I've seen the group for May or June, but are there any other definite Junes yet?
Been getting faint positive lines for a few days but today have got a definite line, giving me a due date of around 6th June :)

Trying to stay cautiously optimistic at the moment as we had an MMC in May at 8 weeks.

So, who else is out there? :)

JennyOfOldstones · 13/10/2014 14:08

Welcome ginger!

Just booked a private scan for 26th Oct, will be 8+3 (hopefully)! The woman on the phone had the stupidest voice ever, I swear she must have been putting it on!

gingerbreadmam · 13/10/2014 14:20

Thanks everyone. Oooh i'm getting excited now being on here. Congrats again to everyone else on the thread.

madeleineinlondon · 13/10/2014 14:21

Thanks for the welcome everyone! So lovely to be able to talk about it here as I don't want to tell anyone in real life just yet.
The insomnia is grim, isn't it? I am also having the constant hungry / nauseous simultaneously thing which is confusing.
It's been 9 years since I was last pregnant and I'm sure I've edited it all to lovely fecund gorgeousness in my mind. I fear I am about to remember a few realities!

Jackiebrambles · 13/10/2014 14:34

Hello everyone! My sympathies on the insomnia, I was lucky and didn't get it in my first pregnancy so fingers crossed. I'm so tired these days from work and looking after a toddler I sleep like the dead. I won't be able to cope on no sleep!!

Are any of you using any pregnacy apps? I used one last time and I forget which one, it told you each week how the baby is developing etc.

notsoold · 13/10/2014 14:38

Madeline.....welcome!!! I am also 43!!!

cuphat · 13/10/2014 14:42

Congratulations to the newbies.

I've just found out that they don't do the booking in appointment till 10-11 weeks now (was at the 12 week scan for me last time but they changed it to 8 weeks for a while). I'm 6+5 so have a while to wait. I hope I get a scan date before then. I wish the midwife would confirm she's at least received my details from the receptionist.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 13/10/2014 14:47

I'm hungry.

TheDetective · 13/10/2014 14:58

I could eat my own hand right now I'm that hungry.

The hunger for me was a precursor to vomiting.

Which isn't good :(

Finished my nights now. I'm back to work on a day shift tomorrow Shock Shock Shock.

gingerbreadmam · 13/10/2014 15:00

I'm in the north east and have an eary bird appointment on Thursday. According to app im 5 wks but cb said 2-3 which informed them. All new to this so not sure if that is a booking in appointment or what, i can update on Thursday if that helps.

JennyOfOldstones · 13/10/2014 15:40

I have tried eating every 2 hours to keep the nausea away. Seems to be working so far but DP kindly informed me I would be 'enourmous' if I keep this up!

fortywinx · 13/10/2014 15:40

Congrats madeleine, Jackie and ginger! Nice to have some new people join the thread Grin

I had that confusion ginger. The CB tests give you the number of weeks from conception, but you'll be classed as an additional two weeks preg on top of that, so 4-5 weeks sounds right for a 2-3 week CB :)

I'm currently chugging ginger beer and ginger biscuits in an attempt to keep the nausea at bay. Cramps have died down from yesterday, but I still feel slightly travel sick/hungover most of the time. Bleurgh!

impatienceisavirtue · 13/10/2014 15:41

Hello!!

BFP yesterday - still can't believe it! Due June 23.

MrsBeeBeeBee · 13/10/2014 15:54

Lovely to see some new faces.

Sorry I've not been around much, just popping my head in to say hello.
Been really under the weather. Constant nausea doing my head in a bit!

Hope everyone's ok xx

gingerbreadmam · 13/10/2014 15:56

Thanks forty, feels more real when count it as further along. Hope your nausea doesnt hang around too long.

Conrats impatience!

jazzyjenbo · 13/10/2014 15:58

My tummy is killing, gripping pains, heartburn.
Went to pharmacy and the only thing i can buy over counter is gaviscon which i've taken and it has reduced the bloat abit but no toilet action.
