Hi all, wow! Just spent an hour reading this and the old thread, so running out of energy to contribute much.
Saw midwife last night which was good and we heard baby's heartbeat on the doppler for the 1st time.
She told me I have to drink more water, as I'm getting so many headaches, so so far today I have had 2 litres. It's ok, but then I have to run to the toilet all the time!

me: 34
dh: 32
dd: 18 motnhs
due: 3rd April
live: Germany
had a homebirth last time and it was so good that we're (I'm) going for it again this time.

Glad I'm not the only one not having sex... very reassuring. DH says he's waiting for the 4th months when you 'typically' start to get horny, but I think he'll have a long wait

15+1

mammyjo · 11/10/2006 18:25

Hi all! How did this thread get so long already!!
Congrats GGF on your pink news, so glad everything is ok!

MIAM, glad your scan went ok and also that your dh had his wicked way!! Wont tell my dh or he will expect some of the same!

Welcome 1becomes3, hope you have a happy and healthy double pregnancy!

Runnyhabbit I live in Bridgend too! Had my first in Princess of Wales and will be having this one there aswell. No home birth for me as ds was poorly at birth so am not taking a chance as there is the potential for it to happen again.

Welcome WaspElly. Good wishes for a healthy pregnancy.

Me: 33
DH: 33
DS: 3.5
Due date: 1st April 2007
Definite hospital birth for me!
15+3

Sexonlegs, I worked at the Tower Industrial Estate. Very Glamorous! Just Admin nothing exciting. It's nice to know there are some people close by.

doobydoo · 11/10/2006 19:02

Just a quickie[haven't caught up on the whole thread yet].
MIAM...i experience symptoms like emmymummy too...period pains and the pulling when i sneeze.HTH abit.
Poor you Bugmum..try not to worry too much it isn't a bad omen.I know its difficult i feel more anxious this time round.
Him to newies and congrats on positive scans and good luck for those tomorrow.
Your poor Fil Bubbalooo..sounds horrific.
I had my first scan today and ds who is 7 was there too and said it looked like 'a lump of goo'
.I was so relieved to see the heart beating i could cry and its little leg went up right on the side where i am sure i have felt a few kicks. They aren't sure if i am 13 ish or 14 weeks but have said 10th April. And it looks like i am going to be able to have a csection so i feel relieved about that but still anxious about growing this bean.
Not such a quickie after all.Off to make tea.
Take care all

pesha · 11/10/2006 21:14

Hello all, can i join your thread? I'm due april 21st, well lmp was 14th july so by my reckoning and the books i've got its 21st but the midwifes little wheel said 20th so which is right? I know it doesn't make the slightest difference really and I'm still 12+5 by my dates and the scan just not sure why its different if we're all working from the same date.

Anyway

Good morning all,

I know I'm due right at the end of this thread - but have other people told work yet? Had a rotten experience last time and I'm now nervous (for no particular reason).
SOL & AngeG - I'm in Woolston Southampton so that's 3 of us!
Tarra!

duchesse · 12/10/2006 09:18

Is anybody else collapsing into bed by 8pm, or is it just me?

I don't remember feeling this tired the last three times. I suppose some of might be due to blood loss- I feel vaguely normal again for the first time since last Thursday, but still...

geordiemacminx · 12/10/2006 09:38

I have been in bed between 8 and 9 almost very night since I found out!!!! I cant function otherwise!!!

Hi all

my roll call -

me - 30
dh - 32
ds - 17mths
due - 10th April
birth plan - home (hopefully!)
live - bridgend, south wales
don't mind if it's blue or pink

emmymummy - no, you're not the only one still having sex. my sex drive got switched back on as soon as I reached 12 weeks dh can't believe his luck!

mammy jo - ds was had to be delivered using suction (long story) but mw still thinks that I'm a suitable homebirther. dh worried that the same thing might happen again, but going to plan properly nearer the time.

Sexonlegs · 12/10/2006 11:56

Hiya Geordie, it is quite hard to use isn't it, but isn't it such a great sound when you do here it! I keep hearing my stomach rumbling as well - not such a nice sound.
Feel knackered today, and had some cramping again - not enjoying this pg as much as last time I have to say.
Whinge over. Need to eat something.

Bye for now.

geordiemacminx · 12/10/2006 12:01

We are renting one of the expensive ones from anawiz which has an lcd display on it so you can see when it gets up to 160 ish..

By the way anyone who is considering a doppler I cannot reccoment anawiz.com enough!!! I ordered it one day, it arrived the next, even though they hadnt recieved payment for it!! Woman I spoke to was lovely!!!

I just wish I could stop being sick. Had macs yesterday, got home last night threw it all back up.. not nice
