Hello

Having had 5 mcs and 1 DD I am not feeling very hopeful (juest realistic) even though I am doing different things than before...

4w today and on cyclogest pessaries since CD21...

Maybe we could have a separate thread to the biiiig one so we don't scare the others with our (my) negativity...

Welcome

TinyTear, 40, 1 DD, 5mcs, due in April but don't want to know the exact day...

Good luck shetland too, I'd forgotten you'd brought your scan forward to today.

Fingers crossed rightly for you both xx

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 25/09/2014 11:19

Hope your scans go ok ladies x

jbee1979 · 25/09/2014 11:41

Good luck Shetland and Stuntman Smile

I rang the hospital today because I haven't got my letter through about booking appointment or 12 week scan.

I'm going to booking on Tues 7th October 18.45 and 12 wk scan on Fri 31st October at 10 am.

Two weeks until DH sees baby for the first time in real life. I'm feeling positive today Grin

I was starting to worry they'd forgotten about me.

TinyTear · 25/09/2014 11:44

18h45! wow that is late!

I prefer to have appointments in the morning, hate waiting...

next week my scan is at 4h30 and i won't focus all day!

Mine is at 1.30 - I am a nervous wreck and very glad I brought it forward.
stuntman I'll be checking for updates...

LondonSuperTrooper · 25/09/2014 12:03

Any news Stuntman?

Shetland, not long to go, good luck!

Tiny, I've got my harmony test next week, also at 4.30pm!

I've got a lot of scans coming up in the next two weeks, a grand total of 4! If beanie hangs on and makes it till my 12 week scan, What am I going to do for reassurance after that?

Also, I've started slimming world today - I used to be a member so I'm just trying to loosely follow the plan in the hope of not putting massive amount of weight like I did with DS (8 years ago & haven't lost my baby weight Blush. In fact I'm actually 2 stones heavier now)

LIG I'm already (BMI is around 34) so putting on 5lbs at week 9 is a lot for me. Apparently for those with BMI over 30, we shouldn't gain weight at all in the first trimester.

TinyTear · 25/09/2014 12:26

London, I'm there Friday 2nd

Sorry DS3 was playing up as we spent ages waiting for the scan due to getting there early and the clinic running late. One little jelly bean measuring 8+1 (I'm 8+3 but have a 29.5 day cycle yes really! so that's spot on) and the heartbeat was flickering away. Today I am still pregnant. Now how to tell DH...

TinyTear · 25/09/2014 12:33

Hooray!! Great news Grin

Fantastic news stuntman! Really pleased for you.

Only an hour to go shetland try to keep busy and don't get there too early if you can help it.

tiny I'm with you on the morning appointments. I dread to think the state I would get myself in having to wait until the afternoon.

Stuntman · 25/09/2014 12:44

Baby brain there! I'm 9+3! Otherwise the baby would be due in May.

LondonSuperTrooper · 25/09/2014 13:12

Super news Stuntman :)

Tiny I'm at the FMC on Thursday 2 Oct.

TinyTear · 25/09/2014 13:24

Ah so it's friday 3rd for me... i know it's friday but was confusing the date

LondonSuperTrooper · 25/09/2014 13:48

Any news Shetland?

Shetland · 25/09/2014 14:37

Great news stuntman Grin

And it's a Grin from me too. Moving baby, complete with heart beat. Measuring at 10+2 which is about right.

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 25/09/2014 14:45

Woo hoo shetland! Great news. Wow could you really see the little thing move?!

Am I the next scan coming up now?

TinyTear · 25/09/2014 15:01

Hooray Shetland! it's like a jelly baby isn't it?

OP posts:
LIG1979 · 25/09/2014 15:18

Great news stuntman and Shetland. Glad you both got good news Grin

Really struggling at work today. Dd is teething and was awake in the night. She wasn't awake much but I couldn't get back to sleep. Feel quite sick today. Luckily I am not too heavy on meetings today so am sitting at my desk doing easy stuff and trying to keep out of trouble.

Shetland · 25/09/2014 16:00

It did look like a jelly baby tinytear - good description.
Yes, I could see it moving - not an awful lot but still nice to see :)

Keep your head down LIG Hopefully you'll get better sleep tonight.

LittleBairn · 25/09/2014 19:24

Feeling Sad feel crampy and passed some brown blood. I had a large red bleed 10 days ago and everything was fine. I really don't enjoy pregnancy at all anymore just as I start to relax my body reminds me that its incompetent when pregnant.

TinyTear · 25/09/2014 19:46

Aw little when is your next scan?

OP posts:
LondonSuperTrooper · 25/09/2014 19:52

Yay Shetland! :)

Little, I'm really sorry. Can you ring the EPU tomorrow to try & get a scan and/or a blood test?
