Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 14th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Good luck ness hope you get your water birth & don't spend too long mooing like a cow. Keep up the nice updates, your making it all sound very manageable unlike the scare stories I've been told recently!

wilmabedrock · 09/11/2014 09:29

Maybe 'little' in the sense that it's not a city hospital but it is the only one in the region. Although I guess if you needed serious specialist help for something you would be sent elsewhere. A benefit of being in Scotland I presume.

Surely 3 in 10 mins Popz, 3 in 5 would be Shock ?

Minion · 09/11/2014 09:31

Right I want the free parking hospital, ours is something shocking like £2 an hour! It does have a few houses just outside the gates so will get the bloke to drop and park I think.
Though I'm going for a tour on Tues so could prob just enquire then!

He's just bought up the gooeyist sausage, egg and mushroom sarnie ever... Phwoar. Think I'll keep him!

Hope you get your pool Ness, the odds are in your favour! We've only two at ours so fingers crossed that it stays nice and empty x

honeysucklejasmine · 09/11/2014 09:32

Good luck Ness! Flowers

jellypi3 · 09/11/2014 09:42

(Delurks) Hope it goes well for you Ness :) Good luck!!

(Joins Honey running back to undergrads)

Cymraes17 · 09/11/2014 09:55

Good luck Ness!
Remember to drink enough, DH's only job last time was to stick a straw in my mouth every 10/15 mins. 1st time I had a bladder scan after the birth and told me my bladder was full - only it wasn't (didn't drink anything during labour too sleepy!) 2nd time I was put on a drip and overfilled the hat thing you wee in for them to measure it.
enjoy those lovely first snuggles!

lildottie · 09/11/2014 10:03

Also come to check on ness so place marking, then running back to underhrads also!

RPopz · 09/11/2014 10:07

Haha, must be 3 in 10 minutes then! spot the Noob Grin Apparently the midwife insists on keeping you talking on the phone for 10 minutes when you first ring up... if you can hold a conversation then they won't let you go in! Shock Hmm

The raspberry leaf tea or one of the many MANY other things I ate yesterday has given me killer reflux this morning. Bleurgh.

Poor puppy has had shooty ass in the night so kitchen smells delightful... Hmm

My lazy daisy friend who was due same day as Nessa had her babe last night!! 4-5 days over must be magic number! Go Ness!!

Nessalina · 09/11/2014 10:11

Hmmmm... Have got up and dressed and bouncing on birthing ball, and contractions have all but stopped! Confused Still feeling some tightenings, but not the big waves. Must just be warming up! Will keep you posted Grin

Go Ness!

FurryScoob · 09/11/2014 10:17

Mabey it's eating peanut butter bagels in bed that gets the contractions going ness got off the ball & go back to bed!

RPopz · 09/11/2014 10:17

OMG... FINALLY seen the John Lewis ad. I didn't cry, I am a failure... Penguin is super cyooot though Smile

wilmabedrock · 09/11/2014 10:19

Oh dear. Who suggested birthing ball?! (whistles nonchalantly and sidles out of room).

Pisghetti · 09/11/2014 10:36

We have free parking at our hospital - I suspect it's a welsh government thing. Also the birth centre has about 360 births a year so chances of getting the room you want are good!

Hope it gets going again soon Ness and you get a pool Smile

Shooty ass sounds dreadful Popz

Heading off for a day mooching about town with DS. We're going to take advantage of Yo Sushi's Sunday offer then a touch of lego browsing to keep him happy and some clothes shopping as he's grown out of his jeans again the monster Hmm

fattycow · 09/11/2014 10:37

Our nearest hospital charges 2.40 euro a day, so that's not too bad.

Leela5 · 09/11/2014 10:54

Quick reassurance question - I've got lots of twinges in right hand side of womb. Obviously mind has gone mad suspecting ectopic but it's quite normal to be getting twinges isn't it? It's womb stretching and little embryo settling in? No bleeding or anything

fattycow · 09/11/2014 10:59

I'm feeling the same, Leela. A bit like period cramps.

fattycow · 09/11/2014 11:00

Leela, when are you due again?

ZylaB · 09/11/2014 11:00

Ness good luck good luck :)

Our hospital is mental its paying, we'll have to work something out for when we go cos I'll be in for a few days. I think you can park in a free park and ride and gt a free bus in, so I'll get DH to do that when it's not an emergency. It costs me £5 every time I go for an apt at the moment.

Nessalina · 09/11/2014 11:00

Sounds v.normal La! I got more twinges on my left side than my right in early preg. That's probably the lil' embryo burrowing in Grin

OP posts:
ZylaB · 09/11/2014 11:01

Yeah la settling in and stretching pains. It's so awful that pg symptoms, and then early pg things are the same as period signs. I worried for ages. Drink plenty of water la

RPopz · 09/11/2014 11:05

I second the water. Cramps were always worse when I was tired/ dehydrated for some reason. I think the cramps I had in early preg were worse than any period pain I've ever had - helpfully!

Pisghetti · 09/11/2014 11:06

Left side twinges for quite a while. Some were really OOF inducing. I did wonder ectopic too because they were so off centre but everything was normal.
