Just Shagging Grads Thread 9 - Roll Up, Roll Up all you graduated Viroids!

HungryHorace · 07/06/2014 21:41

Welcome to the 9th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed. :-)

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 24th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

For those not in the know, a viroid is an autocorrected version of 'ladies' from the 1st JS thread, which then stuck.

So, roll call below please, viroids. :-)

Yep, I don't think some family that are on my FB know about the pregnancy. And I just don't want people generally knowing. Hard though, when we were doing photos to be all "oh, I don't want to be in them if it's going on FB" y'know?

Modern life is rubbish. Wink

JuniDD · 28/06/2014 23:21

As in, I didn't want to do that as we were having a lovely time and it would have felt twattish. I think it would've been more twattish to do it then than send one person a little FB message this evening. I hope!

RPopz · 28/06/2014 23:30

I don't think it's twatty at all. No reason why all photos should automatically end up on fb nowadays! You could always untag yourself in them if they put them on anyway x

JuniDD · 28/06/2014 23:33

Thanks rpopz. It was a reunion type thing so people asked for us to post photos on FB. I've spent most of the evening on AIBU so i think my reasonableness gauge is a bit screwed up! It is also way too late for a pregnant woman who's been out in the sun all day to be awake so I'm off to bed!

night night. xx

RPopz · 28/06/2014 23:36

I's heading the same way.... Smile

ZylaB · 29/06/2014 00:17

Probably not as people know I'm usually ok with it to drink as long as I test and check :)

It's ok, we altered where we went so we could pick up DH's mate and I was then designated driver, so it was all good.

ZylaB · 29/06/2014 00:18

Sorry, I've got to stop responding to posts without checking if there's another page I've missed hehe

wilhelmeaner · 29/06/2014 06:08

It's fine Juni. I hate when people tag me in photos full stop, always un tag myself.

HungryHorace · 29/06/2014 08:28

I've got my Facebook set up so I have to approve all tags / mentions. In prep for birth and a SiL I don't entirely trust not to announce the birth before we do!

Hello zyla congratulations

Was just gonna say the same as horace about FB
Somehow I set mine up so I can't be tagged in other people's stupid selfie shots while in the pub.

Last night was my first proper night out since BFP, got to bed at 2 & woke up at 6 with a hangover! I must be getting old, how do you get a hangover without drinking alcohol? Confused

wilhelmeaner · 29/06/2014 09:51

Lack of sleep I think Furry, I'm sure that makes up half a hangover. Well done for lasting the night.

Must check my fb. I think people can still tag me but I have timeline review so it only goes on my page if I agree. Luckily my friends are all normal and don't bombard fb with awful photos.

JuniDD · 29/06/2014 10:43

Thanks all for the reassurance. My friend was lovely about it (she's probably the nicest person I know anyway!). I think my face has massively changed since I was a kid as no one recognised me anyway. hahah!

Woken up on the wrong side of the bed today, errrrgh. Silly me for staying up so late.

And sorry furry, I found most of early pregnancy like a rubbish hangover...!

We've got the carseat in the living room now (MrJuni obsessed with taking things out of their boxes). He needs to put it in the loft so I guess it'll be the latest feature in the house. SIGH!

ZylaB · 29/06/2014 10:46

Just did another pg test on the cbfm! think it's cos they come with the ov strips! Also AF was officially due today so I wanted to check hehe.

RPopz · 29/06/2014 10:57

Hahaha Zyla I did about 7... Blush its just a phase we have to go through Wink

Though was very restrained silly and didn't use my 4 cbfm ones... choosing to buy them instead...

I've only just woke up! That's two late nights in a row for ya. I felt hungover yesterday morning Juni.

JuniDD · 29/06/2014 11:20

I prescribe a nap rpopz.

FurryScoob · 29/06/2014 11:57

Just had a bacon butty & a nap now gotta do a massive pile of ironing Sad if the basket of washings to heavy for a pregnant lady to lift do I have a good enough reason not to do it!

JuniDD · 29/06/2014 12:30

Just realised I got furry and zyla mixed up! Furry is just behind me. Duh.

HungryHorace · 29/06/2014 13:10

If you haven't already, up your water / fluid intake as you need to drink more when pregnant. Being properly hydrated should help you avoid the hangover feeling (a hangover is caused by dehydration, after all).

So will more sleep, but pregnancy makes me an insomniac, so I'll be jealous if you get lots of sleep! DD's teething at the moment, so we had an awful night's sleep. The joy.

Actually managed a bath today (in with DD!) and baby was going bonkers. :-)

I'm quite scared how fast time is going actually. The new baby will be here before I know it...getting apprehensive of the ELCS now. :-/

cookielove · 29/06/2014 13:34

furry I don't own an iron thats a good enough reason not to iron!

rpoz omg so cute!

ZylaB · 29/06/2014 14:31

Aww so cute rpopz

I need to drink more water I think. And my sense of smell seems to be about the same as a dog's atm. We just went out and I was complaining about a nasty hurry smell, about 5 mins later we found them tarring the road hehe.

RPopz · 29/06/2014 14:44

I've been mega thirsty since day one. Something to do with increased blood volume I think. That and probably all the carbs I've been eating! Just getting out of the hyper smelling stage I think. Can open the tea cupboard without borking now!! Grin
I solemnly swear not to buy anything else for ages now!

wilhelmeaner · 29/06/2014 15:00

What did you buy, I can't see photos on the app?

HungryHorace · 29/06/2014 15:06

Extreme thirst is an early symptom for me...partly how I knew I was pregnant both times!

I've never had the hyper sensitive smell. Strong smells make me want to vom, but otherwise I'm ok.

They are too cute, RPopz. Where are they from?

OP posts:
RPopz · 29/06/2014 15:15

Tescos! Bit of an impulse buy... Blush

They're baby gros Wil - with zebras on haha! Grin Nice and unisex. Though I think its a boy now anyway.
