Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 14th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Zyla, baby baths are so common over here, I don't know anyone who doesn't have one! They come with a standard so that they are a good height. I prefer that over a regular bath with a baby seat, as you have to kneel awkwardly for that.

Minion · 02/11/2014 13:17

Yesssssss dulcet I just knew we'd see you soon enough! Huge congratulations girl, great news.
Fingers crossed juni, that this may be it all kicking off!

laurenamium · 02/11/2014 13:28

Congratulations dulcet GrinThanks

I had a baby bath for DD, I like it because when she was tiny and I was still sore I put her bath on top of her changing unit with a towel under (lots of room so really steady) and it was a good height. My bath is too high to comfortably lean over and I would use loads more water filling a bath too. The sink is a good idea though!

couldbeanyone · 02/11/2014 13:32

Someone lent us a baby bath with dd I honestly wouldn't bother buying one, they can use them for such a short period of time and the sink will do it - or get into the normal bath with them. After explosive poos it was easier to dunk in sink!!

Cymraes17 · 02/11/2014 13:40

Zyla we got a bath as a gift with our 1, and used it a lot. By the 2 and 3 we used a sloping bath seat and bathed all DC together. This time im hoping to use the slopping seat again but will have to split DC's into 2 bath groups!

FurryScoob · 02/11/2014 13:49

Yay congratulations dulcet

Can you still buy space hoppers? I keep falling off my birthing ball, handles would make it safer!

Have a shagtastic afternoon ness what ever works please let me know Im fed up waiting too!

WigglyBraddins · 02/11/2014 14:10

ness your comment about waiting made me smile. Thank you. And twiddle your nipples while on your space hopper (without falling off) as that's meant to release oxytocin. I was 15 days overdue when I finally have birth to DS (having refused one induction then agreed to have one to find there were no beds...luckily I went into labour spontaneously while waiting) and that really was the longest wait of my life (midwife told me to drive fast over speed bumps to get me started!). This isn't that bad.

dulcet and bother I think we'll need to hold hands over the next month. Have you got midwife appointments yet? Mine's on Friday.

zyla DS was huge but I'm still glad we had a baby bath because I didn't like the time spent & water wasted filling up the big bath when he was too big for the sink.

WigglyBraddins · 02/11/2014 14:11

Ps got baby bath at an NCT sale so v cheap.

ChatEnOeuf · 02/11/2014 14:11

You definitely can still get space hoppers, in at least two sizes (kids and maternity?).

We used our baby bath a lot for about 16 weeks. I just had it on the floor of the bathroom but it was easier than leaning over the bath - especially with painful/engorged boobs.

WigglyBraddins · 02/11/2014 14:27

chat will you join us holding hands while we wait for 12 weeks too? And how did the wedding/hiding not drinking go?

ZylaB · 02/11/2014 14:38

Thank you all for bath talk, there's so so much I don't know lol :)

RPopz · 02/11/2014 14:44

We've got a bath seat type thing Zyla that you put in the normal bath. I've heard baby baths are heavy and a bit inconvenient once filled with water!

Lol widdly - I remember reading in one of my books that nipple stimulation, esp sucking was supposed to be good at starting labour... but it needs to be done constantly, for ages and "neither of you should enjoy it" ! Haha!

BothersomeB · 02/11/2014 14:57

Hey dulcet - good to see you here - congrats! I'm with you on the twinges... I've also been getting occasional light cramps, stabby pains, a bloated/heavy feeling. Less so now but fairly consistent for a week. But like af but without the blood. Really scary and far too close to mc feeling for my liking. I did ask the doc and she said all normal. Doesn''t stop me obsessing checking though. Going to book private nifty test and scan for 10 weeks so at least we'll have something to aim for!
Not sure anything will stop the worry - We've just got to get through it... Hmm

Nessalina · 02/11/2014 15:15

hugs and decaff Brew for all the worriers Smile

God, I can't imagine anything worse than DH sucking on my nipples right now Blush Plus, he might get a mouthful of something he's not expecting!! Bleurgh.

rpopz love "neither of you should enjoy it"!

dulcet I had all sorts of womby feelings like AF. They've subsided now too.

wilmabedrock · 02/11/2014 15:29

Yay Dulcet, great to see you back!

Good to know we're all paranoid. Once the crotch watch is over, it's all about how much movement you're getting. Then back to crotch watch.

I went swimming today and forgot to take a bra with me. Luckily was wearing something that protected my modesty but felt a bit strange, although really comfy.

RPopz · 02/11/2014 16:08

You'll just have to make do with him tweaking then Ness Grin

Minion · 02/11/2014 17:10

Brings a whole new meaning to TWOT. Two weeks of tweaking!
I've this strange suspicion that I'm going to be early, paranoid or what!

splodge77 · 02/11/2014 18:37

Two weeks of nipple tweaking!! Sounds sore! Re baby baths, we had one of these in the bath which was great - comfy for baby and non-slip as it's made of a kind of stretchy towelling material. Will defo get one again for this baba.

RPopz · 02/11/2014 18:40

Yeah splodge, that's the sort of thing we've got but its from mothercare Smile

DulcetMoans · 02/11/2014 19:29

Thanks viroids. I am completely in for the hand holding. If we can sing a happy song while we do it, like hippies, to stay positive then even better.

No MW yet wiggly but docs tomorrow. We need to see GP before referral here anyway and planning to ask for progesterone test and what happens if it goes wrong again. If I can remember to ask anyway, I lose my head when I see the medical people and come out more confused!

You're going to busy if you do all these things nessa, hope you're good at multitasking!

ChatEnOeuf · 02/11/2014 20:36

Definitely much squeezing of hands and pants watching with you! My secret is out. Think the sandwich eating during the service was the first clue, declining the champagne second and not getting involved with the stilton on the cheeseboard the final giveaway. Damn my friends and their excellent taste!

FurryScoob · 02/11/2014 20:43

Grin picnics in the middle of a wedding ceremony, sounds like a bloody good idea to me. Might try that at the next one, won't be tempted to graze on the grass while photos are being taken for hours!

TheBooMonster · 02/11/2014 20:43

Hi dulcet I think I forgot to welcome you earlier slaps wrist I always take a list with me to the doctors, it helps me remember everything I want to bring up when my head goes and probably makes me look like a crazed hypochondriac

RPopz · 02/11/2014 20:57

What song shall we sing?

Mr P is swearing over Mothercare furniture again... if we had a swear jar during its assembly it would've paid for itself by now Grin Highly UNRECOMMENDED if anyone's contemplating any...

Shock Chat I thought we could have stilton??? Oops
