Brilliant chat! Congrats!

KeeperOfTheZoo · 29/07/2014 21:27

chat didn't I say there has to be at least one set of twins on this thread somewhere! Congratulations! Grin

I had my first mw appointment today so it's a bit more real now I have my green notes! Grin

MW was going to send the paperwork off to the hospital today so now I just have to wait for them to write to me with an appointment for booking.

persepolis123 · 29/07/2014 21:30

Congratulations chat. What amazing news! I'm betting they are not the only set of twins on the thread seeing how many of us there are.

ZebraZeebra · 29/07/2014 21:34

Bloody hell chat!!! Congratulations!

I'm going to get that early scan after all - antenatal clinic called me today and told me to ask GP to refer me to for a dating scan ASAP. I feel more scared about this than not having one. Because of the early MC, I don't know...I'd almost live in ignorance...

Was tempted to do another HPT today even though I'm nearly 8 weeks.

northdownmummy · 29/07/2014 21:56

chat congratulations x2
Very kind of you to take the hit an stack the odds in favour for the rest of us for singletons Wink

teaandbiscuitsforme · 29/07/2014 22:09

Wow, congrats Chat!!

NotAQueef · 29/07/2014 22:31

Wow congratulations chat
I am pretty sure there is one other person who already found out they're having twins on here a week or so ago. Cn't remember who though.
Am liking the fact that this means my odds of having 2 in there have just reduced Grin

PickledPorcupine · 29/07/2014 22:35

There's definitely 2 sets of twins on here now! (Was it scenic?) Congrats chat!

PickledPorcupine · 29/07/2014 22:44

I'm now answering my own question! It was scenic. I wonder if there'll be any more!

theonewiththenoisychild · 29/07/2014 22:46

wow chat congrats Ã?2
im not sure how my oh would react if i came out of my scan with news of double trouble. as its taken him 4 years to finally want ONE last noisychild haha

theonewiththenoisychild · 29/07/2014 22:47

x2 my phone changed the symbol Hmm

MrsAmelia · 29/07/2014 22:56

Congratulations Chat x2!!!! Wonderful news!!

fishfingerSarnies · 29/07/2014 23:19

Is their a history of twins in your family chat? Have you got other kids? How exciting.

Hey zebra try not to worry about your early scan, though you could refuse it if you really wanted to, I'm sure it will make you feel good if you see a little heartbeat.

I'm feeling so sick still though have eaten at least today, and not blacked out so really it's been a good day. Can't believe how debilitated I am by this morning sickness it wasn't like this last time. Have barely moved off the sofa and feel weak and dizzy when I do. Thank god I don't work and peppa pig exists that's all I can say! My mum's coming to stay for a while to help as my dh going to be very busy at work.

I just moan at you all, sorry. Wishing every one an insomnia free night.

ChristinaYang · 29/07/2014 23:34

Charlie so sorry! Fingers crossed for you, you never know. Take care of yourself xx

Chat - big congrats I'm sure you're very shocked! I'd love twins Smile. Would be crazy but great.

AFM I'm 5+2 now and just this evening feel very pregnant with the bloat and that heavy feeling everywhere (only way I can describe it). Going to make an appt for the GP tomorrow for next week, and I might pluck up the courage between now and then to ask for an early scan.

Hope the sickness passes for all those suffering bad x

Rainbow555 · 30/07/2014 00:31

Oh chat so many of us seem to have constant nausea.... Perhaps there Wil be more twins! But with two lots already the odds are getting smaller!

Feel free to moan fish sorry to hear you are so ill, did doc give you anything for it?

I am at work and struggling just feel so sick!!

woodlandwanderwoman · 30/07/2014 01:36

Urghhhh... I swear it must have been a man who called this "morning" sickness. Limiting the term to morning totally plays down how horrendous and constant this can be

It's 1.30am and after a totally debilitating day I have woken up every 15 minutes feeling so sick.

Congrats on the twins chat, amazing. You must have had even worse symptoms than us!! Excited to hear how you get on.

Hope you all get a good nights rest xx

woodlandwanderwoman · 30/07/2014 01:40

Thoughts to you Charlie, so sorry to read your news

smokeandglitter · 30/07/2014 06:25

Congrats chat! How very exciting!

I've got my first scan today. Very nervous, just hoping all goes to plan.

notoasthere · 30/07/2014 06:27

Morning all!

Got booked in yesterday - all fine, in and out in 20 minutes since I refused bloods/getting weighed, and the mw didn't think I'd have any problem asserting myself to get my elcs booked (erm, I'm going to take that as a compliment Wink ) when I see the consultant at 22-25 weeks. Otherwise I'm all straightforward and just have to wait for a scan referral

But I'm 8 weeks today and just 3 more 'sleeps' till our early scan - thankfully it's at 920 so no hanging about in the morning. MIL coming to look after ds then I have a weekend of (sober) 30th birthday celebrations to look forward too!

Oh Charlie I'm so sorry to hear that. It's a horrible thing to go through - hang in there.

Congratulations to all those with happy scan results and doubly to Chat !

It's the middle of Winter here, 3 in the afternoon and it's currently 23 degrees! I think I better start looking into the maternity swimwear sooner rather than later! We're just about to start building a house too, so it looks like I'm in for a seriously busy year!!

PickledPorcupine · 30/07/2014 08:02

Sorry if I should know this but where are you surf? I'm assuming Australia?

woodlandwanderwoman · 30/07/2014 08:05

Good luck smoke! We will know soon if you'll be joining the twin stats (or not)Wink

Toast glad the booking appt went well, why did you refuse the blood tests (sorry if it's up thread and I've missed it)

Struggling to even keep water down here today but I think having breakfast has helped, it's this weird combination of can't be too hungry but can't really eat much.

smokeandglitter · 30/07/2014 08:07

Thanks notoast. Glad everything went well and will be thinking of you for your early scan.

Surfsup1 · 30/07/2014 08:08

Yes, Pickled, I'm in Sydney.

I'm glad you asked that Woodland - I was wondering that too. Was it just to save time??
