If you're pregnant after a previous MC and due in December 14 this is the thread for you.

If you're an obsessive knicker-checker or just want someone to chat to who knows where you're coming from you'll fit right in.

Morning regular

You're right about the weather! I've spent most of the week convinced I'm actually melting. What on earth am I going to do in actually summer when I'm bigger?!

Tired here too. I've been managing to squeeze granny naps in most afternoons (perks of working from home). Sickness is now on and off. Can't complain it is nicer than being constantly ill.

DD Is going to a brownie pack day today so I will be enjoying a peaceful Saturday before we all was too the in laws for lunch tomorrow.
MIL is desperate to start telling people (her first grandchild) just hoping she keeps quiet in front of DD.

2 days until scan woohoo! Happy Saturday Ladies

regularbutpanickingabit · 14/06/2014 08:33

Oooh, good luck with the scan!
I keep hoping that the hot weather will be easier when I out of exhaustion/sickness phase. I hope!

MrsFtn · 15/06/2014 08:52

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a relaxing weekend and happy fathers day to all the daddies and daddies-to-be Smile

Great to hear you have successfully found hb with your monitor penguin. You're right it is a little addictive. I'm trying to limit myself to once a day but if I'm having a wobbly day I may do it more!

covent I did pregnancy yoga from weeks 14-41 in my first pregnancy! I found it extremely helpful. We learnt about breathing techniques and birthing positions for labour, massage techniques, relaxation techniques, exercises to help specific pregnancy ailments etc. It is also really nice meeting other pregnant women and sharing experiences face to face. In fact I didn't do any other antenatal classes because I found my pregnancy yoga class so helpful. I had never done yoga before so I don't really know how it compares to 'normal' yoga.

Good luck for your scan Franks what time is it?

Great to see more bump pics. I met up with my four 'baby friends' from my first pregnancy on Friday night and I hadn't told any of them I was pregnant so it was lovely to see their faces and they were all so kind and lovely. They were a big support to me through my miscarriages so it is nice to share with people who understand what we've been through.

DH was up watching the football last night so I'm trying to keep my DD from waking him up yet but she's so desperate to give him his father's day present and card I fear I may have to give in very soon!

FranksBobot · 15/06/2014 11:11

My scan is at 9:30am so thankfully I don't have to wait impatiently all day. I'll have to leave for the hospital straight after the school run and mornings are always chaos in this house.
Me and Dd have spent the morning baking cupcakes for DP. He isn't her biological dad but he may as well be. She adores him and he does everything a dad should do for her. She made a card for him at brownies too. We don't buy presents for mothers/Father's Day not sure why! Always felt handmade card and cupcakes or handmade gift is enough.

Off to the inlaws for lunch and praying his mother doesn't mention the B word in front of Dd. Fingers crossed all is well at tomorrow's scan and we can tell her. Although I think he might have guessed!

Have a great Sunday everyone

ParanoidCoventGarden75 · 15/06/2014 15:04

strawbs what a sweet little bump Smile

frank good luck with the scan tomorrow, not long to go now. Definitely agrees, no need to buy anything for the sake of it, handmade presents are best, so much more personal.

thanks ftn, that sounds great, i've heard lots of good things about pg yoga, i might give it a go, (just found a class close to work)

regular fx ms goes away soon for you.

tmi: my digestion has been blocked for 3 months now, i've nearly finished the bottle of lactulose the doctor prescribed (it didn't help btw), and i've read that i should limit prunes when on baby aspirin. Not sure what to do, hoping exercise will help things moving a bit.

14+3

Penguin13 · 15/06/2014 18:46

Good luck for your scan tomorrow Franks definitely good that you don't have to wait long in the morning. Let us know how you get on (of course!).

I think I am going to resort to using a yoga DVD as 4 hours a day commuting doesn't leave a lot of time for classes.

So wonderful to be able to share some good news Mrs especially with those who know what you've been through.

That sounds like a lovely Father's Day Franks. I am all about the handmade gift - so personal and special. Talking of which I spent the weekend stencilling some personalised babygros for a friend's Zumba instructor whose classes I used to go to. Quite chuffed with how they turned out. Hope your MIL kept schtum over lunch!

Good luck Franks!

DH is all footballed out so I've been watching today's matches without him. How did I end up married to a man who can take or leave the world cup Confused

Hope something helps Paranoid.

FranksBobot · 16/06/2014 16:00

All good at scan, 12+4 today so due Christmas Day. Baby moving loads (just like DD)
Consultant was a bit of a prat if i'm honest. Didn't listen to a word I said but i was too happy to argue so will just get him next time!!

basgetti · 16/06/2014 16:15

Great news Franks!

My scan is on wednesday, feel like I've been waiting forever!

FranksBobot · 16/06/2014 16:22

Basgetti I know how you feel! Today seemed to take forever to come around. How is your sickness now? Mine is slowly easing off, its no longer daily so there is a glimmer of hope.

basgetti · 16/06/2014 16:59

My nausea is still really bad, but the actual vomiting has reduced with the new tablets so feeling a bit better thanks. Glad you're doing better x

Penguin13 · 16/06/2014 17:21

Brilliant news Franks. So lovely to see them moving away isn't it? How annoying that your consultant wasn't listening to you. Like you say though, the main thing for now is that your mini-Frank is doing well Smile. Potentially the best Christmas present ever.

Not long now Basgetti!! You have been so patient watching and cheering us all through our 12 week scans, now it's your turn!

MrsFtn · 16/06/2014 18:10

Hooray franks I've been checking in all day waiting to hear your news. Lovely pic too!

Hope Wednesday comes quickly for you basgetti gladto hear the vomiting has subsided.

CallingAllEngels · 16/06/2014 20:28

Lovely pic franks .

I've been a bit quiet on here. Just back from weekend with my dm. Lovely to be looked after..she and my dsis were fab with ds, giving me time to nap and have a looong bath. Back to work though tomorrow

My father's day present from ds was a weekend to himself, 2 lie-ins and a toblerone from the ferry! Grin Ordered a photo card with ds on to arrive over the weekend while I was away - dh said it made him cry!

12w+1

regularbutpanickingabit · 17/06/2014 08:30

Great news franks! Basgetti - good luck with your scan on wed.
I am in for 2 days of work hell starting now... 2.5 hours commute each way and each day then a full day of teaching. I can't tell them about being of yet for various reasons and just praying the sickness/exhaustion kicks in when I get home and not before!
14 weeks today. Surely I will start feeling better soon? Please?!

Penguin13 · 17/06/2014 11:25

Regular poor you. And I thought my daily 2 hours each way was bad. If you're on public transport don't feel guilty about asking for a seat. You need to conserve your energy especially when you are feeling so ill. Really hope everything goes as smoothly as it can for you.

ParanoidCoventGarden75 · 17/06/2014 18:16

franks congrats on the successful scan Smile

basgetti good luck for tomorrow, at what time is it?

what's with the flags popping up after the names, have i miss something?

CallingAllEngels · 17/06/2014 18:21

regular that sounds horrific!

Sympathies to everyone still feeling rotten.

Winding down for end of term here but have a stack of marking to finish before test week then reports/meetings/planning for next year. In 4 weeks time I'll be getting ready for a lovely holiday in France with Dsis and DBIL [happy]

12+2 (and think a few students have finally twigged, though too polite to ask me yet!).

CallingAllEngels · 17/06/2014 18:24

Flags are for the worl cup paranoid . You can change on your profile. Am surrounded by Orange here so have gone for the Dutchies fickle fairweather supporter that I am

FranksBobot · 17/06/2014 20:45

Good luck for tomorrow Basgetti

Blimmin 'eck regular that sounds awful. I really hope you feel better soon. Fingers crossed week 14 is the magic sickness vanishing week. (I'll be counting down the days if it is!)

Calling That sounds like a fab fathers day present, I adore toblerones. Its lovely that your DM looked after you whilst you were there. I'm secretly hoping mine will do the same when i go to visit in a couple of weeks. Very jealous you have a holiday to look forward too.

Paranoid I hope your digestion is easing up a bit. Mine seems to be better than it was now i've managed to eat weetabix daily. Drink plenty of water too.

I've chosen the Italians as I really fancy spaghetti carbonara at the minute!

Hope everyone else is keeping well.

basgetti · 18/06/2014 00:20

Thanks for the good luck wishes. My scan isn't until 1.30 so lots of waiting around in the morning, been very anxious today! I'll update tomorrow, hopefully with good news and a scan pic of my own x

CallingAllEngels · 18/06/2014 06:21

Good luck today basgetti

franks I would be dancing a jig at a child free weekend but dh said he was lonely and miserable without us (next time I'm leaving him a list of things to do!)

DrFunkesFamilyBandSolution · 18/06/2014 06:51

Good luck Basgetti!

Penguin13 · 18/06/2014 08:19

Not long for you now basgetti be thinking of you at 1:30
