shopping, wrap presents, do their laundry Grin she just wants normal chat to keep her sane! I might put together a practical hamper though for when she's out as I know her DH isn't the most practical household wise!

Min you've definitely got a comfy oven!

ChatEnOeuf · 21/12/2014 19:40

Ah Lauren I hope your goddaughter is better for Christmas. Bronch sucks, this time of year is awful for it. Sounds like you've offered the best things, visiting and taking a good book will also be welcomed. Sick babies sleep a lot and hospitals are dull...

I loved LOTR but to be honest, the Hobbit was a bit dull. Obviously I need to see the last one but it feels out of duty/completeness rather than desire.

Indigoblue2 · 21/12/2014 20:50

Well it was another night of waking at 2pm with ouchhhhh cramping. It's just the weirdest thing, I wake once a night with pains which are worse than I've ever had with a period, it lasts about 15 mins, then goes away and I go back to sleep. If I don't wake up soon enough the cramps seem to get incorporated into my dream and then I wake up sweating. I have on off cramps during the day but none like this!

I understand it's meant to be stretching etc but if I'm baking an apple pip and my uterus is the size of a pear, wtf is getting stretched?!

Indigoblue2 · 21/12/2014 20:51

lauren best wishes to your GC. What a shitty time to have something like that happen Hmm
