That sounds really rough Whatsonemore. I hope you get an appointment today. Can anyone help out with the kids while you feel so weak?

Drewswife I come from Eltham! Hope the journey home is painless!

Got to work, wearing my baggy blouse although it's not really hiding much. 3 days til scan!!!!!

12+1

SassehMonsta · 19/05/2014 08:17

Despite being on cyclizine I'm still vomiting a couple of times a day. I now know what the "bile run" is far too well. Again, attempting to get a drs appointment is a nightmare at times. Hoping things settle but not all that convinced, so will try again with drs tomorrow.

Home alone today as husband is back to work after the weekend. I've text my mum but no reply yet as to if she can pop over for a bit. Going back to sleep seems to be my plan for the day, if only the dog would agree....

Good luck to all those with scans and feel better soon all those in pain or discomfort!

Oh yes, remembered something funny - twice in the hospital (a&e and in cubicles after triage) my dad was mistaken for my husband!!! Laughed quite a lot about that :-) husband was still at work and is crap at waiting rooms, just winds me up.

Also, seem to have gained an open blister where some of the tape by my canular was. Doesn't look like an allergic reaction blister as no redness or raised areas, so slightly weird. Have however had a reaction to the player i stuck on it yesterday, oops. Different brand today at a different angle to try and help.

10 weeks today :) though scan in hospital said I was around 9 weeks (23mm) when I should have been 9+4, so hopefully 10 weeks is accurate!

Hi all, I am so far behind as didn't have a chance to read up last week. treacle i am so sorry about your news, I hope you get all the support you need xxx

We told the last of our siblings yesterday- we have a wedding next Saturday with many family friends and people are going to guess due to my non drinking and larger stomach. It gets huge in the evening but is still only tiny first thing. All family very excited.

Made my phone call last week querying were my letter was about my scan. I should have trusted my gut instinct. The hospital had no record if me but GP office swore they sent the referral. Anyway there were then a number of phone calls to find out when I'm free next week (this wk) and I told them 4 days suited. I rang in Friday to confirm the appointment and got told it's been scheduled for the only day I can't do. Cue me breaking down on the phone for a good 10 minutes. The poor receptionist didn't know what to do. So now I've been rescheduled for fri 30 may. At that stage I'll be 12+3. Hormones plus a long week equalled not a happy me!

I also realised how much I was burying my fears- I really want to get the scan done and confirm all is fine. I'm so nervous but in doing a good job hiding it! I'd even convinced myself!!!

Anyway I'm now 10+6 today. Happy Monday all!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 19/05/2014 09:39

Off on another training course today until Thursday :( had a big cry about it last night because I don't want to goooo (whine whine whine). It's very stressful having to hide my symptoms at head office! One girl on the course actually asked me if I was pregnant last week because I was knitting. Please, I knit all the time, the two can be mutually exclusive. But it put the fear of god into me because she was very nosy and not very positive about the idea of me being pregnant Hmm

mopsytop · 19/05/2014 09:42

peace why was she not positive? What business is it of hers anyway!

nickyjlees · 19/05/2014 09:52

Happy birthday Mythical!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 19/05/2014 10:17

I don't know, she looked about 21 and was generally pretty unpleasant and nosy, so I'm trying not to let it bother me but I am the worst liar ever, so I'm just paranoid she'll pick up on any little thing now. I am fully prepped to tell her to keep her nose out, but I'll probably just end up crying :P

Happy birthday Treacle and Mythical

CallingAllEngels · 19/05/2014 10:21

How random peace ! I wonder what behaviour we should all cease to avoid being outed? I am going to make sure I don't stand with my hands in the small of my back and thrust out my stomach. And knitting. Of course. Grin

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 19/05/2014 10:25

Wow punky 3 days till your scan how exciting! I'm full of beans for you!! 5 days for me :) feels like a really exciting time the first scans coming through on the thread :)

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 19/05/2014 10:28

Engels I'm more concerned about rushing out of the room to throw up! Although I haven't been sick since Saturday morning, which is nice.

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 19/05/2014 10:34

Peace I felt the same re possible negativity about my pregnancy I met up with all the girls other eve for dinner and one who we all hadn't seen in ages with a child and one by one she was saying to each girl how you need to have kids cos you'll be a great mum and they stopped at me and didn't say a word! So I was like oh so they don't think I would be good with kids of my own lol granted I'm not really a other peoples kids person like some of my friends are but I'm hoping that changes for my own!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 19/05/2014 11:55

Oh did I say I hadn't been sick since Saturday? I think my body heard and remedied that for me Hmm

Whats that sounds delightful, especially if you've got your LOs with you! Hope you feel better soon, though. Dizziness is miserable.

90 more minutes at work to get through. If I have to nod along to another customer exclaiming about how hot it is outside I may scream. Every time I do something I have to allow myself a five minute sit down to recover and mop my brow!

Can everyone cross their fingers and pray to their respective gods that my trains have air con this afternoon? Thank you please!

Stay cool everyone!

Hope everything's okay whatsonemore

I think everyone must be enjoying the sunshine as it's so quiet today!

LisaC2611 · 19/05/2014 16:21

Hope everything is ok Whats

Emily it is quiet on here today. I'm working from home today as my train line decided they couldn't complete their engineering works over the weekend and couldn't run the trains this morning.

I dislike working from home as you don't have any company (other than crappy daytime tv) and when you are not busy its soooo dull.

Hope everyone else is managing to enjoy some of the sunshine.

SassehMonsta · 19/05/2014 16:27

New meds prescribed by nice dr on the phone. Collecting this afternoon/evening!
