Just Shagging Grads Thread 9 - Roll Up, Roll Up all you graduated Viroids!

Welcome to the 9th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed. :-)

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 24th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

For those not in the know, a viroid is an autocorrected version of 'ladies' from the 1st JS thread, which then stuck.

So, roll call below please, viroids. :-)

Work do know, I've got to have a health and safety assessment soon, there's a chance they may completely change my job too, we'll see. Feel so much better since a good sleep :)

ZylaB · 02/07/2014 19:11

Moaning is more than allowed!
Hypo makes me shake, feel confused, hot, not with it, and if untreated can make me have seizures, leaves me feeling (more) knackered and headachy and generally rubbish.

But I'm ok now :)

ZylaB · 02/07/2014 19:11

And hugs for everyone feeling rubbish! It'll be worth it :) :)

wilmabedrock · 02/07/2014 19:18

Gosh that sounds horrible. Well done for staying so positive! You're right, it will totally be worth it in the end.

ZylaB · 02/07/2014 19:28

Pizza was yummy, tho I did leave a lot of the base nod crust in a fairly pointless attempt to be good hehe

ZylaB · 02/07/2014 19:29

*and not nod

Minion · 02/07/2014 20:01

Eeek not good, girl. Don't have diabetes myself however suffer from sugar crashes quite easily, had my first pg one today in fact.

I get impatient, tetchy, yawny then hangry (hungry/angry), think of Joan Collins in the snickers advert...
Actually had a snickers for it, worked a treat..

Think I'm beginning to feel the naval orange move folks. Feels like gas but I don't trump after, so I'm assuming it's my little womble.

Very odd feeling..

RPopz · 02/07/2014 20:08

Hahah! I thought only me and DH said "hangry" Grin We both get super hangry.... nightmare on an evening Wink

RPopz · 02/07/2014 20:09

What the frig is a naval orange anyway? That one's in my book too!

ZylaB · 02/07/2014 20:16

It's an orange with a bit that looks like a navel! Hang on

ZylaB · 02/07/2014 20:19

And what book? Anything good? (What am I missing out on!?)

wilmabedrock · 02/07/2014 20:24

I feel like I'm getting those kind of movements too Min but it's far too early for me so it must actually be wind. I'm jealous of yours being real! NFC what a naval orange is.

JuniDD · 02/07/2014 20:29

hehe, movements a-go-go.
I got booted so hard in the bladder today I nearly pissed myself. I am a bit worried about it getting bigger & stronger. Shock

HungryHorace · 02/07/2014 20:59

Oh, Zyla, look after yourself. Sounds quite alarming, but you do sound calm about them. I guess you've years of experience and knowledge to know what to do in that situation though.

If you want pain, I suggest you get a 6-7lb baby to turn from breech to oblique (not quite head down). Because it hurts. Loads. That was my experience in bed last night. DH commented on the violent sensation. Try having it in you!

Sorry people are feeling crap still. Hope you all feel better soon.

EEEeeeh, horace, I'm getting FEAR already! How long does that last?

I meant to say to zyla, take it easy. I'm not ill at all (though I had awful cramp in the night and still can't walk properly) but it's such a balance between not "giving in" and taking care of yourself. I'm planning a very quiet weekend and hoping I can get through the rest of the week at work. Can you do a shorter day or something? Sounds tiring, if nothing else. xx

ZylaB · 02/07/2014 21:12

Thanks for the thoughts guys, I am fine, and loads better since a sleep :)
I think it's just going to be part of it, and lower sugars are better than high ones which can be bad for the little one, it'll all be good.

Am making DH watch OBEM hehe

RPopz · 02/07/2014 21:18

Zyla - I think its in What to Expect When You're. Expecting. Not a particularly good book, prob wouldn't recommend it.

Bleeurgh Horace!! That happened to my best friend - and she passed out whilst bathing her toddler Shock Luckily managed to grab the plug out on her way down. Scary stuff.

cookielove · 02/07/2014 21:47

Hello all, omg!!

I am really struggling to bend, I'm only 28 weeks but it really hurts, getting washing out of the washing machine is a nightmare!

However never had an issue with sleeping so it's not that bad, really feeling for you wil

zyla oh no that sounds scary (to me)

HungryHorace · 02/07/2014 21:50

Oh, not long, Juni...10 ish minutes maybe.

And don't worry, most babies turn before this stage and most aren't as big as this monster either!

That's nasty, RPopz. And lucky re the plug. Mine wasn't that bad, thankfully. It did cause me to whimper a bit to DH though.

Baby has barely stopped moving today. It's exhausting!

HungryHorace · 02/07/2014 21:52

Kneeling is the only way to get washing out, cookie! Anything else is impossible!

OP posts:
cookielove · 02/07/2014 22:00

I wish I could kneel but I have really dodgy knees and have had loads of physio on them and can't push weight through them well, I look like an idiot!

HungryHorace · 02/07/2014 22:14

Get DH to do the washing! :-)

OP posts:
wilmabedrock · 03/07/2014 03:46

Yes get DH to do it!

Good that baby has turned though Horace, worth the discomfort. MiniWil was back-to-back which did not make for a pleasant labour (is there such a thing)?

HungryHorace · 03/07/2014 06:47

I'd have preferred baby to stay breech, Wil. Turning was grim. I'm having an ELCS anyway, so position isn't that important. :-)

DD has had us up since 6...I'm exhausted already and I've got to take her to a paed appt this morning, which is a drive to the next town. It's bloody uncomfortable to drive now, so not looking forward to it.

How did you sleep, Wil?
