Hi Linsey. I'm so sorry to hear that. Do you think that he's a bit overwhelmed with becoming a dad, and once he gets his head round it, all will be ok, or are there other reasons? It's awful to break up at any time, but obviously whilst pregnant and around Christmas must be particularly painful. I hope that you are with family, for support .
I hope that this is something that you can work through, but if it really is over between you, please try to remain positive (hard I know), and look after yourself and children. It's better to know sooner than later, and lots of people cope in difficult circumstances, life just finds a way x

Scary moment this morning. I woke up feeling a little crampy and could swear I could smell blood. Ran to the loo, nothing. Did a pee stick just to be sure though.

Last of the family to tell today - grandparents and aunts/uncles etc. can't wait! Woke up feeling nauseous though which is not the eat start seeing as house already filled with smell of turkey hopefully I will feel better after breakfast!

Had our scan yesterday, little bean with hands and feet all ok. Very surreal!
We told our parents and my sister yesterday - I don't know why I was worried about it, everyone was genuinely so happy for us

My new EDD is 20th July.

Over done it the past couple of days and suffering for it now. It isn't over yet either. 2 out of 3 DCs really happy with their haul from santa. Can't please everyone all the time.

Told DH's parents and DSis/BIL/nephews last night. Went really well, and their reactions were brilliant. Only frustrating thing was his mum constantly going on about wanting to call all her friends and distant relatives to tell them after we kept telling her no as my family wont find out till boxing day... Her answer? I'll call them boxing day then! NO! rolls eyes

I'm cooking lunch for just 4 of us and I've kept it pretty easy so feeling nice and calm, thanks to Back to the Future being on at the perfect time!

It really is surreal at the scan, isn't it, fleur - I know what you mean!

We're having a massive debate about when to tell my DSC. We'd thought one of the weekends they're with us in January, but now I'm wondering whether tomorrow might be better as they are with us until NYE and we might be able to deal with any fall out or delayed reactions better than over a 2-night weekend in Jan... But then it's also about telling DH's ex over the Christmas break if we do it this week... argh. Wish my first was also DH's first...

DS woke up with a 40.1 C in temperature this morning so we has a very quiet day. Thankfully my mum was cooking as my nausea came back today after been absent for 10 days.

We were fine until fil decides randomly to serve champagne(its not like they dont know), pouring everyone some- i dont like it anyway. And i got out my schloer

Today has officially been a success and I feel good DCs have all been having a great time aswell as the family who were here for Christmas dinner. Cleaning up all done :) Did I say I was pleased

All family now know! My nana cried :) but what is evenpre the most amazing and best news, is that my cousin (who I called earlier to tell and was worried about telling due to mc earlier in year baby was due on NYE) is not only ALSO pregnant but due 5 days before me! Cannot believe it! Double whammy for our family this Xmas. And she has had scans and all ok. So so happy for her and so funny that we are so close together, it is going to be brill such happy times in our family this Christmas!

DH and I Successfully cooked turkey for 12 with trimmings for first time and went down a storm! Absolutely knackered now tho and cramping - overdone it! Early to bed I think :)
