Huge sympathy to all those feeling ill. I feel like a fraud because I feel normal aside from the sore boobs.

Keeper I did another test yesterday too. Not sure why!

Today has been eventful for me. Inset day at work so I've now officially got 5weeks off! Then I had my gp appointment, and found out that you self refer here. Went to reception to book, and ended up with a midwife appointment 19 minutes later. That was fine. I should get notes in the post and have my booking appointment at 10 weeks. The midwife gave me the number for the EPAU as I've been having some spotting. I rang as soon as I got home and they are going to scan me at 8 weeks.

Finally feel like I'm going somewhere!

Gentle, nausea soothing hugs to those really suffering.

I had a few knowing glances from the mum's at playgroup today, my bloat is uncontrollable and likes to display itself at every opportunity! Need some new clothes already!

Have the next three weekends off work - can't wait! No plans for tomorrow at all, will see where the weather takes us!

I had to undo my trousers at work today and safety pin the zip halfway up. Luckily I wear big pyjama type clothes (army
Combats), so can get away with it as we wear our shirts untucked.

Also all my 'I feel great' nonsense was just that. Have had an awful Afternoon. Feel sick again. And exhausted. Nap time for me. Need to eat something as that's why I feel sick but absolutely nothing appeals.

persepolis123 · 25/07/2014 17:11

coastergirl don't feel bad. You are just one of the lucky ones!

DP and DS are at my parents and I have to go and pick them up when I finish work. It means I'll have to sit there a while and chat when all I want to do is go home and climb into bed. I'm completely shattered and it's difficult to hide it.

I think we will probably tell my parents soon. We would want their support if anything went wrong and last time they only found out when I rushed to a&e. It would be good if they could find out in more pleasant circumstances this time.

fishfingerSarnies · 25/07/2014 17:45

Fewph... Finally caught up its taken me 2 days!
My no symptoms seems to be going, constantly feeling queezy now and boobs agony. Enjoying the reassurance after some spotting last week and no symptoms.

Lovely to here about every ones early scans and things getting booked in etc. I haven't done anything about it yet. Really hate my Gas and can't decide if I should go back to the same hospital (better the devil you know?) even though I hated it. It's the closest one but I had a bit of a rubbish time last time. Need to work out where and how to self refer but I've been too lazy 2nd time round I can't get myself going. Any one else not feeling like an eager beaver?
Any one else in North London? If so what hospitals people using?

Hope everyone stops feeling queezy soon (just enough to feel better but not enough to worry!)

Sorry about the essay!

Just realised when I joined mn a couple months ago, I obv had to choose username, so the M27 stands for Michelle27, I'm so bloody stupid, I'm nearly 29! Ha ha I shared this for no other reason than because it made me laugh!Grin

Takes ages to catch up on all the messages!!

I'll be noting down all the ideas for keeping nausea away, although at the minute I'm just feeling a little dizzy and tired.

From what I've read quite a few people have had early scans? Have they been private? I'm finding my biggest 'symptom' at the minute is just worry and being emotional! Need to stop reading all the first trimester horror stories!

m33r · 25/07/2014 18:12

keeper coaster I am also symptomless apart from a little nausea. I'm not even sure how tired I am.... Am 6weeks today. Anyway, wanted to confess I did another a diggie. It still said 2-3 weeks so I now need to buy another one to see if it will give me 3+ weeks. Not sure what my plan is if it doesn't!!

Since my edd is 20/3 I might be a bit early on symptoms. Can I ask when you guys all got sickness or real tiredness?

m33r · 25/07/2014 18:15

mario how was the scan?

PintOfTea · 25/07/2014 18:20

Hi all. I've joined the queasy gang today, feel rubbish Sad

I've told my parents today which was nice, they've had a bit of a rough week so was nice to put a smile on their faces.

Also, I've found out I'm pretty anaemic so will be necking the iron tablets for a while. Levels were slightly low but not concerning in Jan, but doc wanted to check levels again. Results back next day (!) and apparenly are 2.9. I think that's pretty low but I am surprised because I've been really anaemic before 5-6 years ago and was really poorly but have felt fine recently. Repeat test in 2 months. I don't know what caused it, maybe the mmc/erpc? Surprised they don't check these things if there's a risk. I'll discuss further with the midwife when I book in, whenever that will be...

Safra72 · 25/07/2014 18:36

keeper
I'd say no, get to the end then say - oh you asked about accidents and I clean forgot etc (blame baby brain) as other co will be paying it should make no difference to your premium but this makes sure!!

NotAQueef · 25/07/2014 18:38

Shock pint considering 12 is normal and they weren't happy when I went down to 9.3 after pph during labour last time. 2.9!!! you must feel so bad. I already feel pretty breathless so suspect i need to up my iron. I'll get some spatone tomorrow so much better than horrid iron tablets

fishfingerSarnies · 25/07/2014 18:46

M33r I really wouldn't drive yourself mad doing more tests. Your pregnant that's all that matters! My symptoms only just started the past day or so and I'm about 6 weeks(edd23). It's very early really in the scheme of things... Though I was forcing myself not to worry about lack of symptoms I was very happy to be hugging the toilet this morning. Though plenty of people have very few symptoms for ages and are perfectly healthy.

m33r · 25/07/2014 18:47

Thanks fish. X

smokeandglitter · 25/07/2014 19:01

My first (early) scan is wednesday 30th, so the coming wednesday! Really excited! Mario how did yours go?

M33r I wouldn't do any more tests. I've avoided it because I think I would become obsessive and it wouldn't be healthy. I'm not getting a lot of symptoms either. Though boobs are getting more sore than before.

Had the most hectic day working so haven't been able to update the list with stats. Excited and nervous for my scan!

PintOfTea · 25/07/2014 19:11

That's the thing NotAQueef, I don't really feel bad. It was the receptionist I spoke to, I'm wondering if the results were misread- though it def said 2.9 on the note she had. When I was v low before, I ended up in a&e I was passing out all over the place, I can't remember but think I was 5or6. Doc mentioned thallassemia traits on previous blood tests but backtracked once I questioned why it wasn't mentioned in my 1st pg and I told him I had no non-british ancestors as far as I know. He said if my iron was lower now, it would discount that anyway and point to simple anaemia... Maybe I'll request a call from him to explain properly what made him day that, confirm my iron level is correct and to explain how it could've got like that. Fun and games eh.

theonewiththenoisychild · 25/07/2014 19:38

i feel like im hungry all the time atm. anyone else?

smokeandglitter · 25/07/2014 19:47

theone I am definitely hungrier than normal!

kettlepot · 25/07/2014 19:58

pint it's probably the iron store levels which are 2.9 (I think mine are/were 2.6 a few weeks ago - and I felt perfectly fine!) The heamoglobin levels are the ones which the "12 = normal" scale applies to (sometimes it's 15 that's normal, depending on which scale they use).

Hope that helps - not sure I've explained it very well! Afaik, it's near impossible for your hb levels to even get that low. I had a hb level of 6.4 about ten years ago and was told that a blood transfusion would be on the cards if iron pills didn't help - 5/6 is about as low as it gets!

mariomadmum · 25/07/2014 20:02

ok so I had my scan, they could see a sac but not much else, they said its probably too early but the sac looks normal? I have to go back on the 4th. hopefully will see more. so not really help set my mind at rest lol.

nihatsgirl · 25/07/2014 20:04

Happy to announce that I am a member of this club. EDD 23 March. Which happens to be hubby's birthday. Found out on Wednesday that my sister who is just 1 year younger is due on the 21 March. I am one super excited girl.
This is my 3rd baby, and they are 4 years apart. First time ever, I have no nausea whilst pregnant

PintOfTea · 25/07/2014 20:17

Thank you kettle that makes perfect sense. [Smile] She obviously only read one result to me, I'll call back in the morning to clarify. Looks like I've got a bit longer to live after all!

Welcome and congrats nihatsgirl

M27J5M · 25/07/2014 20:34

That's a shame that's it's not helped put your mind at ease mario :( try and keep positive, I'm sure all will be fine when you go back on the 4th! Big hugs sweetie

M27J5M · 25/07/2014 20:35

Yes the one I am defo hungry all the time, can't stop eating! Constantly nibbling, I eat a lot at the best of times but a few people have commented on how bad I've been recently lol
