Hi everyone,
So sorry to hear your news Quin.
I am now starting to worry as I don't feel sick at the moment (in fact feel like I'm not even pregnant) so a bit anxious about my scan next Monday. I should be over 12 weeks and it will be the first time I actually (hopefully) have proof of the baby being there!

redjumper · 14/10/2014 18:40

Hi Getthered. Poor you to have hyperemesis. But I'm glad you're feeling well enough to post on here now. I hope you're beginning to feel better. I also just joined this thread as I too have been suffering with debilitating nausea, (not serious vomiting so it wouldn't qualify as HG though). It really has been a horrendous few weeks but I think it peaked at 9 weeks and it's now no longer getting worse which gives me some hope. All the best to you!

jazzyjenbo · 14/10/2014 18:50

Yay mslad, i was watching the clock at 12:30 and sending u positive thoughts. Dont overthink 2 days... Mine was 5 days less than my predicted dates of lmp.
I've updated my stats - put as 31st may as i didnt want to b the only 'june' imposter until its confirmed at 12 weeks Grin
Also kitty, i was wondering if an extra column could be added after scan dates for mw appointment dates?

Foetushost · 14/10/2014 19:08

Hello all, sorry I had to get away and sort my head out. I'm ok, I think I have got over the shock and how surreal it all seems.

jazz bean looks very cute - I'm glad for you and I hope all goes well.

foetus and quin so sorry to hear your news xx

I won't know my scan date until I phone up on thurs/fri (depending when can get through) as have to phone to book a week after booking appt...am really hoping there is still space at half term...as don't think I can hand in another absence request at work with medical appt without people wondering what it is for....and don't want to tell people outside family until we've seen scan.

I too have no real symptoms and am worried although this is my first so have no idea, so have been boob prodding (slight tenderness)0, still got constipation/wind, not as bloats now though and still no MS but I know from reading on here that that isn't necessarily a bad sign but part of me would fine it reassuring (although I can't stand sickness anyway!!) am currently 10w.

KittyVonCatsington · 14/10/2014 20:41

jazzy I'm on it!

FeelingBlessed77 · 14/10/2014 20:44

foetus and quin so sorry for you both.

I have had my scan date through at last not until 6th November, by my dares I'll be 13+2 weeks. My first as well, so really wanted the scan as early as possible, but never mind

Titsalinabumsquash · 14/10/2014 20:58

I'm feeling a lot better after a warm (but not too hot!) bubble bath and some dinner.
I'm in bed now reading a trashy novel and having a mug of Horlicks, so rock and roll! Grin

FeelingBlessed77 · 14/10/2014 21:04

tits I was thinking of doing the same thing. xx

LinaDee · 14/10/2014 21:17

I never had this with my DD tori, so I'm a bit miffed already, also hoping that this is not a sign of things to come. It's right at the bottom and almost going right to the top of my bum!!!

It's a great excuse to get the hot water bottle out (and get lots of back rubs from my DH!!!)

Justyouwaitandsee · 14/10/2014 22:19

Hi Kitty, I just got round to checking the stats thread but I'm not listed anymore. Do I need to add myself? Can't see how on my phone...
Thank you for organising...

Hi Just!

We have changed how we do stats-mainly due to sensitivity for those who have suffered losses. In plinky's opening post, there is a link to our stats. You click on it and add yourself to the spreadsheet Grin

Can't remember who mentioned about spots but I have had awful spots since the TWW! You know, the big red ones that hurt Smile Hoping that goes in the second trimester...

Snooky17 · 15/10/2014 06:49

Morning Ladies

Had my scan yesterday am no 9 weeks today nice healthy heartbeat so trying to relax (a bit) my last miscarriage showed heart stopped at 9 +2 so that still plays on my mind but am back again to epu next thurs so at least I dong have long to wait.
I'm also suffering from lower back pain like a few others, I have a tilted uterus which Dr Google suggests could be a reason.
Hugs to all that need them

Fluffeh · 15/10/2014 07:05

Morning ladies!
Great news on all the scan dates being arranged and all the successful scans too.
Jazzy - lovely bean photo :).

Quinn - I'm so sorry for your loss xx

Greasy skin and huge red spots here too. I always had bad skin but this is terrible. Thankfully no huge ones on my face so far but my chest looks like I'm covered in blisters. Every time dd feeds she pokes them repeatedly.
Feeling sick still and being sick quite often through the day but I am keeping some drinks of water and toast down.
I've made an appointment with my gp for Friday to chase up my booking appointment. I'll be 9+4 then and it'll be less than 2 weeks until my scan. I don't want the nuchal fold reading and would like that agreeing before I go and I'm guessing I'll need my handheld notes too.
Hopefully I'll hear before Friday.

Titsalinabumsquash · 15/10/2014 07:07

Great news about the scan Snooky. Smile

I've woken up not feeling sick at all this morning for the first time and I felt hardly nauseous at all last night than usual (Was able to make dinner without heaving) and I'm instantly back to that feeling of dread. Sad

Did I mention how much I hate the first trimester?!

LP20140 · 15/10/2014 07:15

Morning all. I'm 10 weeks today and not feeling many symptoms either. Xx

mumxof3x · 15/10/2014 08:41

Great news snooky :)

Woke up with awful headache again, wish it would go away lol.

I have a major sweet tooth, yesterday I ate: a choux bun, a lemon bakewell, a trifle (homemade large one from bakery) a flake and 3 blue ribbons.....amongst all rest of rubbish Blush

mrsdiddlydoo · 15/10/2014 10:18

Sorry to hear of more losses. It's rubbish this baby making business sometimes. Sending love to all of you. Thanks

It's lovely to read about ladies' positive scan experiences. I guess this is a trying time for lots of us. Waiting. Worrying. Got to remember to try to stay as positive as we can. We're pregnant as far as we know it now. That's a good thing. I am struggling to do this myself though!

My booking appointment isn't until next week when I'll be 10+1. I'm already petrified about the next couple of weeks as it is the same time in an earlier pregnancy when I mc earlier in the year. So hard staying positive. Nausea and a cranky toddler as well. Feel like I'm failing him at the mo. Thank god for Cbeebies!

Won't be long until the glorious 2nd trimester! Hold tight ladies. We're nearly there and things have to start looking up Smile and Cake all round to those who can stomach it.

speedbird17 · 15/10/2014 10:20

Just had booking and mw has to go from LMP so she said 11+2 although I am certain it is more like 9+2 anyway I am still not sure I am pg as she didn't test my wee there and then!! So am in sains buying another test. Date wise I will get a scan within the next 2 weeks and 4 days as they have to do dating/Nuchal fold by 13+6 so hopeful for about an 11 week scan which would be nice!!

Everyone with scans keep us up to date :)

Haily111 · 15/10/2014 10:33

Foetus and Quinn i am so aorry for you losses ?? xXx

All ok here as far as i know. I have my 12 week scan on Tuesday, so sort of looking forward to that. I have a feeling they are going to shift my edd to end of April tho ??

On the subject of feeling sick etc, i still have nausea but not as bad. We are having an extension built at our house at mo so moved in with my grandparents a few weeks ago. My dp ha been staying at the house to look after it. Hoping to move back this weekend but wont have a kitchen for at least another 3 weeks ?? do not sure how i will cope with that and two dc's!
Also am at work and boss doesn't know so struggling with that too. He is going to go mental when he finds out. Only came back from mat leave in Jan Hmm

Sending everyone positive vibes xxx

I'm on strike today so only in work two days this week, I could get used to this. I'm pottering on sorting the house out. I think I'm nesting already the number of home improvements I'm finally sorting out! I've ordered new blinds, had two rooms decorated, sorted out cupboards.

I'm thinking of the bedroom changes that will have to happen to create the baby's room now. We have a lovely guest room which can be changed but I keep all my work clothes in there, ironing board etc so it's just sorting out where to put things.

How did your booking appt go Tori?
Hailey that's going to be hard without a kitchen. What will you eat?
