Just Shagging Grads thread No.13 for upduffed viroids!

Nessalina · 06/10/2014 07:46

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 13th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed! Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy! Grin

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

That's good gaggia, I think instinct is pretty powerful in these situations.

Milk Pisghetti Shock eek! That's early! Actually one of my friends started getting leakage from about 16 weeks... I've had a couple of mornings where there's been a little crusty dark patch in the nipple zone, but not seen anything liquid yet... Very weird!!

I think I'll take that loo roll tip too... Confused

FurryScoob · 17/10/2014 05:42

Flowers wil snot & sick is never a good combination, Hope you feel better soon & mini wil let's you have some extra sleep!

What is it about pregnancy & waking up at stupid o clock in the morning?
I'm Hungary, time for an early morning cupboard raid. Grin

wilmabedrock · 17/10/2014 06:10

I'm starving too but scared I'll wake the toddler if I get up. Need to start bringing a snackbox to bed!

Nessalina · 17/10/2014 06:54

strokes Wil's head Wink

I completely agree! I have nothing to do, but I've been awake an hour and now I'm ravenous, so had to get up! Snack box sounds like a plan...

Ooh i might have a boiled egg Grin #easilypleased

Mmmm boiled egg and soldiers sounds amazing.

laurenamium · 17/10/2014 07:11

I just had coco pops Grin nothing like childish breakfast! DD had a nightmare last night. She was so worked up about it she was retching and screaming actual screams...she dreamt her balloon popped GrinGrin

splodge77 · 17/10/2014 07:12

I've been awake since 5 too with a rumble tummy but can't be arsed to get up & don't want to wake DS. Sympathies to you wil. Colds when preg suck big time. Xx

JuniDD · 17/10/2014 07:42

Hair strokes for wil.

I'm sat in my furry dressing gown with a blanket over me eating porridge. Lovely! Feeling quite chipper this morning, had tightenings every time I got up to wee in the night so today is all about ball bouncing and seeing if MrJ will take me for a walk (working from home). Let's get this party started! Wink

Minion · 17/10/2014 08:00

So this mythical pregnancy is full of costipation, is a load of arse biscuits?
I had maybe 3 weeks of it in the very beginning, then its been like the morning after a heavy night of boozing, every freaking day!
The lies!
The blatant lies!

Im worrying a bit grads, need a bit o' advice if you please indulge...
So, all Ive read is 'once you get pg youll not sleep, wont be able to sleep on front as bump will be huge etc etc'. But im not big, still. And i only get up once a night for a wee, baby stops kicking as soon as its bedtime, and im still sleeping on my front, with a long pillow tucked under bump so half on, half on side if you gets me.. Im stressing that once again somethings amiss.
i dont know why, baby kicks like a can can dancer. Right on cue every day at same time. Wakes up when I do etc, but no one else has had the same experience..
Is it because of the anterior placenta pushing baby into back do you think?

I dont mean this as a stealth boast, although if this carried on when s/he arrived then ill be over the moon, but at the moment I get the weird eye thing from people when they say 'you poor thing, you must be so uncomfy and slept badly, you look knackered' when in reality I look like shit cause i cant be arsed making myself look good for 8 hours in awindowless box! (no joke).. there are NO windows.

Minion · 17/10/2014 08:03

Balls, posted too soon.
gaggia has it cleared up yet? Are you seeing someone when home? That little one of yours is giving you the run around already x

scoob, ness, juni, how long left now? Are you all sorted?

Nessalina · 17/10/2014 08:11

Hmmm where are you up to Min? goes to check You're about 5 weeks behind me I believe!

Five weeks ago I was sleeping like a baby, no problem, I reckon it's only since I finished for mat leave (three weeks ago) that the sleeping issues have arisen. It's a combination of bigger baby + less activity on my part so less sleepy I think. And it's got even worse in the last week since he turned around coz now I've got feet at the top and he likes to go running at midnight. And I'm only peeing once a night, usually early morning when DH's alarm goes off, mainly coz I don't drink enough water I think...

In short, don't worry! Everyone is different! Your midwife will have created a beautiful bump growth chart dependent on your height and BMI, and if there was any concerns about bump size then she'd send you for a scan.

I do feel cheated that no one warned me about 9 month long digestion issues Hmm

I'm 37+3 today Shock
Actually officially cooked baby. I am SO ready for him to make an exit. The nursery is still full of junk and my hospital bag is not packed, but I don't care. He needs to head on out!!

Ooh Juni, you're nearly at due date! Hope those practise tightenings turn into real ones soon!!

OP posts:
JuniDD · 17/10/2014 08:18

Try not to worry minion, we're all so different it's no use comparing to what the books etc say. I think it's great your baby has such a clear pattern - my mws keep going on about the bloody kick pattern and we just don't have one which has been pretty difficult at times. Your sleeping position sounds pretty similar to mine and I'm freaking massive. But do speak to your midwife about your concerns, that's what they're there for. Flowers

It's actually one of my massive bugbears about pregnancy - there's a lot of "this will happen, that will happen" and we're all so different how can anyone say that! I'm pissed off about the lack of information about feeling knackered and useless all the way through. It's all "oh, you'll get your energy back at 12 weeks"...will I bollocks. Energy left the building some time ago.

My due date is Tuesday and we are all ready with everything, just need the labour to start now. Waiting for the latest cup of raspberry leaf tea to go down and then some crawling around on the floor & ball bouncing for me. Smile

Minion · 17/10/2014 08:20

You're an angel ness!
So it's normal? phew!
Thanks for puttingmy mind at rest, i'm sure i'll have something else to freak out about next week.
You're so close now! EEEK.
Are you getting the foot in the rib? Ow indeed! Little monkeys feel like its doing the riverdance upside down, quite a talent to tell you the truth haha!

Pisghetti · 17/10/2014 08:27

That's exciting Juni! Argh and Ness too with your officially cooked bun! Ps pack that bloody bag will ya - it'll sit there taunting you when you're feeling ready to go and baby is doing nowt but I really wouldn't rely on DH to get it all right.

I can't really say I've had constipation - more regular if anything. Only weird thing is that when I need to go, I need to go right now.

I would give you a hug Wil but I wouldn't get close enough so I'll pat you on the head too Smile

Got family coming to visit tomorrow but early morning I've booked some intimate grooming so swimming returns as an option without frightening children with my Chewbacca style nethers. DS is inordinately excited about some newly launched Lego so I'll be depositing him at the shop before I'm tended to. To be fair that's something no teenage boy should have to see of his mum Confused

Nessalina · 17/10/2014 08:32

You're so right Juni, there's so much bloody assumption with pregnancy, and I don't think I've had a single thing happen at the time I expected it to! Grin

Going for a nice walk later, hoping that'll get him thinking about moving... Ball bouncing also on the itinerary!

It's all well and good being 'term', but the thought of over 4 more weeks of this fills me with despair! Confused

Alright alright, I'll get the bag done... I might even go and make a start now!!

OP posts:
Nessalina · 17/10/2014 08:33

Min, I'm currently getting foot in rib, fist in hip, and head in fanjo. It's just SO much fun! Shock

OP posts:
FurryScoob · 17/10/2014 08:39

I'm 37 weeks tomorrow & still sleeping on my side lent on a pillow. Boobs stopped me sleeping on my front before bump did!

I agree with all of the above about pregnancy advice being a load of bollocks, I don't think I ever reached the glowing stage. Only shine I've had was greasy hair & skin but DP has had to admit I'm a lot louder farter than him & I can now snore so there are some positive even if there not the ones I heard of before pregnancy! Hmm

ZylaB · 17/10/2014 08:42

wil feel better with the cold, and everyone else's arses - start behaving!

juni get bouncing Grin

My sugars are all over the last day or two. Was at hospital on wed and they aren't worried, just keep telling me my requirements will change all the way through, but it's so stressful, I feel like I've got it all sorted, then my requirements change. Grrrrrrr. Ok rant over.

We're away on sat, looking forward to it. We've got a week in Canterbury so are doing a day at the seaside, a day in London going to see the poppies at the tower etc, a day in Canterbury, a day in Paris (!) and a day chilling in the hotel pool, looking forward to it, even though I'll be testing and adjusting all the time :(

Minion · 17/10/2014 08:45

Me too!
My botty burps will wake the dead! And the weird grunting I do when Ive leant on my throat so Cant breathe in the middle of the night. That, the greasy hair, the mega spots (which have now returned with a vengenace), crusty nips and generally shitness makes the husband so horny!
HA!
I keep saying ' sorry Im not in the mood', hes kind and says 'its ok, I understand' but I know he's thinking, 'thanks fuck for that, I wouldnt be able to find the holy grail through that 'fro anyhow'!
pis ridic regular here too, and yep, when Ive gota go, I gotsta go! Which is usually 2 minutes after ive hoisted myself back in bed after going for a wee...

cookielove · 17/10/2014 09:00

Sounds like some babies may be making an appearance soon :)

wilmabedrock · 17/10/2014 09:14

Thanks Viroids!

Ah we're all so glamourous.

*Min, I could still lie on my front and think I could last time pretty much to the end. Couldn't do it on a hard surface but on a squishy mattress I would manage. It just sounds like you're lucky with a lovely little bump. As soon as the baby arrives I bet you'll snap right back into your normal shape and we'll all be mega jealous Grin . I only pee once in the night too but just seem to have sleeping issues. I'm a pretty crap sleeper in general though.

Juni, this sounds exciting, I predict you aren't going to have to endure two weeks of overdue torture.

I'm still in bed. Mr Wil got up so I managed to fall back asleep for a bit. Properly ravenous now!

Nessalina · 17/10/2014 09:23

Feeling virtuous, just sorted out two boxes of donated baby clothes! Halo
Time for a cup of tea and a sit down now!

teejayem · 17/10/2014 09:36

All these imminent babies!!! so exciting!

I cracked and had mcdonalds breakfast :( I feel soiled, but strangely non-sick. I've also just opened a pack of festive Cranberry jaffa cakes.

Happy Friday lovely ladies!
