All ok! Saw liitle Bean with a tiny fast heartbeat!Â
Measured at 6+3 but I thought I was more like 7 +2..
She didn't seem at all concerned and said I had possibly had subchorionic haematoma which is just bleeding near Bean not actually Bean itself.Â
phew! So relieved and happy Grin Grin Grin Thanks for all your support xx

lindamagoo · 12/06/2014 15:53

Broody that is fantastic news, such a relief for you x

mrshjb · 12/06/2014 16:01

Woohoo broody that's amazing news! So pleased for you :) xx

hanflan · 12/06/2014 16:06

Yaaaaay broody! So so pleased for you. Don't worry about the dates either, I think someone else on here, can't remember who it was or it might have been on another thread, said they had their dates put back at their early scan but then they went forwards again back to the original dates at the 12wk scan!

fancyacupoftea · 12/06/2014 17:20

Woooo Broody you must be so relieved! That is really good news. Don't worry at all about the date change, both Mademoiselle and I were put back at early then moved forward again.

Frenetic I think the worrying is just the first stage of motherhood! I've had lots of cramps but when I felt a particularly painful one I just knew it was time for the doctors. Now I was sort of right too as the pain was definitely medical but it happened to be a big blocked bum (officially an 'impacted bowel' don't ever google image it). So trust your instincts - if it doesn't feel 'right' call the doctor.

I had my observation it was no more or less than 'fine'. I admitted to the deputy though that it was pretty low on my current priorities which I'm sure he wasn't impressed with but he can suck it up as I'm rather busy (not to mention nauseous) at the moment!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 12/06/2014 17:48

So glad your scan went well Broody! Smile now relax and enjoy xx

sammyj85 · 12/06/2014 18:03

Yay broody glad everything went well!

We are due to fly to canada when I'll be 10+2. I'm really nervous about it so we're going to have a private scan before to check everything is ok. Has anyone used a particular company they thought was good? Thanks!

lindamagoo · 12/06/2014 18:44

My bloody boiler has packed in! No heating or hot water AngryAngryAngry

PolytheneGirl · 12/06/2014 19:06

Congrats Broody, that's fantastic news Grin

I've had a long and hard day and when I was on my last legs DS decided rather than saying excuse me when I was stood in his way, he would headbutt me. It really hurt and I have cried quite a bit about it but I have felt baby move since. Do I need to get checked out? I'm so upset, I've had to get DH to put him to bed. I just don't know why he would do it!

Oh Poly I hope you are ok. Baby should be fine, well protected with the fluid in there but if you are concerned just phone the hospital for advice. Sending you a nice big hug Smile hope all goes well tomorrow huni, try not to stress too much

CagedMango · 12/06/2014 19:56

Broody that's great news!

My 12 week scan went well this morning too. Looks like we have just one (phew) healthy looking jumping bean! They counted the weeks/days a bit differently to me but the due date was the same as my guess (maybe the app I'm using is American?) so I'm still on for boxing day :)

CagedMango · 12/06/2014 19:59

Hope you are ok poly! This is my first so I've got no advice. Just hope he is better tomorrow for you.

broodysnoopstie · 12/06/2014 20:13

Maybe an early night Poly? Hope you feel better soonThanks

broodysnoopstie · 12/06/2014 20:15

Oh No Lin! What a nightmare at least it's not the dead of winter

freneticfox · 12/06/2014 20:15

Whew, what an evening.. came home early from work with pain, less than an hour later was writing on the floor in agony (pain to one side) called my midwife who told me to get to A&E, they saw to me straight away and said they thought it was ectopic... I immediately panicked and went into meltdown mode (cool, eh?).

Anyway, they examined and observed me for a while, the pain subsided with stronger meds and they've sent me home with a follow up appointment tomorrow...

That was definitely an unexpected drama!!!

broodysnoopstie · 12/06/2014 20:19

Oh my god Fox you poor thing I hope you feel better tomorrow x

broodysnoopstie · 12/06/2014 20:19

Mango congrats on your 12 week scan

CagedMango · 12/06/2014 20:23

Did you get a scan in a and e fox? Or blood tests to check? Hope everything is ok!

freneticfox · 12/06/2014 20:26

They did bloods and a pee test. It was rather exciting to be medically confirmed as pregnant! Because I have no bleeding they weren't imminently worried, but they've given me a direct number to call if anything worsens and I'm to call them first thing in the morning and if the pain is still there on any level they'll have me in for a scan

RetroHippy · 12/06/2014 20:56

broody and caged fab news, so pleased for you both!

fancy, ok isn't rubbish. And like you say, not top of the list. I suspect mine on Wed won't be amazing, but my class seem to know I have no energy and are running rings round me. I feel like Miss Crabapple from The Simpsons Blush

htbftm · 12/06/2014 21:17

Yay! so pleased for you Broody and Mango! Great new! :-)sorry to hear you've had stressful evenings Poly and Foxb:( Think you need an early night x

PolytheneGirl · 12/06/2014 21:33

Sorry. I promptly fell asleep on the settee after my last post. I think I'm ok I was just completely shocked and upset after the headbutt. I've had no cramping, pain or bleeding so I'm sure all is well in there. I simply have no idea why DS would do something like that, it's so out of character and he looked really shocked when I explained to him that hurting my tummy could hurt me and the baby.

Glad DH is at home tomorrow. I thought 1st tri tiredness would have passed by now but I'm feeling worse than ever. Also glad I haven't got my friends LO tomorrow. I found it really hard work today with the 2 boys. I'm wondering how much longer I can lug him about for. He's over 2 stone, 15 months and not walking. A friend at stay and play told me off today for picking him up! Confused

I'm glad your scan went well Caged. Always lovely to hear happy news on here.

Definitely seem to be getting MS in the evenings, for about a week now been feeling queasy after about 9pm. Nibbling on ginger biscuits hoping it goes away soon...

Viperama · 12/06/2014 23:55

Broody what a relief to hear all us well? Great news as well Caged.

I tried to update earlier but was at work and mobile was playing silly bugggers and I've still got family staying, it's their last night so couldn't whip out the iPad.

Thanks fir your kind words today ladies, it helped knowing your out there rooting for me and the sausage.
So my scan was okay, too early to see a heart beat but saw a yolk in the sac (am I a chicken?) and said she's happy with shape and size for my dates, so to hang in there for my appointment in 1 week and we'll hopefully see some growth. So I've calmed down a bit. But clearly the grief and fear of my mc is just under the surface as I was a blubbing wreck when I arrived.

I'm so sorry you had a tough time this afternoon Frenetic hope everything settles down tonight xx
