Any June mums to be yet?

I've seen the group for May or June, but are there any other definite Junes yet?
Been getting faint positive lines for a few days but today have got a definite line, giving me a due date of around 6th June :)

Trying to stay cautiously optimistic at the moment as we had an MMC in May at 8 weeks.

So, who else is out there? :)

bubalou which part of that is not feeling pregnant?? :) I don't at all which bothers me but I don't think I could have got through today at work feeling terrible on top of everything else either.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 08/10/2014 02:14

Hello 2am! I'm tired, can't you just bugger off and leave me alone.

I'm now 6 weeks and have known I'm pregnant for 2 weeks. The 2 weeks has gone so slowly but I'll have roughly triple that time until my 12 week scan - argh!

PerpetualStudent · 08/10/2014 07:22

Morning ladies!

Oh my goodness, tell me about it - time is going so slowly it's painful. Can't believe I've got 3 weeks until booking in & then another 3 till NHS scan! Still, going to confirm private early scan for next week today, so hopefully that will break up the time.

My thought process is totally slap-worthy at the minute too - am feeling increasingly grotty in the mornings, but then physical symptoms seem to fate throughout the day & so by mid-afternoon Im panicking!

Still - today we are pregnant!

PerpetualStudent · 08/10/2014 07:23

Fade not fate!

Phryn · 08/10/2014 07:40

The rain is so horrific out there that I'm considering curling up back in bed and not coming out for a couple of weeks... surely that would make the time go faster? Wink

bubalou · 08/10/2014 09:43

Hi all

Ok well definitely feeling preggo now as the morning sickness has hit me like a brick wall!

Felt horrendous this morning and then like a true lady I threw up in a hedge outside tesco and again in my kitchen sink!!Hmm

MrsExtraOrdinary · 08/10/2014 09:50

Oh buba a hedge in the rain, you poor love! Sad I'm going with the ginger tea which is remarkably good for the nausea. Hasn't really kicked in for me properly yet. But have a dreadful taste in my mouth and I'm definitely off certain food. Tried s proper cup of tea at the weekend. Yuck, far too thick.

JennyOfOldstones · 08/10/2014 09:54

Oh god bubalou that sounds awful! I have felt sick but not actually thrown up yet. 6 weeks tomorrow so there is still time!

I have an appointment with my new GP tomorrow apparently can't just go straight to the midwife at my surgery.

I thought I was being virtuous drinking herbal tea and just terrified myself googling all the ingredients which are not recommended in pregnancy! What other hot drinks are there?! Hot vimto maybe?

Chookford · 08/10/2014 11:04

Morning ladies

Im glad its not just be having trouble sleeping ( Of course I am outraged on your behalf at the lack of sleep) but its good to know I am having the same sort of symptoms as alot of you.. my time to wake up is 4am on the dot every morning then drift back off just before my alarm goes off! Sad

I need someone to hit me with a brick or something I poas again yesterday and I dont think the line is darker than last friday... this of course means its all going wrong.... or maybe its because they are cheap tests and are rubbish! God it was never this difficult first time round, miscarriage is an evil thing, robs all the innocent joy out of being pregnant again. Apart from the waking up and weeing lots not really having anything else, my boobs are a bit tender but that may be because I am poking them alot to make sure they are still sore Blush I am a lunatic.. I am not alone in doing that though right?!

babalou really sorry to hear about your tesco hedge fiasco but at least it wasnt inside tesco small mercies! Wink

Smugfearnleyshittingstool · 08/10/2014 12:13

I'm feeling very much the same here chookford, keep poking boobs to check soreness and ordered internet tests to pee in to check the line is getting darker! Irrational and will send me mad I'm sure! I've never wanted to feel sick so desperately either! Day off today so I've been checking out prams, despite having a garage full of them and only really using slings and wraps last time. I really wanted to buy baby socks or something whilst shopping today to make it feel real... I'm surely going mad!

Chookford · 08/10/2014 12:24

Hi smug

I honestly dont recognise myself since getting the bfp on friday.. I am normally really easy going and very rational! At the moment I am neither of those things!

I have all my baby items in the loft but it will be a long time before I am brave enough to get anything down... I am in the land of denial that this is happening, I know its a self preservation thing after last time but I honestly can't let myself believe I may get my baby at the end of all this at the moment which is so sad...

At least it is a comfort to know we are all going mad together! It will be like a friendly supportive asylum! Grin

htf2 · 08/10/2014 12:48

Same here -realising I am trying to poke boobs discreetly under my jacket! And would have bought another test yesterday (a digital one to hope it says 3 weeks) but left work too late for the pharmacy. Definitely going mad slowly ...6 weeks tomorrow.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 08/10/2014 12:58

Hello! Please can I join you? Just got a bfp this morning. Feeling very shocked and scared! First month of ttc and have really prepared myself for the fact that it could happen so fast.

Also got really drink at the weekend so feeling terribly guilty now.

Can't remember anything about pregnancy. What do I do now? Call the doctor? Stop eating nice cheese? Start eating for two? I've forgotten everything.

Oh I think edd will be about 16th June and I have one 2 year old dd already. I stayed friends with a lot of the ladies from my group on her last time so I look forward to making some new ones here.

Going to have a read back now!

Chookford · 08/10/2014 13:00

htf2

I had the 3+ on a digi on friday but I am terrified to do another just incase its gone down or something, I am using just cheap internet ones at the moment but I need to step away as they are making me worse! But I am also trying to be discreet in the office giving my boobs a good poke/squeeze!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 08/10/2014 13:00

Is there some sort of stats list so I can learn who you all are? nicknames, ages, due dates, other dc, that sort of thing?

Smugfearnleyshittingstool · 08/10/2014 13:01

Thanks, a friendly supportive asylum is exactly what i need! I'm out for Chinese with fronds tonight, dp would prefer that I didn't mention anything but considering that I'd definitely tell them if something went wrong then I think it's ok to share our news tonight, they will go mad and think we're crazy to be doing the baby thing all over but equally excited I'm sure. I've also given up my daily can of coke mid afternoon, as I don't drink tea or coffee it's a pick me up that I now realise is a huge habit as I'm desperate for one!
got to be strong though as I grow huge babies and that doesn't help!

Smugfearnleyshittingstool · 08/10/2014 13:06

I've also made some cupcakes to take along....

Chookford · 08/10/2014 13:12

wow smug

they look delicious! god I want a cake now.... Smile
how many kids do you have and how big were they? I have told my mum and my sisters and dh parents and thats it until we get a bit further along as incase anything does happen I will need support from those.

Hi guy welcome

congrats on the bfp, first month too awesome! with regards to what to do, call you gp surgery and get it registered but until you see a midwife that will be all they do, no eating soft cheese, raw eggs, pate, no wine Sad and eat if you need too i have waves of nausea that is eased by food but its not too bad at the moment! I dont think we do have a stats list...but may be good to start one? What does everyone think?

Aha thanks sunbathing I missed that!!!

I also had a sling with my dd I loved it, felt so lovely to have her snuggled against me the only reason I had to stop is because she got very heavy quickly and I am small (5'2) so my back could not cope but I missed not having her so close to me after she went in the pram!
