Good morning ladies Smile
Just wanted to say good luck to all who have scans over the next couple of days, we are off to the caravan today so not sure I'll get a signal to see the updates by I'll try my damned hardest. Hope you all have a lovely weekend. Catch up on Monday Smile

fancyacupoftea · 19/06/2014 08:16

Thanks Linda! Have a lovely time away and fingers crossed you get good weather!

MundayCakes85 · 19/06/2014 08:47

Fancy I think it's called colestrom (sp?) it's what comes before milk and it's very odd. Boobs are now a no go for DH Blush

fancyacupoftea · 19/06/2014 08:55

Ha my DH just read that over my shoulder and he finds it both hilarious and terrifying

fancyacupoftea · 19/06/2014 08:55

NOSEY GIT

MundayCakes85 · 19/06/2014 08:58

Hehe!
Right I'm off to bed now, sorry for scaring your DH!

Threnody · 19/06/2014 08:58

Just catching up and all the talk of curries last night has made me want one - bit early in the day for it now though!

Thanks Fancy - just being impatient Smile

Good luck with your scan today Bella

DH went to the pub last night and nearly spilled the beans - think I'm going to have trouble keeping him quiet!

PolytheneGirl · 19/06/2014 08:59

Good luck for the scans ladies! Fingers and toes firmly crossed for you!

We'll miss you Linda have a great time Grin

When I was bfing last time I would wake up every morning soaked in milk, even wearing breast pads. It's why I stopped after 6 months. I was just so fed up of being wet all the time. Sad

lindamagoo · 19/06/2014 09:00

Thank you fancy and good luck Smile

Oh Munday I forgot about the lovely colestrom leakage, not pleasant Hmm

freneticfox · 19/06/2014 09:07

Good luck for those having scans today! Four days until my reassurance scan (will be 7w).

I'm am SO ready for the weekend. The sun's gone back in today so collectively people in the office want the heating back on. Being warm blooded definitely has its disadvantages.

Spotti · 19/06/2014 09:29

Been to the doctors this morning - bit of a kerfuffle getting organised (they no longer do that sit-and-wait thing anymore apparently) but it seems that it would have been a waste of time me sitting and waiting for an appointment with the doctors as it turns out they don't need to see me anyway! The lovely lady behind reception has instead booked me in to see the midwife on 7th July Grin.

The midwife Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin!

It feels a bit more real now.

need to stop grinning because my cheeks are starting to hurt<

5+0 today (will be 7+4 by the time I see the midwife. Eeeek!)

Ahhhhh spotti we are definitely preggo buddies! My booking in appt is the same day as yours and I'm only one day ahead Grin so exciting!

sazzlehopes · 19/06/2014 10:08

good luck to all the scanners today.

Munday - can't believe you have milk already - no fun. I found washable the best - soft and saved a fortune on disposable. Loads of places do them....

Viperama · 19/06/2014 10:10

Back from my reassurance scan, so far so good, spot on at 6+1 and we got to see a heartbeat!!! I had tears of relief rolling down my face. Couldn't give a toss about the ms now. Roll on the next 34 weeks....that's a long time!

Scan buddies please let us know how you get on today.

I'm off to work now, boring

hanflan · 19/06/2014 10:22

Yay viper so happy for you and that's amazing that you got to see the heartbeat!

Spotti · 19/06/2014 10:24

How exciting viper Grin.

Just catching up on last nights OBEM and have just 2 things to say: 1) Zeus? Really?! And 2) hypnobirthing...intrigued...>tootles off to google

OP posts:
sazzlehopes · 19/06/2014 10:27

Yes viper great news!

Off to catch up on OBEM now!

freneticfox · 19/06/2014 10:28

viper that's lovely!! I have a reassurance scan on Monday (I've been getting intermittent pains in one side) and I'm so hoping I can breathe a bit easier after it.

Tiredness has kicked in with a vengeance this morning, which in turn is making me feel queasy. After two days of blissful stomach utopia, I'm a little put out.

Spotti - I have a friend who raves about hypnobirthing, I've added the book to my Amazon wishlist, not quite ready to read something that far ahead though ;)

fancyacupoftea · 19/06/2014 10:38

Yay congrats Viper!

So, here's my little pickle! No problems or issues spotted but I'm definitely being dated earlier (she didn't tell me how much) which meant that the overall measurement was 0.4mm too small (0.4mm!!) to do the NT measurement so have to come back next week for a proper dating and NT test.

Will still tell people though as the NT wouldn't change anything so woo!! Baby!!

Spotti · 19/06/2014 10:43

Woo for pickle! And yay for another scan Grin (any excuse!)

fancyacupoftea · 19/06/2014 10:44

There were some really good movements too. At one point it looked dead on at us which was just a bit freaky to be honest!

Spotti · 19/06/2014 10:44

Pickle looks like a proper little baby now! Does it feel more real yet?

OP posts:
freneticfox · 19/06/2014 10:45

fancy, that's lovely :)

hanflan · 19/06/2014 10:55

Awww fancy what a gorgeous little Bub you have there!

Zermatt · 19/06/2014 11:03

Yay fantastic news Viper and Fancy

You must be so relieved Viper wonderful to see the heartbeat. So pleased for you.

That is a great scan snap Fancy did you feel any different now it's a bit more baby shaped? I've been telling everyone at work today now my boss knows and I loved it, got me a more excited like it's really really real now.

And for tonight's tea, instead of curry we have sausage and mash, with Camembert and caramelised onion sausages.

Thankyou
