I get you Martie. When I'm over this horrendous week at work I'll try to enjoy being pregnant!

Somersetgirl1990 · 20/06/2014 14:44

Hope everything went well today Emily!
I've been completed off sex, every time we dtd all I can think is "sorry baby" over and over! But I've been having very sexual dreams! Weird that I don't feel like it when I'm conscious haha.
15+5

Ladylel · 20/06/2014 14:56

I must admit my sex drive seems heightened right now. DH is just like 'again?' Lol I'd stop whinging if I were him and enjoy the moment!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 20/06/2014 18:49

Any news Emily?

htbftm · 20/06/2014 19:57

I keep checking in hoping for an update from her. Hope shes ok! xx

CoddledAsAMommet · 20/06/2014 20:05

Popped into Sainsbury's today and they had some Christmas-themed vests for half price. As this one is due on Boxing Day it seemed apt to pick up a pack. Hopefully this means I'm getting my head round there actually being a baby in 6 months' time.

I hope Emily got a good result today, it would be cruel to have to wait over the weekend.

Feeling fat, still spotty and shattered beyond words today. Am seeing the consultant on Monday for the first time so will see if there's a possibility of iron tablets to give a bit more energy.

13 weeks today.

CatFaceCrayola · 20/06/2014 20:22

Hoping for the best for emily

Had a moment of rage earlier. I walked into the door, but got so so angry and started punching said door and throwing things around.

This baby is turning me into a crazy person!

martie loved your post as being grateful for the little baby we have inside is the most important thing and all the other symptoms we just have to take and tolerate. I'm ever so grateful for this gift too as we had given up many years ago....love to all and positive thoughts to emily

Martie1 · 21/06/2014 00:21

Thanks shanels peace and poly, just wishing for some news from emily now, hoping it's celebrating with her other half that's keeping her away from here.

Ladylel · 21/06/2014 08:02

DrewsWife · 21/06/2014 12:01

had my.scan on Wednesday. I am now 14+1 baby was very wriggly. had a bit of a meltdown as been referred to the fat mum class at the hospital. Unsure if this is mandatory.

consultant as lovely as she is has decided that I wont have freedom in labour and will have to be monitored throughout. how can they make that decision at this point? Angry

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 21/06/2014 12:13

I'm seeing my consultant for the first time on Wednesday. I'll be 15+1. I'm sure this has changed since last time. I think I was seen at around 8 wks before.

Really helpful that! Hmm whatsonemore

Is anyone else still utterly exhausted? I'm now nearly 15 weeks, ms faded about a week ago although still suffering nausea when hungry but I'm still just as knackered. Why aren't I feeling better yet?

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 21/06/2014 13:06

My consultant appointment is at the beginning of July and I'm fully anticipating being sent marching over to How Very Dare Your Fat Body Grow A Child, It's A Disgrace club HmmHmmHmm c'est la vie.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 21/06/2014 13:21

Did you get your consultant appointments through as seperate appointments to your scan dates?

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 21/06/2014 13:25

Mine was booked at the midwife booking in, and I had a letter through the post.

Ooh! I haven't mentioned this yet, have I? The midwife got my bloody BMI wrong! She said I was 5'2" and 118kg which put me at 45.5, but the sonographer did it again a week later and measured me as 5'4" (I thought this was my correct height all along) and 117kg, so I'm "only" 43.5! Bastards.

PolytheneGirl · 21/06/2014 13:49

My consultant's appointment came in the post completely separate from the scan one.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 21/06/2014 14:14

I've only had the apt for the GTT, 20 week skan and 16 week midwife (to be held at 18 weeks because my surgery only has midwife in every two weeks and I'm on a fecking training course.

They got my BMI wrong too Peace - worked me out at 44 but am 42. as well as not booking me in properly the first time at 8 weeks, they were not listening when I went at 13 weeks to my protests of "I haven't yet been booked in properly, I was sent home last time as it was too early to do my bloods". Until a lovely older nurse took the time to stop and listen to me, and send me back to the midwife who then did everything she was meant to! None of this really fills me with confidence and I do wish I wasn't having my baby at one of the biggest maternity hospitals in the country. It all feels massively conveyor belty... pregnant woman, check. wee in a tube, check , take bloods, check, scan, check, quick chat check - out. NEXT! It's scaring me a bit.
