Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 14th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Stilton is fine! Hard blue cheese is ok, soft blue (like Gorgonzola) is not.

ChatEnOeuf · 02/11/2014 21:14

It may not have been stilton...it looked beautiful and delicious, whatever it was. The waiter told me the list but I couldn't remember what I was allowed to eat so didn't have any. Having nearly thrown up my cheese on toast thus evening, that was probably a good idea but fir the wrong reasons. Good to have stilton firmly on the good list though Grin

JuniDD · 02/11/2014 21:27

Massive congrats dulcet, so pleased for you.

ness sounds to me like things are gearing up... Grin

May change DD's name to Griselda...I am learning to eat very fast!

Nessalina · 02/11/2014 21:37

God I love blue cheese. Can't wait for massive Xmas cheese boards! drool

wilmabedrock · 02/11/2014 21:41

I love cheese too and never remember what I'm allowed and not allowed.

Ha Juni, I still eat ridiculously fast now after the newborn stage. Get someone to cut up your food for you so you can feed and eat at same time. Is Mr Juni off work to help out at the moment?

DulcetMoans · 02/11/2014 21:45

Whilst googling just now I remember there is a flight attendant in here, isn't there?! Is it you min?? Know anything about Malaysia/pregnant/jabs?!

If anyone wants my share of the rotten cheese feel free. Yuck!

BothersomeB · 02/11/2014 21:48

Me me me for your share of rotten cheese please dulcet! Although not sure I could do it without red wine...

Minion · 02/11/2014 21:51

Ai it's me dulcet, what do you need to know my love?

BothersomeB · 02/11/2014 21:53

wiggly - haven't had my info from the hospital about appointments yet. How long did it take from your gp appt?

WigglyBraddins · 02/11/2014 21:55

Really hope I'm not tempting fate but I'm not giving up any cheese this time...it makes me too happy. Clearly giving pate a miss tho.

chat sorry to hear about your nausea. Are you bothered about your friends at the wedding guessing?

We're seeing my folks and DH's folks when I'm 10 weeks and I don't know whether or not to tell them. With DS we told them really quickly but that was pre-mc. It does change things!

WigglyBraddins · 02/11/2014 21:56

bother I went to the reception at the local surgery who gave me the midwife's number and told me to text her to get an appointment. Bit of a strange system but it worked. I'd seen the GP anyway but they said I didn't need to.

DulcetMoans · 02/11/2014 22:04

Yay min! Just whether the jabs for Malaysia can happen if pg. They want to send me in Jan and wondering if I will have to tell work to get out of it! Googled and not completely clear about what the jabs are but can't find a nice table that says 'you need this and you can have it when pg'. Can ask doc tomorrow, just looking for the info if it's available.

Think my MCs made me more keen to tell close people wiggly so they understand the sads if it goes wrong. Not that I have told anyone yet but I might if it comes up. Is it a supportive family? If you are close you could consider it but ask them to keep calm!

WigglyBraddins · 02/11/2014 22:06

Dulcet your trip sounds exciting. Family are good as far as families go (quite eccentric but hey). MIL will get far too excited but I think you might be right.

splodge77 · 02/11/2014 22:14

Did someone on here say they had pregnancy rhinitis? I had it all preg with DS & it has suddenly appeared this week. Sneezing all over the place & bunged up. Are u allowed any drugs for it? Ie: nasal spray or antihistamine?

Pisghetti · 02/11/2014 22:30

Evening viroids. Can't keep up Confused I'm tired - nice weekend with the in laws but they like later nights than I'm currently comfortable with so I'm about to go pass out back in my own bed Smile

Bought a few baby clothes using up gift cards I've had hanging around for ages. Very exciting! Much debate between DS and DP on the fine line between neutral and boyish. They struggle to agree on much...

On the issue of baths we used one for a little while on the Moses basket stand which made emptying it a bit easier as you could pop a jug underneath and do it in stages. It weighed a tonne when full. We have a rocking stand this time so not the best option! I'm not planning on buying a baby bath - just a support (which got plenty of use in baby bath and regular bath)

RPopz · 02/11/2014 22:33

Not allowed much without prescription splodge - as I've discovered from my many pregnancy colds Angry

Ooh Malaysia Dulcet? Your job sounds very jet set!! What vax do you need? I think vaccinations are generally fine in preg, though maybe not "live" ones.

wiggly We told parents at 8 weeks... no mc history for us but it was still terrifying, felt like I'd jinxed us. Guess it depends whether you'd want them to know in the event of the worst happening, for loves and support.

wilmabedrock · 02/11/2014 22:43

I would think yellow fever would be the one you may need but not allowed to have. However if you've had it already then should be ok Dulcet. Maybe phone GP?

You can take some antihistamines when pg splodge. Cetirizine hydrochloride. I got told not to use nasal sprays though but guess it depends what's in them?

wilmabedrock · 02/11/2014 22:45

Sorry, didn't see you're already going to docs.

ChatEnOeuf · 02/11/2014 22:51

Not too bothered to be honest, they all knew about the mc in Aug as we had to miss another of the gang's wedding day because of it. It's weird though, there won't be many people in the dark by 12w at this rate, so no big Facebook announcement Wink Grin

Most jabs are fine in pregnancy, IIRC, except for live ones. Exciting trip, Borneo and KL are on my one day list along with half the planet

DulcetMoans · 02/11/2014 23:07

I am excited to be offered the chance to go, Sod's law of course that I get offered it the same week. I'm not really well travelled and don't normally get to jet off in my role but I can see how it looks like that popz! It is Jahor I think, near(ish) to KL. We have a sure there.

Thanks for the reassurance though - never been anywhere that need jabs! Will add it home list - good idea boo. Now how to word it all to not sound like a mentalist...

KatoPotato · 02/11/2014 23:17

Scan at 9am tomorrow. Beyond scared.

Nessalina · 03/11/2014 00:43

Kato - gx for you Thanks I hope everything goes marvellously, try not to worry! Xx

Splodge - I have chronic allergic rhinitis (as in, I sneeze constantly at everything if left unmedicated!) and my doctor said I was fine to continue with my usual anti-histamines as they're the ones usually recommended where necessary in pregnancy. They're Cetirizine Hydrochloride, you can get a box of 7 pills for £1 in Boots Smile Might be worth a quick phone convo with your GP or midwife first though in case you've got any contraindications Smile
I've taken one everyday this pregnancy - I started with my last one by trying not to take them (before I spoke to GP) and the snot factor made my MS sooo much worse Confused

Lol, just typed all the above then realised Wil's already said the same, but at least we agree! Grin This is the problem with the app!!

ChatEnOeuf · 03/11/2014 06:52

Good luck Kato Hope all is fine Thanks

Pisghetti · 03/11/2014 07:03

Good luck Kato

wilmabedrock · 03/11/2014 07:40
