I think that's fine shanels - mine's at 12+5, so only 3 days difference, and my hospital say they do the first scan between 12 & 14 weeks. You can have a nuchal scan (if you want one), up to 13+6 day, so should be fine.

I am having an 8 wk reassurance scan next week though saying that, just because I'm impatient!! Hoping it'll all be ok. Actually don't feel as bothered about having it now as I was when I booked it at 5 weeks or so, as feel much more chilled, but now it's booked I may as well go!!

7+6 (8 wks tomorrow - yay!)

Drfunkes, thank you. I will be back at some point but I don't know when.

ImBrian · 17/05/2014 18:11

Sorry to hear your news treacle glad you're being well looked after x

Finally got my scan date through for this Thursday. So I'll be 13 weeks when it's done.

Apart from slightly sore nipples I have no other symptoms apart from a massive belly! I've put a picture on, it's normally 99% flat so feels huge.

Hugs treacle, so sorry and glad you've got DH and your sis there for support x

Treaclepie19 · 17/05/2014 18:50

Thank you ladies. I'm still lurking but I don't want anyone to think you can't post your news.
I don't want to take over the thread x

SassehMonsta · 17/05/2014 18:53

Hey treacle, sorry to hear the sad news. Take care of yourself. The Miscarriage Association have plenty to read and other resources you can access as and when you need them.

Also rice crispy cakes - crisped rice is a fortified cereal with vitamins and iron in which are good things when you are loosing blood and very dark chocolate also contains minerals to help the body to absorb iron; and theres even some research to suggest it helps blood to clot too. Plus, making them can be a relaxing activity.

I'm not good at standing today, may have to get DH to get a bowl for me to make crispy cakes on the sofa!
