Ooh lots of scans coming up.

I'm shattered and v sick tonight. I seem to recall weeks 9 and 10 the worst - aren't they?!?! I also hav horrendous wind - yuk. I'm the OPPOSITE of blooming and look like I have a hug tummy!

I am giving birth in hospital. I am high risk after having a big haemorrhage after DC1. Smaller bleed after DC2. Based in my experience I think home births for first child are risky as I was classified as very low risk.

My pair were in the main lovely today but sometimes supe hard work. Toddlers are just crazy little human beings.

treacle hope you are doing ok. Look after yourself.

chinese you make me laugh Grin

Hope all are ok.

Ladylel · 16/05/2014 03:20

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 16/05/2014 03:30

Got home from Malta at 1am. Washing machine on and will be leaving to go to London at 11am. Told hubby who said... We can meet friends tonight for drinks to stick it up his left nostril!!

I was miserable on holiday soooooo tired. Nauseous and struggled to eat.

Feeling very sorry for myself just now. Might go back to sleep for an hour.

Ladylel · 16/05/2014 06:31

Omg bighairy yup also had wind.

Wasn't expecting aches like this until I was at least the size of a house and needed a forklift to turn over!

May as well been led on concrete the way I feel :(

espa · 16/05/2014 07:19

I already have a slipped disc so suffering from back pain too although how much is new pain is hard to say. Feel like there's two bones in my lower left back that are fused together and just need cracked apart. Considering seeimg a chiropractor when I get home after my next midwife appointment as it's not improving.

Second day of no ms, yay. Although feeling a bit yucky all the same.

LittleSarah · 16/05/2014 10:47

Hello all

Booking in this morning which was v straightforward. Mw says I should get a scan in the next two to three weeks, cannot wait!

Still feeling nauseous and tired although not quite as bad, seems to come and go in waves.

I will be giving birth at home. All my births have been at home and all very smooth and simple thankfully!

Right, at home today and determined to get some housework done before next wave of nausea!

CallingAllEngels · 16/05/2014 10:58

That sounds grim sasseh - hope you're feeling better soon in about 7 months perhaps How long do you ahve to stay in for?

Getting through nausea and tiredness by eating doughnuts.

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 16/05/2014 11:01

Littlesarah please tell me all about your home births! It's what I'm thinking of doing as hate hospitals don't want to have a drip and monitors etc and think I would feel most relaxed at home so labour would be better if that's possible?! Half the worlds population are giving birth in the middle of the desert without pain relief and doctors so I should be able to right?!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 16/05/2014 11:07

All I want to eat is orange juice and salt. On the menu today is a glass of, yes, orange juice and soba noodles with soy sauce. Google tells me this means I'm having a boy, but more likely I just have a calcium deficiency ha.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 16/05/2014 11:09

Jealous of everyone considering home births and midwife-led units. I'm a fatty so I'm assuming I'll be hooked up to every machine going (visions of Monty Python and the machine that goes "ping").

Treaclepie19 · 16/05/2014 11:17

I'm with you on the Orange juice and salt!

Also with the weight, I got it down just over a stone before conceiving but still overweight.

Anyone just watched this morning? Tragic story :(

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 16/05/2014 12:02

I'm feeling anxious about my weight. The scan won't be able to make anything out because there'll be too much fat to get through. The midwife/doctor/whatever will say I'm terrible for being so fat. They'll think I sit on my arse all day eating pizza and drinking full-fat coke.

I went through a dreadful time a few years ago when my hypothyroidism was being diagnosed of GPs not believing me when I told them what I ate/how much I exercised. I was sent to a dietician who said I was eating/exercising properly so there must be a medical reason I couldn't lose weight.

I know people say you can't be obese and fit, but I don't get out of breath exercising, my job is very active, I climb hills on the weekends, I don't smoke, my periods are like clockwork, I don't have high blood pressure or any sign of diabetes, and I eat a healthy and varied diet. I'm just horribly fat. Is it possible for these things to defend me despite my size? Will I just have eyes rolled at me?

Sorry for being so self-absorbed when people are going through horrible things of their own. Just having a paranoid five minutes. I'm struggling to keep my meds down as putting anything in my mouth that isn't food (chewing gum, tablets, straws, toothbrush) makes me vomit, so that's probably having an effect on my mind. Blah. Blah blah blah.

Treaclepie19 · 16/05/2014 12:06

Oh Peace, I know some medical staff can be vile about weight but not all are.
You sound like you are healthy and keeping active so don't let them bother you. I know it's easier said than done.

They've not mentioned weight to me yet. I'm a size 14 on top 16 on bottom. Down a dress size from when I started ttc.

Someone has just written on my Facebook wall "dreamt you had a baby", don't need that suspicion with all that's going on.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 16/05/2014 12:15

I'm a size 22-24 :( :(

That's spooky about your friend's dream! The night before I found out I was pregnant I dreamt one of my friends was having a baby.

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 16/05/2014 12:19

It's so sad that at a time so miraculous as creating a new human being that we need to be worried about our weight but that's society for you! I'm a stone overweight and in the overweight bmi category but the midwife didn't seem too concerned I have tried so hard last few years to get into my ideal bmi weight bracket but it's just not sustainable for me and my lifestyle and I don't think we should be made to feel bad about that! Chin up ladies :)

Treaclepie19 · 16/05/2014 12:27

I agree emily :)

I was edging over the obese category before I lost the weight. Only about 4 lb under that category though now.

Haha peace, aren't dreams odd? I'm gonna have to just laugh it off.

Starving yet again. Waiting for my sister to come over and bring me food :p
Also unable to drink the water from the tap today. Smells like bleach. Yuk.
