Welcome to the 9th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed. :-)

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 24th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

For those not in the know, a viroid is an autocorrected version of 'ladies' from the 1st JS thread, which then stuck.

So, roll call below please, viroids. :-)

Ah great news Zenry! Grin

Minion · 21/06/2014 20:50

Hi fluffy!
4 hours, deffo a record.
I'm in major freak out mode tokay and I have no clue why. The other night I dreamt I wiped after going for a wee and it was bright red so I kept saying ' no no no no no' and woke myself up. Then today I just feel different so when I got home I did a test (I know, I know) and the like is fainter than the last test I did (admittedly ages ago) and I've been having this strange discharge (sorry of tmi), feel all wet down there.
Please tell me this is normal... horace I need you to talk me down.
Arghhh.
But glad to be home, I'm gonna have a long long soak in the tub. My back, feet and calves are in bits.

wilhelmeaner · 21/06/2014 20:53

Fab news zenry!

Sorry you're still feeling shitty Ness.

I am fine thanks Rpopz except for my hayfever which is awful. Apparently there are some antihistamines you can take whilst pg if you get a prescription so think i'll have to go to the GP.

wilhelmeaner · 21/06/2014 21:10

Ok Min, in the absence of Horace, I'll give it a shot.

Dreams just play on your thoughts (and fears) and aren't indicative of real life. So let that go.

I don't really know how hcg levels change during pg but do know that tests aren't always reliable. Try to stop POAS as it really doesn't tell you much. It wouldn't suddenly show up as negative even if the worst had happened and will just risk stressing you out.

I have tons of discharge and it has changed over the weeks. In what way do you think it's weird? What colour is it etc?

If you have no pains and no blood then you know it's likely things are ok. But i do think that if you're at all worried, don't be scared of contacting the midwife. That's why they're there. Thanks

Nessalina · 21/06/2014 21:24

Excellent advice from Wil, hope you're ok Minion Thanks It sucks when your brain runs away with you!!

Minion · 21/06/2014 21:26

Thanks wil I need the sane in my life. It's mostly yellow ish and watery, has been since day one so that's why I'm confused about the anxiety.
I've a feeling is to do with it being a couple of days till my 16 week check up, not knowing whether baby will be heard etc.
Scanxious indeed!

Nessalina · 21/06/2014 21:26

Plus, tmi, I also have lots of discharge, and I occasionally go rushing to the loo because it feels like blood. That is definitely normal pregnant behaviour!

RPopz · 21/06/2014 21:35

Exactly the same here Ness! I've been quite wet and "gushy" down there from day one. And in the early weeks I did many a panic stricken run to the loo expecting blood...

Hope you're ok Min. Pregnancy dreams are weird aren't they. I've had a couple of stressy dreams recently.... first one I was looking after someone's child for them (god knows who!). Said child was far too old to be wearing a nappy but was, shat himself and then proceeded to smear shit ALL OVER my house. Cue me screaming to Mr Rpopz: "I can't deal with this, I'm getting an abortion!!" Confused Hmm The one I had last night... I was trying to breastfeed my newborn, but it just wouldn't latch on. According to the midwife who was living in my house for some reason; it was because I'd made the mistake of feeding it banana and apple for the first few days after we brought it home (!?) so now it thought milk wasn't good enough. I woke up in a horrible panic because this baby would only feed for seconds at a time and so couldn't possibly be getting enough food from me!!

(we feed the dog chopped banana and apple as a treat.... Blush Hmm )

JuniDD · 21/06/2014 21:38

The discharge is completely normal. Leucorrhea I think. It does feel horribly like bleeding sometimes.

I think HCG changes or drops off after 12 wks so poas is not the thing to do. Try not to freak out min, maybe you're tired after your hol? Always makes me panic and fear the worst.

That's me for my bed now, family shindig tomorrow so will need as much energy as I can muster.

wilhelmeaner · 21/06/2014 21:53

Rpopz your dreams are hilarious! That really made me laugh.

Yep just googled hcg thing and it plateaus or drops off after 12 weeks.

Know how you feel Min, my scan can't come fast enough.

HungryHorace · 21/06/2014 21:54

Minion, yes, I agree with everyone else. Please don't worry.

Here's an hcg chart for you: m.huggies.com.au/pregnancy/early-stages/symptoms/hcg-levels/chart/

It's really interesting.

Nessalina · 21/06/2014 22:14

God yes, the dreams are getting weirder here too! I had one that really freaked me out where my MIL was looking after the baby straight after the birth, and she brought him back in wearing a dress and with his ears pierced! Shock Everyone was saying, oh what a pretty girl, and I was like, no! He's a boy!!
Pretty clear where that one came from, as my MIL was hoping it would be a girl, but she's super excited about a grandson and would never do anything like that!!

RPopz · 21/06/2014 22:47

Haha I'm sure that happened in real life you know Ness ... some woman with loads of sons cracked up a bit when she had another, so she just decided to dress it up as a girl and tell everyone it was a girl therefore it was a girl! Confused ... Come to think of it that might have been a film or something....

DulcetMoans · 22/06/2014 07:24

Oh min. I could have wrote your post! The wiping dream is exactly what I have had a couple of times on the nights before I have my breakdowns. For that reason I would guess is normal!

Oh and the wet knicker rush to the toilet is commonplace here too.

Trip gone well so far, I think! Tried to steer conversation away from pregnancy so don't rub it in and talk about her plans. She's been to see a clinic and sounds like that's a goer so really hopeful for her too soon!

JuniDD · 22/06/2014 08:03

Glad it's going ok with your friend dulcet.

I slept for around 10 hours! So hoping I'm up for family today and my nan asking me 20 times if I've got everything for the baby. Also realised that I'm over halfway through - baby's had more time inside that it's got left. EEEK!!!

RPopz · 22/06/2014 08:46

Dulce I'm sure your friend appreciates you've been through similar and are trying to handle it sensitively. Rather than just bulldozing in like some might! Hope you're enjoying London Smile

We're family-ing as well today, its the sister's birthday. Dad might be there so that'll be fun.... not. Hmm

Hope everyone else has nice sunny plans! x

RPopz · 22/06/2014 11:03

Mr Rpopz is cleaning the bathroom! Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock

DulcetMoans · 22/06/2014 11:09

Cleaning the bathroom?! Why?! What did he do in there?! He can't just be being helpful - can he?!

Hope she does feel that way popz, it's a balance between not over sharing and not keeping secrets. Think she thinks I don't want to talk about it until scan anyway. Think we are ok though. Gone our separate ways now.

I would hate to live in London!!

RPopz · 22/06/2014 11:13

False alarm... he's just unblocking the bath plug which has been draining slowly for a while. This involves chemicals and tools and therefore is a man job.... Wink

DulcetMoans · 22/06/2014 11:16

Ah that makes sense then! Phew!

popz, I read the Jan thread. Why did I do that?!

Nessalina · 22/06/2014 13:26

Haha! Man job = good, cleaning = BAD. We have role reversal in the Ness house as DH is now house husband having given up work to retrain, so he does the cleaning. The only issue is that he doesn't do it really well - you know, it's a wipe round, but doesn't get into the corners. The bottom of the shower screen has been driving me mad as it gets covered in that orange gunk Confused and every time he's 'cleaned' the bathroom, it's still there!! So I got in there with some CIF and a toothbrush this morning and got it all clean! DH listens at the door, and calls through 'Are you... Cleaning?!?!' Lol. He was impressed with my efforts Grin
