Just Shagging Grads Thread 9 - Roll Up, Roll Up all you graduated Viroids!

HungryHorace · 07/06/2014 21:41

Welcome to the 9th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed. :-)

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 24th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

For those not in the know, a viroid is an autocorrected version of 'ladies' from the 1st JS thread, which then stuck.

So, roll call below please, viroids. :-)

Omg... Mr Rpopz has got trapped wind and fucking hell the world might end. He genuinely expects sympathy from someone who has been wanting to vomit for 7 weeks solid!! I can kick him out right?

wilhelmeaner · 29/06/2014 20:43

You can send him to another room at the very least Popz. Mr Wil told me he was tired today Angry . Must be really knackered after that 8 hour sleep he had.

Did anyone have days during first trimester where they did not feel in the slightest bit pg? I have a weird bad feeling today but hoping it's just exhaustion paranoia.

RPopz · 29/06/2014 20:53

I'm just eating the rest of my chocolates safe in the knowledge that he won't want me to share them Wink

You're tired aren't you Wil? That's a symptom Smile x

JuniDD · 29/06/2014 21:06

Haha, sorry the trapped wind has made me laugh. It is fecking painful but he just needs to do some cat poses and that'll come right out. Or, just give his tummy a strong push...? Evil? Me?

Weird bad feelings come & go wil, hopefully you'll feel better tomorrow after a good sleep. Keep drinking, keep breathing. First part of pregnancy is tough.

RPopz · 29/06/2014 22:32

I've never had trapped wind so can't comment. But judging by the noises coming from downstairs I'd say its something akin to childbirth? Either that or Mrpopz is a MASSIVE drama queen no comment

Well night girlies. 6 day work week next week Sad so need to catch up on my zzz's. Plus ms has put an appearance in again today Sad Sad xx

ZylaB · 30/06/2014 06:30

Lol at mrrpopz and hugs for the ms and 6 day week.

I feel fine except for the tiredness, I've never been so tired in my life, glad it know I'm pg or I think I'd worry there was something seriously wrong :)

Nessalina · 30/06/2014 07:05

Hey all Smile
I'm jetting off on hols today for a week - whoop! I might be able to check in if there's wifi, but otherwise I'll speak to y'all soon.

Got some sleep last night thank God. Feel almost human again. Thanks for putting up with my crazy worries. It'll be so much easier when I can actually feel a baby in there.

Excellent news re your scan, cookie. :-)

Have a great holiday, Ness.

MW appt this afternoon. I'll see if she's referring me for physio / back to the consultant for an earlier ELCS due to my pelvic pain.

Glad you slept better, Wil. Makes a difference, doesn't it?

Great news Cookie! Grin Can't wait to see babypopz again. Gestational diabetes? x

JuniDD · 30/06/2014 17:10

Are baby gift lists a thing? Just been asked if we have one.

wilhelmeaner · 30/06/2014 17:23

Ah they'd love that question in AIBU Juni Grin . I don't know anyone who has had a list, to me it sounds a little presumptious that people will buy you presents and I also think people quite like to choose baby gifts. Saying that, our families and my best friend all asked what they should get as they wanted to get bigger things that we actually needed, so I guess it's a similar thing. I would definitely wait to be asked though.

Hope you get earlier CS if that's what you'd prefer Horace and hurray for good scan news Cookie. Hope it goes/went ok with midwife about GD (which I'm also assuming is diabetes but don"t actually know).

Feeling crappy today (for a change)! but have also been quite productive.

ZylaB · 30/06/2014 18:02

Have a lovely holiday ness and glad the scan was good and kicky cookie

Am currently trying to go part time at work, in fact lovely DH had got me to ask them the week before we found out I was pg, so I'm hoping that'll give them more incentive to let me (cheaper for them on mat leave). We had wondered about me staying full time now, to get fully paid mat leave, but cos it's going to be a difficult pg - sugars already all over the place and having loads of tests and correction injections - we decided to still go for it if they let me, cos that'll give me more time to focus on me and the little one, hope hope :)

RPopz · 30/06/2014 18:17

I guess they could be a thing if you have a baby shower? Sounds a bit American!

cookielove · 30/06/2014 19:35

Yes it is Gestational diabetes, humph! Now have to watch my diet and test my bkood 4 times a day!

It is great seeing the baby! Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, although him kicking me in the foof makes me feel very uncomfortable!!

ZylaB · 30/06/2014 20:00

passes tissue to cookie for putting on bleeding fingers

I'll raise you 4 times to my 15 - 20 I've been doing ;) you just have to remember it's just until baby's born and it'll be more than worth it :)

RPopz · 30/06/2014 20:37

Ouchy Zyla! Is that it for 9 months now, or will it settle down once you're used to pregnancy?

Ah rubbish Cookie. My cousin had gd too. I'm thinking I should lay off the biscuits as my Dad also has type2 diabetes... Hmm

What have you done with your productive day then Wil? Grin

ZylaB · 30/06/2014 21:03

No rpopz it may settle down some, but apparently my insulin needs or absorbencies or whatever may change regularly, so I'll keep doing lots a day just to be sure, even if it settles down some, almost a peace of mind thing, so I know for sure I'm doing all I can to keep baby healthy
