HungryHorace · 07/06/2014 21:41

Welcome to the 9th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed. :-)

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 24th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

For those not in the know, a viroid is an autocorrected version of 'ladies' from the 1st JS thread, which then stuck.

So, roll call below please, viroids. :-)

Oh wow zyla is that because you have diabetes already, sorry I seem to have missed that?

wilhelmeaner · 30/06/2014 21:48

Big kudos to all having to do extra pg tasks, I'm finding it hard enough just trying to function normally without sticking needles in myself.

Popz, I wouldn't bore you by telling you, just crappy chores which needed doing.

ZylaB · 30/06/2014 21:49

Yeah been type 1 since I was 8 - it's ok, I knew what I was letting myself in for before ttc and had big talks with my nurse etc :)

ZylaB · 30/06/2014 21:50

So basically I'm here and understand if you want a whine cookie :)

RPopz · 30/06/2014 22:03

When's your due date Zyla? x

JuniDD · 30/06/2014 22:17

Evening all.
I'm back from my first Lazy Daisy class. I quite liked it, although I think that was the most exercise I've done in a while and it really wasn't that taxing! We did about an hour of movements, with stops to sit and learn about stuff - this week was baby positioning. Then there's a relaxation. I have my relaxation CD so was ready for the The Relaxation Voice but I am quite childish and giggle at anything! So yeah, it was good. Good to learn some postures and poses to help with labour. I want MrJuni to learn it all too though!

cookielove · 30/06/2014 22:51

Ahhh thanks zyla :)

ZylaB · 01/07/2014 06:30

9th march rpopz but I'm expecting end of February cos they usually induce so csection a little but early in diabetics, we'll see, first joint diabetic/antenatal clinic is a week tomorrow :)

ZylaB · 01/07/2014 06:30

Induce or csection

RPopz · 01/07/2014 08:01

What's Lazy Daisy Juni? Sounds like you enjoyed it anyway. Smile

DH is really fucking annoying me this week. Don't know if its hormones or if he is just genuinely the most annoying man in South Yorkshire. I'm having one of those "oh my god you won't even look after your dog properly never mind a baby!!" moments.... (I look after the dog I should add, he is in no way neglected Wink )

On the plus side... omg peaches! How yummy are they right now! Yes I am eating fruit again, and might not give birth to a sliced white loaf after all Hmm Do peaches and nectarines count as two different fruits do we think? #rambling

Hope everyone else is well this fine morning! How's the pelvis Horace? x

JuniDD · 01/07/2014 08:16

It's an ante natal birth prep class just for women rpopz. Little review for wil.

I think it's normal to go off your bloke in pregnancy. Certainly I've had days where I've felt like that abt MrJuni but more to do with his unwillingness to vacuum anything! He is annoying me right now too.

cookielove · 01/07/2014 08:38

Good morning ladies. It is offical I actually have the most annoying husband in England, but he is super cute so I'm keeping him (not allowed to call him cute in real life)

Hmmmmm I only have the nhs antenatal classes booked in. The nct ones are extortionate!

HungryHorace · 01/07/2014 09:14

My DH drives me up the bloody wall. He's generally helpful, but sometimes in 'helping' he creates work for me by doing a half arsed job.

I'm not keen on him touching me or breathing on me either, but I hide that as I don't want to upset him.

The pelvis is achey, but not agonising! Thank you for asking. :-) It's worse first thing, then only really gives problems when I'm doing something. So I sit on my arse a lot!

Latest zinger from a colleague: asked if I will now expect everyone to "coo" over me. Er, what? Last time I checked, I wasn't a baby bird!
AND I had to stand on the bus all the way in as no fucker would stand up. They didn't stand up for a woman on crutches either. I was more bothered for her but clearly shouldn't expect any special treatment on public transport.

wilmabedrock · 01/07/2014 16:08

shh, it's me. Have had to go undercover. Just act natural.

Thanks for review Juni. Can't believe how rude people are. As for your colleague, Jesus, you kept it secret for bloody ages. Hardly like you're Popz's crazy colleague. Sheesh, idiots.

Minion · 01/07/2014 17:01

You're so secret squirrel wilma I can't work out who you are/were...
Maybewil?

RPopz · 01/07/2014 17:58

Haha, why've you gone under cover Wil ? Grin

My crazy colleague has been a whole lot less crazy since I announced my pg... unsurprisingly lol. She does have a dodgy pelvis tho like Horace - so I might have to give her sympathy at some point... Wink its hurting her already apparently and she's only 14 weeks.

Juni - your colleagues sound like socially retarded asses!!

ZylaB · 01/07/2014 18:04

juni whoever said that needs a slap... Or a cool "why on earth would I expect that?" To embarrass them back under their rock

wilmabedrock · 01/07/2014 19:16

Is she super annoyed you've stolen her thunder Popz?

I think that someone I know may be reading this section of mn so trying to stay under the radar. I may just make up some random facts about myself to throw them off the scent Grin . If I start talking about holidays to Jamaica and my job as a high profile criminal lawyer, just smile and nod.

RPopz · 01/07/2014 20:22

Oh no! Okay sooo... how was that sky diving course you went on last week then Wil? Wink Wink

Naaah to be fair she was really nice about it. She said "oh I'm old news now anyway!" This is her 3rd so I think she thinks people are more excited for me now.

Can't believe how much more energy I have this week than the last few!! Grin Better make the most I guess Wink

wilmabedrock · 01/07/2014 20:27

Ha it was great thanks. Love a bit of pregnant skydiving.

Cannot wait for that phase Popz, pretty much thinking I might just go to bed now.

RPopz · 01/07/2014 22:09

Well my smugness was shortlived.... cue massive attack of dizziness and nausea.... Hmm Night ladies!

ZylaB · 02/07/2014 18:32

Evening all, had a total of 4 hypos today! I had to come home at lunch after 3 to sleep cos it left me feeling so rubbish meh. I rang the diabetes nurse yesterday after having a couple of low sugars and she said its normal for them to be all over the place and the May be for another 12 weeks and possibly all the way through lol. Apparently lots of hypos are usual sign for preg in type 1 diabetics, poor DH keeps telling me to stay home tomorrow but I'll go in.

Hope you all had a better day than me, we do have pizza on the way though :)

RPopz · 02/07/2014 18:55

I guess that bean is sapping all your glucose supplies Wink Naughty bean. I hope you don't get morning sickness... Confused

I'd stay at home if I were you Wink Do work know yet? x

wilmabedrock · 02/07/2014 19:06

What happens when you have a hypo Zyla? (If that's a really intrusive question, don't answer, only you seem really calm about it). Hope it doesn't last all the way through.

I shouldn't moan after you suffering like that (but I'm going to anyway); but I feel like utter shite. There's only so long you can survive on crappy sleep without cracking up. Come on magic second trimester, hurry up and get here!
