Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 14th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Nope not for a while at least although every health professional I spoke to after I had him kept asking what contraception I would be using from now on. I felt a bit pressured to go on something.

Yup It's a huge bruise. And very sore!

ChatEnOeuf · 03/11/2014 22:11

Smile Dulcet I have the same dual-purpose appt with the ob/gyn here. Call it hedging our bets.

Lauren hope you're not too badly hurt!

Nessalina · 03/11/2014 22:56

Viroids, I'm having a panic!
Baby's got hiccups, and they're right at the top of the bump, above my belly button! Confused They're normally right at the bottom above left hip. What if the little bugger darling has turned again??
Don't know what to do... 40 weeks tomorrow so not good if I go into labour if he is breech. Not sure if I should ring Maternity Assessment, or midwife, or antenatal clinic or what!
Or do nothing... ARGH.

RPopz · 03/11/2014 23:04

Nothing to lose by ringing midwife Ness?

Nessalina · 03/11/2014 23:39

Yes. I think I'll try her tomorrow... I mean he could just have been kicking me rhythmically, but it definitely felt like hiccups to me! She might be able to squeeze me in for a quick feel about, or send me for an ultrasound.
He has been moving a fair bit, but I'm sure I'd had felt a total turn about!
Bugger it.

laurenamium · 04/11/2014 07:15

Dulcet you can get early symptoms! That's how a lot of people know!

Ness it can't hurt to call! What would happen if baby is breech?

Sorry for casually mentioning I came off the horse then not letting you know I was okay! Ended up asleep very early, I rang the ward and they said they didn't want me in unless I was bleeding or in pain. I landed on my side and we weren't going fast- my boot got stuck on a gate post and I was dragged off Hmm couple of knee grazes but other than that I'm fine! Grin

Pisghetti · 04/11/2014 07:19

Happy D-Day ness! Hope baby-Ness hasn't gone rambling again Confused

Hope you're ok Lauren

Mmmmm mini Cookies........

Minion · 04/11/2014 07:44

Happy due date ness, I'll be feverishly refreshing for news! although I hope the news isn't that little ness has turned.
cookie a plus for planning but ouch indeed!
lauren glad you're ok and sorry you won't be able to ride anymore. That sucks.

Is it wrong I want some mini cookies too now?

Well we had a minor trauma last night. Husband came to feel belly after I said I thought mini min had gone transverse again, he felt both sides, gave the tiniest of nudges and all he'll broke loose. It was soooo painful, he thought he'd started labour by touching me (he isn't that good hahah), lasted for ages, couldn't walk etc.
Seemed to settle down so can only assume the baby thought 'get the frig off me' and proceeded to push all it's weight into my ribs...
Super sore!

TheBooMonster · 04/11/2014 07:48

nes I'm sure DD's hiccups were always higher, near the end of pregnancy people could see the bump moving with each hiccup, and she was the right way round from quite early, could be the way (s)he's laying is making you feel them more at the front now than previously and (s)he's right where (s)he should be, definitely worth getting checked out though, they might even be able to give you a sweep today to see if they can kick start things if you're already there :P

Leela5 · 04/11/2014 08:08

Checking in to say hi to you all and to see who's next to pop - is it ness?

Good luck viroids!

BothersomeB · 04/11/2014 08:39

ness - happy due date! I'm afraid I have nothing to offer by way of advice being only 5+4 with my first! Am looking on in terror fascination though.

dulcet - that's a load of crap about not getting symptoms early. I've had stabby boobs and been feeling sick since af was due and am pretty sure the dry heaving is not a figment of my imagination. Hmm have all my fingers crossed for a sticky bean for you (and me) Smile

RPopz · 04/11/2014 09:07

Haha, happy due date Ness!! Come on out babyN! Smile

I'm taking a pregnancy day skiving today... Need to go see my mum in hospital and its a 4 hour round trip... Confused No idea how I'd manage it otherwise. Was feeling so tired and overwhelmed last week I thought I'd go to go and get a sicknote for this week... Felt loads better on Sunday tho, so went in to work yesterday. Technically not feeling bad today really so feel a bit guilty about not being at work Hmm

wilmabedrock · 04/11/2014 09:19

Ah Popz, don't feel bad, enjoy your day - hope your mum's ok.

Happy due date Ness! I agree that you can feel hiccups further up. I think you probably would have felt a turn like that.

It's my little lost bean's due date today Sad . Feel fine about it really but easier to bring it up here than in real life and make someone feel uncomfortable Grin .

RPopz · 04/11/2014 09:23

Feel so anxious and guilty now I'm not sure its worth it haha! People do keep saying I need to milk this pregnancy lark more.... Wink

Really Wil? Wow. It doesn't seem that long ago at all (hope that's not v insensitive!). Hugs Thanks

How you feeling Ness? A Lazy Daisy friend is due today as well. She's debating whether to go in for a sweep today or not.

laurenamium · 04/11/2014 09:32

Hugs wil Thanks

Popz a sick note is a sick note! Hope your DM is ok!

Nessalina · 04/11/2014 10:02

Morning all! Thanks for the reassurance on the hiccup situation... It really doesn't feel like he has switched, but I think I'll ring midwife just to reassure myself - hopefully she'll also say that it's normal to get hiccups up top!!

Popz - guilt free!! You have a note. Notes are golden Grin

Lauren - glad you're not smeared across the paddock Wink

Wil - Thanks for you. Hope it's not on your mind too much xxx I've been finding that it's such a weird feeling when you're pregnant again, because it's sad for the one you lost, but happy for the one that's with you now, which couldn't have been there otherwise IYKWIM?
It's just gone a year to the day of my lost girl's birthday (Nov 2nd) - I'd actually forgotten until you posted that, which makes me feel a bit bad, but then also a bit glad. Having this little man due to appear any day took my mind right off it. Can't believe it was a year ago!

ChatEnOeuf · 04/11/2014 10:04

Happy due date Ness! I remember my entire bump hiccuping, especially towards the end. I also remember her turning...you wouldn't miss that probably

Milk away, Popz. Hope your mum is ok.

RPopz · 04/11/2014 10:33

She's ok. She is/ was an alcoholic so has lots of liver related complications and is always very sketchy about her health... She went in hospital a week ago telling it was nothing to worry about and she'd be out the next day... She's told me that every day since!! Bad daughter not going to see her til now but it's really awkward to get to from here. Oops.

Pisghetti · 04/11/2014 10:33

Popz you may well be feeling better because you don't have to be in work today ergo the sick note is working its magic. Is it bad I'm almost willing myself to come down with something like a minor water infection to get some rest before Christmas...? Hope your mum's ok x

Thanks Wil

BothersomeB · 04/11/2014 11:18

Anyone else suffer from pregnancy rage? I've been feeling very stressed and angry the last couple of days, which obviously can't be good for anyone (especially colleagues/Mr B who are on the receiving end)...getting red mist over things that really shouldn't matter...any advice??

Popz - don't feel bad! We all need a day off every now and then...think my colleagues would prefer that at the moment - and they don't even know the reason for me being a bit psycho!

ZylaB · 04/11/2014 11:32

Hugs wil and ness

Dreamt I'd lost the baby last night and am now paranoid I can't feel her, though she's not normally bouncing around until evenings and I've only recently felt her so I know I shouldn't worry, but DH wasn't here and I needed a hug :(

JuniDD · 04/11/2014 12:26

Oh zyla what a horrible dream. Try not to worry today.

wil, pg after a loss is so strange. I cried a lot towards the end over the loss, it brings up lots of feelings.

lauren hope you're ok today, you go steady!

Hope little ness is being a good boy and you get some answers.

Just waiting for my mum to come round and MrJ has gone to the gym...guess we're in for a rough night as feeling quite happy and under control right now. Wink

wilmabedrock · 04/11/2014 15:24

Thanks guys. It was such an early loss so not what some of you have been through and I was really lucky to be pg again so quickly. Think I would feel it more if I wasn't pg again.

Zyla that's a horrible dream. Drink something cold or go for a bath to see if that sparks off any movement?

I can't remember what anyone else has said as read it all hours ago!

Nessalina · 04/11/2014 16:15

Poor you Zyla, that's horrible Sad It's amazing the mean tricks that your brain will pull on you!!

Well mini-Ness got hiccups again and they felt further down this time, so I think I was worrying for nothing after all! Grin I've had a very mine due date, my mummy came to visit and we went out for lunch Smile Our waitress was visibly upduffed and my mum asked when she was due (Jan!) so she asked me, and looked a bit shocked when I said 'today'! Grin

Ness - love that story...I was working in a deli years ago when a heavily pregnant local friend of mine came in with her husband telling me she was having contractions but hadn't dilated much so had come out for a walk! I ushered them out pretty quickly but went on to join them for a curry a bit later. Entertaining watching her order...'I'll have the...ooops, sorry - contraction...vindaloo please!'
