cookielove · 13/07/2014 19:23

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 10th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

There is a stats thread here but its a zombie thread so enter at your own risk....... eeeeek

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 26th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, Pm me!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

Oh no Zyla!! lol... A couple of ladies on the due in Jan Fred had a lot of explody arse too. Thankfully I was never exposed to such delights! Hope it buggers off soon... duvet day for you Smile

Just rang my boss with my pathetic shaky voice. Told him I was just having anxiety attacks about the baby and the cat. He was pretty understanding so I'm glad I didn't lie and have a "migraine" like usual!!

RPopz · 28/07/2014 09:14

Are you wanting the Harmony? It's expensive isn't it. Are you just inpatient to know the sex?? Wink

ZylaB · 28/07/2014 09:23

We are wanting it, it's not really about the sex, I'm just so paranoid that anything that can goes wrong seems to go wrong for me, I have enough other things to deal with with the diabetes, and DH is trying to help reassure me before 12 week scan, he knows if the nuchal test needs further investigating I probably wouldn't cope with not knowing, so we're gonna do it for peace of mind hopefully.

RPopz · 28/07/2014 09:25

Ah fair enough. Finding out the sex will just be an added bonus I guess Wink

ZylaB · 28/07/2014 09:32

Yeah :)
DH is ringing them today, think we've got to go to Leeds when I'm 10 weeks.

I love Netflix!

Pisghetti · 28/07/2014 09:49

Sorry to hear about the rubbish weekend Popz. Hope a rest today helps.

I was very nearly a member of the JSing duvet day club this morning. To be fair, if I felt like I did yesterday, I would definitely be in. Feeling rubbish on a weekend day SUCKS. If my breakfast reappears like it is threatening to, I'm off.

RPopz · 28/07/2014 09:56

Do it Pis! I soldiered on through the ms and bone crushing tiredness phase and worked everyday. Wish I'd milked it a bit more now, esp since the other pg girl at work is being so tragic about everything!!

wilmabedrock · 28/07/2014 09:59

Hope everyone feels better soon. I'm not too bad at the moment famous last words. Quite looking forward to today. Sun is shining and off to the games later.

Don't let the MIL stress you out Popz
Have a lovely restful day.

HungryHorace · 28/07/2014 11:09

I can't find anything I want to watch on Netflix. :-/ Any recommendations? (Concentration isn't great, so nothing I have to really think about!).

Sorry for the unwell. It's so much worse when pregnant too, isn't it? It's hard work without extra added 'bonus' illness.

Enjoy the games, Wil. :-)

DS is doing well. Finally slept in the bednest last night so I got to sleep in bed too for the first time since coming home! Yay.

ZylaB · 28/07/2014 11:14

I've only just discovered call the midwife and orange is the new black, I'm so behind :)

ZylaB · 28/07/2014 11:33

Glad Seth is doing well horace :)

JuniDD · 28/07/2014 11:34

There are some good documentaries on there Horace. I loves First Position about kids ballet. I tend to start watching loads of stuff then give up if it's crap. Also Modern Family got me through the first tri!

Yes to more time off. Out yourself first!

Athletics again tonight. Same as wil I think. Wearing a blue dress with white birds, look out for me Grin Wink

JuniDD · 28/07/2014 11:35

Missed that, good sleeping Tiny Horace Smile

ChatEnOeuf · 28/07/2014 12:29

Good work little Horace!

Pis take the duvet day - I'm there right now. Guilt-free for me, my 'other half' is on for our nights this week, I get the pleasure next week. One of my colleagues battled through some really rough shifts with sickness, finally broke down and told me when she couldn't go on any longer. I gave her a (reasonably) gentle telling off for not putting herself first. She's been admitted since with hyperemesis, the poor love.

No time for NetFlix here - cricket and commonwealth games to keep me occupied as well as about 18 hours of celebrity masterchef that I promised DH we could watch together. Quite when I don't know.

Minion · 28/07/2014 12:37

Hola chicas.
Explosive arses? Wait, wait can I join? I'll be the senior Vice President. Got the bog roll friction burns and everything.
Sorry about the MS girls, I'd like to say it stops in the 2nd tri... Humph.
Have had to come home from work to have an emergency docs appointment this arvo, have this awful cough which won't clear and can't take anything for it, boooo. Hopefully docs will take pity on a fat sweaty waddling mess with spots and greasy hair (uh, where is this blooming happening?)
The husband felt the baby the other night, very exciting! Feels a bit more real now tbh, now he's 'in on it'.

Hope the commonwealth games were awesome but didn't knock you out kid x

RPopz · 28/07/2014 13:48

Aw that's lovely Min Smile - baby moving not explody arse Wink

We don't have Netflix... I'm having an obem marathon so I can bawl at that instead!!

RPopz · 28/07/2014 13:51

Why does EVERYONE on Obem give birth on their backs??

JuniDD · 28/07/2014 14:04

I wondered that. Wonder if they're all delivery suite instead of MLU?

ChatEnOeuf · 28/07/2014 14:23

Probably reflects life in an obstetric unit - I have seen a few deliver in other positions but the majority end up on the bed. Not sure if Bristol have a MLU - I know only one of our local hospitals do. Having said that, I was consultant-led last time, on delivery suite and still achieved a kneeling up delivery with just a MW so it can be done!

ZylaB · 28/07/2014 14:46

Ooh, DH has booked my blood test. Apparently having nifty test not harmony but they do the same thing and the nifty has slightly better DNA detection rate or something. Got scan and blood test 2 weeks today when I'm just 10 weeks!

RPopz · 28/07/2014 15:02

Sheffield has a nice MLU so I'm hoping to go there and have a nice natural birth.... famous last words Wink Epidurals put the fear of bejeezus into me.

Very organised of him Zyla!

JuniDD · 28/07/2014 15:25

My Bristol hospital has a MLU, though it's only a year old. Need to book a tour now I think of it...

ZylaB · 28/07/2014 15:33

I won't be allowed in a MLU I don't think. Mind you, at least I've got it straight in my head it'll be hospital, I won't be surprised :)

ZylaB · 28/07/2014 15:56

It's nice, I get an extra scan before my 12 week one :)

Pisghetti · 28/07/2014 16:22

My local health board has two MLU including one about ten minutes away from me. I haven't done the tours yet but my friend has and highly recommends the one near me as it is much less 'hospitally' (double beds, no set visiting times, equipment behind curtains etc) I was induced with DS (41+6 - the little shit would not budge!) but otherwise straightforward so I should be allowed to go there. My poor friend has a fight on her hands as her first birth was assisted and premature. However both factors were as a result of an accident, not of a tendency towards difficult births. The MLU is fighting her corner too so fx.

Anyway breakfast stayed in (damn!) and lunch followed suit so I'm only now finishing up at work to go home and hug my duvet. I'll need to buy some new trousers on the way though as I have properly busted the zip on these now (strategically placed handbag until then!). I also have an urge for mashed potatoes. This will not help any of my other zips.
