Glad to hear your blockage has cleared fancy hope that your stomach settles down soon.

I'm 12 wks today and have my scan first thing tomorrow morning. Also think I might be starting to feel a bit better on the sickness and tiredness front. Hope so.

Thanks all. Will update this afternoon. Appointment is 1.40. I'm scared. They told me to come with an empty bladder. Does that mean they are doing an internal scan? Do you think DP will be allowed to hold my hand?

Broody it sounds like it might be an internal scan but yeah dh will be allowed to hold your hand, I went with my friend when she had one and they didn't mind me being in there. Good luck again

Yes sounds internal and yes your OH can be there holding your hand. Internal exams aren't painful in the slightest but don't wear your best knickers as they'll probably get covered in lube afterwards. Nice. Good luck Broody!!

Hi all. Well I'm completely terrified today. Cramps that I've had since cd25 picked up a gear last night and this morning and now getting sharp twinges. I'm a wreck. So here I am in a self referral epu unit waiting.. When I mc in February I saw first blood 2 days from now and it feels exactly the same as it did then. I'm so sad.

Oh Viper :( Try to stay positive. Just because cramps were a bad sign last time, doesn't mean they are this time! I had pretty bad cramps and twinges a couple of days ago! And lots of ladies here say that they had them and it was nothing. Hope you get seen soon.

viper I've had cramps on and off for the last few days, as though AF is coming.. my GP said that as long as there isn't heavy bleeding I shouldn't worry. Hoping all is well for both of us!

Same as linda here, I slept 10 hours and that seems to be the only way that I manage to feel faaaiiirrly normal the next day. Parents' evening tonight though, until 730 pm, way past my 'crash-on-the-sofa-and-never-move-again-til-bedtime'-time...god knows how I'll cope, especially as the nausea usually hits from around 5pm...!

Eeep, mild cramps have progressed to a sharp stabbing pain below my belly button... should I be taking to a GP/mw?

frenetic Give it a couple of hours and if it's still painful maybe give the midwife a call. Could just be trapped wind?! I had awful pain the other day, then had a huge fart and it was all gone! So relieving! (tmi)
