Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 14th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I have a pain in/under my ribs on the right side that is keeping me awake. Heartburn related? Have taken rennies but it's not disappearing.

Minion · 11/11/2014 07:13

4 weeks and 1 day left. Funny you should say that, everyone is betting on an early arrival, me I'm not thinking that way, that way lies madness.

I'm on strict orders from the husband that this is a total chill day today for me. He even had me on my knees on all fours last night... (Ahhh the good old JSing days), sadly not for the same reasons. We were trying out comfy positions to make the Toni's piss off.

popz, our tour is tonight! did it freak you out a bit?
scoob get off that ball and inhale some peanut butter of the crunchy variety! it worked for ness

I've had the Starbucks almond and honey hot choc now. The first bit was great then it all went a bit pointless.
Back to costa for me although asking the Starbucks to add some eggnog flavouring to their hot choc is always a winner....

Leela5 · 11/11/2014 07:22

min hoping you get a bit of a break and they stop soon chick :(

furry get bouncing!!! Grin Fx for today

laurenamium · 11/11/2014 07:44

Morning viroids. Good to see you're back la Grin

I've got my 16 week mw appointment today. Is there anything I need to put on my list apart from the million questions I have about low PAPP A? I have DDs virus too- do I need to rearrange it or will that be fine?

rm00054 · 11/11/2014 08:02

Thanks wiggly I might look into the home birthing midwife option.
I have offered to travel, but in all the 4 surgeries linked with my one, she's only there 2 days, the receptionist could only access details about their practices, so I guess that's why the mw is going to contact me directly.
I definitely don't want to tell my boss that I'm upduffed yet, I know it's illegal for them to fire me over it, but there's a very real chance that they'll think about their options and decide to make me redundant. Doubt I would be allowed time off for hospital appointments so I will probably just take the days off as annual leave until I tell them I guess.
I'm not full time, but I have 2 jobs and only work 4 days a week, so just trying to find somewhere with appointments on my 1 day off!
Anyway, I'll just have to wait till Thursday to find out. more stupid waiting

Nessalina · 11/11/2014 08:07

Morning all! Thanks so much for all the good wishes - I love you guys! Smile
Here's a piccie of baby James snoozing on my legs!
We're still in hospital, he won't go on the boob. He's got a pretty obvious tongue tie, so that's the likely culprit. I've been squeezing out syringes of colostrum for him - my nipples hurt like hell!
Starving, just waiting for Mr Ness to get here and find me some breakfast!

Awwww Ness!!

Will they cut the tie? Hope it gets sorted soon (and mr Ness hurries up with a sausage sarnie...)

RPopz · 11/11/2014 08:18

Oh Ness he is just peachy!!

Leela5 · 11/11/2014 08:22

Awwwwww ness he is beautiful!!!! Look at his wee angel face!

Congratulations! Well done gal, well done xxx

honeysucklejasmine · 11/11/2014 08:31

Oooh he's so beautiful! Thanks

HungryHorace · 11/11/2014 08:32

He's gorgeous, Ness.

I hope they cut his tie for you. How're you feeling?

Minion · 11/11/2014 08:53

Awww look at the wee man having a snooze! What a beaut! Hope they managed to sort the tongue tie, how long will it take if they do? What happens of they can't...

Give him lots of squidges from his aunty grads x

minimooo · 11/11/2014 08:55

Aww, ness, he is gorgeous! Hope they sort the tongue tie out for you.

How are you feeling this morning furry? Hope you got a good rest last night, and back on the ball this morning!

lauren I had mine the other day. You should be fine to go in despite virus - maybe just mention it to mw in case it affects your bp reading. I also asked for details of a local hypnobirthing person cause I'd like to give it a go, and dh asked a million questions about how much water I should be drinking, what excercises I should be doing, what they test the urine for... put me to shame! The only thing I forgot to ask was details for 20week scan: what they look for, do I need a full bladder etc. I don't know if my rambling is helping really...but maybe there's something useful in there! Hope they get you some answers about the PAPP A stuff.

laurenamium · 11/11/2014 09:22

Aw ness he's beautiful Grin

Thanks mini good idea asking about what they look for at 20 week scan! I think DP is going to a funeral (was undecided when he went to bed) so if he is ill be on my own so mustn't forget anything! Will they listen to the heart beat?

FurryScoob · 11/11/2014 09:22

Aawww ness he's lovely, looks so peaceful! Hope they can help him start feeding soon so you can go home.

mini I had to have a fairly full bladder for 20 week scan, got sent out to drink more.

I've had 10 hours sleep, got woken up by my bladder. Not had that much sleep in months! I'm avoiding the birthing ball & cleaning stuff today, the ball just seems to stop everything. I'm about to eat crunchie nut cornflakes will report back on the effectiveness of peanuts inducing contractions later!

splodge77 · 11/11/2014 09:41

Gorgeous boy Ness! well done! Hope they sort out the tongue-tie and you get home from hozzy soon.

Another night of insomnia and 4am sickness / banana eating for me. I'm 16 weeks now, when am I going to stop feeling rank? wahhh.
In other news my son has decided that if the baby is a girl it's going to be called Darth Vadar! tee hee.

laurenamium · 11/11/2014 09:51

Darth vader is an excellent girls name splodge Grin

I've had a number of texts from concerned school gate mums telling me how rough I look today and asking if I'm okay and offering help with DD...I know they mean well but NINE texts saying I look rough?! I suppose it means I don't normally look rough though which is always a good thing!

BothersomeB · 11/11/2014 10:04

Splodge - that's not fair...Darth Vadar is our first choice for a girl! A friend of mine just got a dog and allowed her two boys (3 and 6) to name it...so they now have a greyhound called Batman!

Leela5 · 11/11/2014 10:09

Batman and Darth Vader are fine names!

My cat is called Chewbacca

lauren that's a bit disconcerting! Good they're looking out for you but still...

Good luck with your scan today!

Push, furry, push! ;)

minimooo · 11/11/2014 10:10

lauren they listed to the heartbeat at mine the other day (was amazing!) but I know it's not routine everywhere. I guess you could always ask if the mw doesn't offer...

Thanks furry I'll remember to take a bottle of water for mine in that case. Keep us updated on progress Smile

Darth vader! Grin

Leela5 · 11/11/2014 10:11

5am again for me this morning, I probably write that earlier but can't remember!

I feel bit nauseous when first get up, before having a wee or anything to eat. And I wake up 4 times during night for pee.

Nausea - I really want it to happen as last time I didn't get it and everyone else at same time did, it didn't bode well. Come on sickness!

BothersomeB · 11/11/2014 10:22

Hey La! Am also on the 4 times a night for a pee rota. If I cut down on water in the evenings I can get that down to 2 times...but we're also supposed to be drinking lots of water, no? 6+4 and time is going by sooooo slowly. Every morning when I wake up and bun is still in oven, I say a little thank you. Feeling pretty sicky - emptying the dishwasher makes me heave for some reason, as does the smell of my own deodrant...

Ness - James is absolutely adorable...made my womble go all funny! Hope he gets feeding soon and you can take him home where you can settle down and have proper food too!

ZylaB · 11/11/2014 10:30

ness he's gorgeous! Hope you get home soon.

KatoPotato · 11/11/2014 10:46

Oh Ness! Look! You made a Baby James! And he's PERFECT!

Hope you're doing good. Lots of love xxxx
