Back from scan, baby wriggling around and now dated at 13+1. NT measurement is higher end of normal so now have a new thing to stress about for the next week or so until blood test results come back. DP has been v quiet since we got back and has taken himself off to do some DIY so clearly doesn't want to talk about it, he hasn't even looked at the scan pics we got :s Think he is freaked out by the NT result.

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 23/05/2014 17:01

So sorry Kilda :( did you not have any signs like bleeding or anything? This is my biggest fear as my scan is tomorrow. I hope you have lots of support to get you through this hard time x

nickyjlees · 23/05/2014 17:23

So sorry kilda, hope you are as ok as you possibly can be x

CatFaceCrayola · 23/05/2014 17:27

pouquoi I am confused. My lmp puts me as 11+5 but the sex that got me pregnant was almost exactly 2 weeks later, so 9+5 ??

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 23/05/2014 17:36

Catface the first two weeks of pregnancy, you're not physically pregnant. It's confusing, but trust you are in fact 11 weeks!

KildaTiffany · 23/05/2014 17:54

thanks all. not had any bleeding no, and I've been nauseous up till about last week when I started to get my appetite back so I must have been full of pg hormones long after it stopped. my sister went through exactly the same last year so will be v supportive.
Good luck to all the rest of you with your lovely christmas babies :-)

ffallada · 23/05/2014 17:58

My thoughts are with you kilda hope you have lots of support in RL

How does it feel catface to jump two weeks? That's two weeks less symptoms you'll have Grin

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 23/05/2014 18:06

I wish I was jumping to 11 weeks!! Definitely still 9+1 today.

Kilda hope you're alright and have people around you. Take it easy

Loving seeing all the scan pics pop up!

CatFaceCrayola · 23/05/2014 19:07

peace I remain unconvinced ;) but if it means I can get a nice reassuring scan a bit sooner then I'll go with it!

Madness! Absolute madness! So I actually am 11+5? So if I googled what baby should be up to at 11+5 that'd be right? Even though baby has only been growing for 9+5.

Can't get my head round it at all!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 23/05/2014 20:40

Exactly right Catface. Congratulations Grin

Bettycakes80 · 23/05/2014 20:59

Is anyone else mourning the loss of their old wardrobe? I went through earlier and have bagged a load of stuff to go up in the loft for the next 12 months. Jeans I thought i might get away with for a few more weeks no longer do up, and pretty summer dresses that'll no way stretch across a bump are all packed away. Sigh.

CatFaceCrayola · 23/05/2014 21:10

Ace...in 2 days I'll be out of this manky first trimester! Hoping to miraculously feel better on Monday (not likely I know!)

mythical · 23/05/2014 21:15

Oh no! i posted a massive reply and it got lost! grr.

I'll shorten it up to - hugs and love to all those who need it, so sorry you're having a rough time.

I love seeing all the scan pics!

I had my scan today and bean is now due 28/11/14. I hope you'll let me stay lol :P

Good luck to all those with upcoming scans! you'll be surprised how time flies. I found out i was pregnant at 3 weeks gestation and it's hard to believe that was 10 weeks ago :)

Lovely scan photos, is anyone using the nub theory to try and find out what they're having? I've been googling like mad after what was said at my scan but I'm not sure either way. Considering we weren't going to find out I've now changed my mind though we're not telling people.

Rejjie · 23/05/2014 23:40

Lisa My midwife asked if we were related as well. I think it's a general question and not specifically because we live in the East of England!

LisaC2611 · 24/05/2014 06:27

I thought it was a bit of a strange question rejie.

Have been awake since 5.45 am this morning and now sitting watching crap tv until it's time to get ready for the gym. I know I need to get ready for sleepless nights but couldn't my body wait until at least 6 months in? I need sleep Hmm

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 24/05/2014 06:40

I'm wide awake too Hmm do not want

Shanels · 24/05/2014 07:12

Early morning.....
Congratulations mythical so cute
Sorry to hear your news kilda :(

All of you changing size is scaring me- I haven't changed a bit... I really have to stop reading into everything, don't I?

I'm having the midwife appointment and scan on the same day- 2nd June...counting days, hours, minutes....

SassehMonsta · 24/05/2014 08:11

Pretty much the only size changing I've done is losing weight from the HG - lost a stone in 6 weeks, which is about 10% of my original body weight. Booo.

Nasty bile run this morning but felt so much better for it. Have tried a banana but think I haven't left it long enough between the vomiting and eating this morning... boo!

Yes the related question is for everyone, it's even in the green notes as a question to be asked. Had anyone else been told they will be sent to a specialist and then heard nothing more? I'm a medium risk pregnancy due to my lung disease (and possibly the HG as well) but my midwife appointment was almost 3 weeks ago and nothing yet. Confused!! Do I need to contact them after the back holiday and chase do you think?

OP posts:
CatFaceCrayola · 24/05/2014 10:02

If say chase it up after bank holiday.

I'm thinking I'm going to have to return to the doctors on Tuesday. Will have had this awful itchy chest/neck rash for a week by then. The cream has calmed it but now my arms and hands arw getting blotchy :(

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 24/05/2014 10:40

Morning guys scan at 11.30 and I am bricking it!! Lol why am I so silly?!?! So nervous either way!! Wish me luck!!
