Excellent. A post that could have been a one line throwaway comment in the middle of a page is the starting post for a new page. I don't even..

BlueC2 · 06/05/2014 00:40

Hee hee ismarah at starting a new page :) thinK mine are too which is frustrating as I think part of it is my ribcage expanding and whilst I have plenty of feeding bras from DS in next cup sizes they're all in the same band width so really hoping I'm not going to need to buy new this close to 'the end' so to speak.

I've been unable to fall asleep for last 2 hours grrr. Been to the loo what feels like a million times only to produce miniscule amounts of wee each time too. Now on the sofa hoping change of location might help! Just so tired - need to sleep!

ZingWatermelon · 06/05/2014 01:13

Blue

buy some bra extenders.
admittely they might change "efficiency" of bra.
mine are so badly fitted anyway, the extenders don't make much difference! Wink

Oh dear blue and zing another sleepless night? Sad I came on to say how amazing it feels to sleep until 5.30am! But will say it in a very small voice- I did wake up and need the loo but managed to get back to sleep. This plus new medication is making me feel human again!! Wow!

Anyway the problem with new pages of thread is I can never remember who said what to respond!!!

I think it was auntie who said about c section for spd- my physio was very much encouraging active birth so don't think so...

daisy a friend of mine runs a short term lettings company- not much use if you aren't in Nottingham but worth a Google for your local area incase someone does similar nearby?

plate hope your not suffering too much from over doing it.

zing I feel the same- God has got me through this very hard pregnancy!

Who knew I would actually enjoy gardening now we have a garden??! Yesterday we started training our apple tree to grow sideways. Previous owners had started but let it go- have attached Google pic of what it should look like!

Well, DS has trottered off very happily with the childminder this morning-he was SO excited! She's just back after 2 months off and I think he's missed her- I know I have!!

zing and ismarah bras- yes, may try extenders once I've rooted through my extensive selection of maternity and feeding bras: I was a 32D when I fell pregnant with DS. By his EDD I was wearing a 36DD as couldn't bear anything tighter. Once my milk came in I had to get 34FF! And also have a selection of DD, E, and F cup sizes in 32 and 34 band size Blush far too many bras!! But then that's what happens after pregnancy and then breastfeeding for nearly two years-at least I've had good wear out of them all even if I've spent a small fortune :)

Full day interviewing today as part of recruitment frenzy - main challenges will be trying not to fall asleep during an interview, and trying not to distract people with all the shuffling about and contorting that I need to help control my back pain when I'm sat down all day. Perhaps I could just pace the room instead, that wouldn't be intimidating would it? Grin

BlueC2 · 06/05/2014 09:54

plate I think the pacing the room firing questions as you go would be perfect ;) hope you don't totally seize up and that the right candidate is there for you today!

AuntieMaggie · 06/05/2014 10:59

Ugh. Is it home time yet?

plate I'm in a similar boat - if I sit too long my hips and back ache but if I move around too much my pubic bone is agony :-(

I dug my bra extenders out this morning... Bliss...

Only 6 weeks/24 working days til maternity leave - eek!

ZingWatermelon · 06/05/2014 11:07

good luck with interviewing!

30 weeks today. what? WHAT? when did that happen?!

31+2 here zing and I'm having thoughts about going into labour early in the office!

ZingWatermelon · 06/05/2014 12:09

Maggie

I swear I have such "periody" cramps every now and then that it makes me think I'm dilating alreadyConfused

zing I've had a couple too. baby has moved (i think) from the lovely head down position its normally in that is most comfortable for me to one that is more pressure down there though feeling movement all over the place so wouldn't be surprised to give birth to an octopus!

Been reading this thread which is lovely to see what we've got to look forward to!

Plateofcrumbs · 06/05/2014 13:38

I've got one of those kneeling stool/seat things on order which will hopefully arrive in the next couple of days as the 'stabbed in the ribs' pain is driving me mad and making it hard to focus.

Weighed myself for the first time since my booking in appointment this weekend - I've only put on about half the weight so far that I would be expected to by full term. Which raises frightening questions - how big will this bump get?! Given I had to take a breather half way up climbing two flights of stairs this morning, how will I be able to move at all in 10 weeks time?! Definitely starting to appreciate a little how the last few weeks are just thinking 'get this baby out of me now!'

AuntieMaggie · 06/05/2014 14:24

I am deliberately not weighing myself as it will just upset me especially as I haven't been anywhere near as active as I would like to have been due to ankle (which appears to be really fecked judging by the lumpiness of it) and spd. Besides which I am still wearing pre pregnancy clothing 90% of the time a so the weight gain appears to be concentrated on my belly... (she hopes) I may cry when they weigh me at 36 weeks

liquidstatehasrisenagain · 06/05/2014 14:28

I am mostly in maternity clothes (except jogging pants and some t shirts) but weigh less than I did at the midwife booking in appointment. Only a little less but still...

Its because of the vomits because I certainly havent exercised. I would rather be fat and not sicky all the time to be honest.

lentilpot · 06/05/2014 16:33

Was sick out of the blue this morning - definitely felt like morning sickness not illness but was a bit of a shock as it's been months since that happened! I suspect I overdid it slightly on a weekend away with my friends this past weekend as I am knackered, stomach is still feeling a bit iffy and my back is killing me. Bless DH though, he is picking me up from work even though it's just a ten minute walk.

ItsAlwaysBetterOnHoliday · 06/05/2014 17:54

I just feel sooo knackered and zombie like today. I don't know how productive I actually was, although I know I got some work done. 7 weeks to maternity leave. Need more sleep.

ZingWatermelon · 06/05/2014 18:43

I had a dodgy stomach and felt sick all morning.
then I went to bed.

cereal for dinner - today's a total write-off

ItsAlwaysBetterOnHoliday · 06/05/2014 18:51

Sorry you're not feeling well lentil and zing.

Cereal for dinner may actually be a plan. Possibly toast if I can muster the energy to cut bread.

AuntieMaggie · 06/05/2014 19:05

Also feeling shit... feel sick and have an ache in my lower stomach :-(

BlueC2 · 06/05/2014 19:10

Well...new glasses ordered and dentist has confirmed teeth are fine so it was definitely sinusitis causing the pain last week! Though I've rushed around too much today and now have trapped wind...soooo painful, need to dig out the lactulose I think!

For those feeling rough or exhausted today I think it's just going to be one of those things going forward for the third trimester that we have greAt energetic dys and totally knackered no energy days...frustrating but our bodies are very busy feeding a small human so they can put on lots of weight...to subsequently wear us out more by making our bumps heavy :)

DS super hyper after a fun day with the childminder though we have somehow coerced him through bath time and into bed, no idea when he'll actually fall asleep though!

icklekid · 06/05/2014 19:42

Oh dear sorry for all feeling unwell I will be joining you in the cereal for tea club! I was fairly sensible over the weekend but not today at work. Literally did not stop then realised that a lot of the work I did when unwell last week was wrong and needs doing again Sad sigh!
Only positive is its another day done only 28 more at work to go, when that figure is under 20 will be delighted!

mummytobejuly2014 · 06/05/2014 19:46

strange so many of us feeling unwell today, I felt really ill this afternoon I though morning sickness had come back also. feel ok now, just super tired, got a hosp letter saying my iron is 10 when it should be 105, back to icky iron tablets. also referred for GTT, I hate fasting & the thought of hanging abt hosp for 2/3hrs! im supposed to be 30wks+4 but whole way through ive measured the same amount ahead estimating im 31+3.

Plateofcrumbs · 06/05/2014 19:47

Did a load of mundane online baby-prep shopping this weekend, got home to find a large box of breast pads on the doorstep. Confused

ellentullo · 06/05/2014 19:52

I did an nhs breast-feeding class this afternoon - enjoyed it much more than I expected. We saw some very sweet video clips of babies snuffling around, learning to find nipples and get a proper chomp on. I was always up for the skin-on-skin thing but am totally sold now
