Just Shagging Grads Thread 9 - Roll Up, Roll Up all you graduated Viroids!

HungryHorace · 07/06/2014 21:41

Welcome to the 9th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed. :-)

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 24th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

For those not in the know, a viroid is an autocorrected version of 'ladies' from the 1st JS thread, which then stuck.

So, roll call below please, viroids. :-)

Predictably the pizza arrives and I can only manage 2 pieces of it cos I feel sicky... Angry

Ooh I never knew that Juni. Learning a lot from you ladies! I know my bf had them loads towards the end of her pg, they used to wake her up in the middle of the night, making her super grouchy.... Wink

RPopz · 20/06/2014 21:06

I love clothes shopping too. Not done any in a while though cos it seems a bit pointless!

DulcetMoans · 20/06/2014 21:08

Wow nessa, I didn't know such appointments existed?! Glad they've fit you in so quickly though.

Great excuse for a new wardrobe juni! I hate trying stuff on though.

Forgot to say! I got a new bra from mothercare. No wire - bliss!!

JuniDD · 20/06/2014 21:10

Wow ness! Maybe grab an hour's kip now then head down? It's good they're getting you seen to. Hot sore boobahs doesn't sound very nice at all.

Ah rpopz, a bigger top here, an elasticated skirt there (which no longer fits!) it's a slippery old slope. And then ASOS is my staple. I'm trying not to go too crazy but it's so flipping hot, I need some linen trousers in my life!

Oh yes, I had a terrible journey home from work today. I asked DH to pick me up but the traffic was so bad it took him 20 mins to get to the main road so I got the bus. Then, believe this, the bus had the HEATING on!! I was melting, and felt like I was in a sauna so I got off the bus and staggered most of the way home. With my sore feet and swollen ankles. Gonna ask work if I can finish early on a Friday as the gridlock is always so stupid.

RPopz · 20/06/2014 21:11

Oooh do you feel like a proper pregnant lady now Dulce, shopping in Mothercare? Wink Smile

RPopz · 20/06/2014 21:16

Oooh linen trousers... now there's an idea. DH has just informed me he has to work 12-8 on Weds (scan day) ARG! I've got the whole day off i'll be bouncing off the walls all that time on my own!!

Nessalina · 20/06/2014 21:17

I'm irrationally excited about our trip to Mothercare next Weds Smile I'm gonna buy up the store!

I know - who knew they had 11pm appointments!! I had a little snooze earlier, so think I might hop in the shower and try to wake up a little bit. That way I can lie in a bit more in the morning rather than getting up to wash my hair. Unfortunately I have work tomorrow!!

Nessalina · 20/06/2014 21:18

Oh no! Will he be able to go to the scan Rpopz?!

DulcetMoans · 20/06/2014 21:26

Mixture of pregnant and fraud popz, yeah! It wasn't planned but walked past and thought id look. Most expensive bra I ever bought but worth it!

RPopz · 20/06/2014 21:26

Yeah the scan is at 8am Shock haha. I was just hoping to go out for lunch or something afterwards. Have a smoochy coupley day. Looks like I'll be on my own for most of it though... boo.

wilhelmeaner · 20/06/2014 22:01

Definitely worth getting checked out Ness. It'll probably be fine. My friend had it and said it was the worst experience of her life, so if you're not feeling like that, it's hopefully something else. That's my messed up logic anyway.

Bigger trousers don't work unless you also put weight on your bum and legs. You'll need to get some maternity ones at some point unless you're one of these lucky skinny girls with teeny bump. Envy

Nessalina · 20/06/2014 22:06

I just got my work maternity uniform, and it's silly. The trousers are a size 18 (I'm usually a 16) and fit now, but really won't fit in a month! The shirts are size 16-18, fit at the back, then have about half a metre of spare material at the front Confused Think I'm going to try and put some pleats in... I hope it works, I resent buying work clothes!

Nessalina · 20/06/2014 23:43

Back from the OOH GPs! He didn't even look at the offending items, just prescribed me a week of 'preventative antibiotics'! Hmm Which is good I suppose, but I kinda would have liked a medical opinion! Never mind. I'll take them and if it's not better in a few days I'll go to the proper GPs!

wilhelmeaner · 21/06/2014 07:31

How weird Nessa, you practically have to be dying to get antibiotics when you're pg up here. Annoying he didn't look but good he took you seriously. Hope you feel better soon Brew Thanks

fluffymouse · 21/06/2014 07:58

Hi I'm joining this thread after graduating from the js in a record (I think) 4 hours. Due date 28th feb :)

DulcetMoans · 21/06/2014 08:19

Welcome fluffy, that is quick! What made you test just 4hrs later?! How are you feeling?

That is annoying nessa, why would he not look?! You aren't a doctor and we shouldn't be encouraged to self diagnose from google, surely! We'd all be pregnant all the time if the was the case!

Off to the big smoke today I meet my friend that has been TTC for nearly as long as I was. Bit worries how she will take my news... Hope it doesn't upset her.

RPopz · 21/06/2014 08:26

Haha I was wondering if he was going to make you get them out Ness!! Surprised he didn't tbh. Are you feeling any better this morning?

Welcome fluffy! Grin Is this your first?

Good luck Dulce I'm sure she'll be chuffed for you xx

wilhelmeaner · 21/06/2014 09:31

Welcome Fluffy.

Yeah Dulcet it's like the 'not checking you're actually pregnant' thing. I still think i might be making it up. Good luck today. Hope your friend is happy for you. It might give her a bit of hope? Or best scenario, maybe she is pg too.

HungryHorace · 21/06/2014 09:44

Wow, Fluffy...I think that even beats Kitten's 'doing a Kitten'! Congrats and welcome.

Interesting that the doctor didn't want to see your boobs, Ness! Let's hope the antibiotics work. :-) What kind of bra are you wearing? A too tight under wired bra can lead to mastitis.

Enjoy London, Dulcet. I hope the postie has been when you get back.

I need to make DD's birthday cake today. I suppose I should get moving!

Silver, the thread reminded me to test, and I got lucky!

This will be dc2:)

Nessalina · 21/06/2014 10:48

Weird isn't it? I've was quite disappointed not to get me tits oot.
It was 11pm and he had just had the previous appointment's child throw up all over his office, so I wasn't too surprised that he didn't want to string it out! They still feel pretty sad today and I didn't get much sleep, but once I've finished work I can get the antibiotics from the chemist!

I've been wearing non-underwired for ages - they're a wee bit tight my bras, but then they've got to be or they'd be hanging by my belly button at this rate Confused I'm going to get a bigger size from Mothercare on Weds, and they were a little softer too, so that should help.

Welcome fluffy! Good to see the JSing BFPs are flowing! I wonder how long it'll be before we can tempt Red over!

Hope things go ok in London Dulcet, you never know, she might have good news for you and be thinking the same!

RPopz · 21/06/2014 11:44

Bleddy Cats Protection League... sending me begging letters and pictures of cute kitties! I can't resist in my hormonal state!

JuniDD · 21/06/2014 18:33

Aw rpopz they so tug in the heartstrings.

I'm so tired today we has to cancel dinner out and I'm lying in front of a fan trying to nap. Much respect to you guys looking after other kids, I am wiped out.

RPopz · 21/06/2014 18:42

Know that feeling. Mr Rpopz wanted to go out tonight. I've walked the dog, vacuumed the shit out of the house, been shopping for birthday presents for my sister, brushed the dog, scared the crap out of myself on the antenatal threads.... and now I'm whacked!! Can't see myself moving off the sofa again today tbh. Feel bad though.

wilhelmeaner · 21/06/2014 19:02

Rpopz will you bloody stop reading those threads. You're going to stress yourself out plus we're much more fun Grin .

Sounds like you've been really busy, enjoy your rest. You too Juni. Kids actually don't take that much looking after. Once they sleep well, it's a lot easier than you'd think. (Before that point it's hideous)! Wink
