WutheringFrights · 09/10/2014 12:46

Popped back into say I am definitely out now. Scan this morning showed 5-6 weeks with no pulse/heartbeat. I'm glad its conclusive as I knew in my heart we had lost the little bean. DH has taken day off to look after our munchkins as I need sleep! Much love and luck to you all x

BB01 · 09/10/2014 12:51

Oh no. So sorry to hear that Wuthering

piglet81 · 09/10/2014 13:19

Really sorry to hear that, Wuthering. Take care of yourself.

fififolle · 09/10/2014 13:38

Foetushost · 09/10/2014 14:22

I'm sorry to hear that Wuthering

I have bled a few times since Tuesday. A teaspoon at a time with no pain but bright red. I'm fearing the worst now.

Ameilius · 09/10/2014 15:34

So sorry to hear that wuthering, look after yourself.

Have you rung the EPU/a midwife feotus? Even if you fear the worst you should get it checked out.. Finger crossed and hoping for the best for you!

bradders85 · 09/10/2014 16:05

Very sorry to hear your news withering, thinking of you xxx

bradders85 · 09/10/2014 16:06

KittyVonCatsington · 09/10/2014 17:16

Gutted for you Wuthering Sad Sending you lots of love and hugs Thanks

I agree, phone your midwife or GP or nearest EPU clinic foetus. Let us know how you get on xx

Snooky17 · 09/10/2014 17:49

Sorry to hear your sad news **Wuthering xx

jazzyjenbo · 09/10/2014 19:02

Sending you lots of hugs wuthering, take care of yourself.

I have a+ blood and like i said earlier very mixed labours... First long and had lots of different medical interventions and emergencies (no c/s but i ended up in surgery after) then second was faster and unmedicated but i had stitches. I really can't see how blood type would affect labour, think the thread was based on an old wives tale!

Are any if you into spiritualists? I went to a spiritualist night at my friends on tue and its the first time i have ever had my cards read, the results were facinating.

Foetushost · 09/10/2014 19:27

I know this sounds silly but I cannot deal with this on my own. I'm waiting for DP to be back from work so that we can go together.

What did your cards say jazzy? I'm curious. Smile

KittyVonCatsington · 09/10/2014 19:46

You are not silly foetus - I asked DH to take the morning off work for me on Monday (we are both teachers and is really really hard to get time off, especially when you are trying to hide the reasons!)

I hope your DH gets home soon and helps you to feel better, love. Till then, have some decaf Brew and Cake with us xx

jazzyjenbo · 09/10/2014 19:56

It was very odd.. I picked some cards at random and they were ALL 'pregnancy' couples related!! .. The forth card was pregnancy, i had lovers, couples, children cards!!.. When looking they were all pink!.. There was also an angel and a baby card.
The first thing she said was your pregnant and everything will be fine and i can tell u what you are going to have!!... She knew i had an angel baby, that my son is a handful and loves the fire brigade and that my nana is in a care home and in her 90's!
She said it would be a girl! So lets see if her predictions come true x

aberjen · 09/10/2014 20:02

So sorry to hear your news wuthering. Rest up Flowers

Fingers crossed for you foetus, completely natural to want some moral support.

sunshine I didn't know my blood group until pg with DD. Your mw will take bloods at booking appointment to check levels of various things and to find your blood group.

I'm O+ and labour with DD was not straightforward but not horrific either - I had an epidural, and ultimately had forceps, episiotomy and tearing, but my enduring memory is of it being a very positive experience overall. 9 h active labour, 21 h from first twinge to baby Smile

Titsalinabumsquash · 09/10/2014 20:03

I was raised reading the cards every day by my Mum, I've never really pondered the concept of if it's "real" or not it was just something we did together every night before bed, I still have her angel cards and tarot although I've not read them since For a few years now, I turned to them a few times when I was going through a very bad patch but I still keep them in my fondest memories of her. Smile

Foetus, I really hope you get some support from your DH when he gets home and you get some reassurance from somewhere soon. Thanks

Titsalinabumsquash · 09/10/2014 20:04

I should say I'm A- and I've had horrendous pregnancies but the actual labour and birth bit was very easy even if I didn't cotton on to the fact it was happening until the end Wink

Turquoisetamborine · 09/10/2014 20:19

So sorry Wuthering. I was hoping for a better outcome for you. Foetus, I hope you are being checked out and they find good news. We are all here for you.

I think the blood group thing is a load of crap. I'm O neg and am just glad it's the most common blood group if I ever needed a transfusion.

I've been for a lovely Italian tonight with my mam and son and wore the same trousers I wore last Thursday (for an Indian, greedy bitch!!) and I am literally bursting out of them. They fitted fine last Thursday. I can't believe how much I've grown in a week. I'm 9 weeks today. Is anyone else showing yet? I look like a sack of potatoes at work, normally I'm so smart but I'm having to wear my old size 14 trousers with baggy jumpers. I look a clip!

Kyz · 09/10/2014 20:20

Evening all :)

So sorry wuthering please look after yourself Flowers

Symptoms have eased this evening, which is causing me a worry, but i'm sure it's nothing and I should probably be grateful for the break in nausea!

oh gosh tits hope you find another girls name you like! my booking in appt is the same day as your 12 week scan, fx time flies eh!

I've got lists for both girl and boy names, but won't be anywhere near choosing just yet, I have clear faves but me and dp will go through them several times i'm sure

hope everything is ok foetus

interesting stuff jazzy can't wait to see if she's right now!

fififolle · 09/10/2014 20:56

Foetushost sorry to hear that you're having a stressful time. I had a small bleed earlier this week and then some light, old bold for the next few days. I'm 10 weeks. I spoke to the mw earlier who said not to worry at all and that it was quite common and is likely to be linked to further implantation.
I found the following on another site:
When the docs talk about this kind of implantation bleeding later on in pregnanc (rather than the type that occurs pre-af) they are referring to implantation of the placenta. The placenta grows & stretches out loads of little finger like projections into the wall of the uterus & this can cause similar bleeding to the fertilised egg settling into the lining.
HTH Flowers

GinIsCalling · 09/10/2014 22:13

So sorry to hear that wuthering.

foetus that sounds like a good plan to me, if ever you need support it's at a time like this, and I'm sure you husband is also worried and wants to be there. Hope it's good news for you.

Fluffeh · 10/10/2014 07:09

I'm so sorry wuthering xx

Foetus I hope you and dh had good news at the epu/ooh x

Jazzy I read tarot cards, not for money or anything but I've been doing it for years for friends of friends who I don't know and have always had positive feedback. A few years ago I regularly attended a spiritualist church but since getting pregnant with DD I was too tired in the evenings and let it slide. But if your interested in that too if really recommend going along as it's always welcoming and usually fun.

I am going to call my GP on Monday if I still haven't heard from a mw. I'm 9 weeks on Monday and I'm pretty sure I should have been booked in by then.
Maybe they are just using my details from last time? I mean surely someone knows I exist as I have my dating scan appointment through?
Has anyone else not got their booking appointment yet?
