Treaclepie19 · 10/05/2014 08:12

Ugghhhhh I'm off to this football match. Hurry up half 12!

MademoiselleG · 10/05/2014 11:11

Good luck treacle!

Treaclepie19 · 10/05/2014 15:26

Thanks! Wasn't as rainy as it could've been and our team won every match they played :)

Tilly28 · 10/05/2014 15:48

Glad it wasn't too rainy treacle :-)

I'm feeling really light headed today? Had a spell of if first thing and again just now. Anyone else felt like this?

Treaclepie19 · 10/05/2014 16:11

I had it a few days ago Tilly, all normal apparently :)

fancyacupoftea · 10/05/2014 17:15

Been at school doing revision sessions all day but get home and there's my letter from the mw with my booking appointment - 27th May which is good because it's in half term. I'll be 8+4 then (6+1 today) so trying to decide if we want an early scan before seeing mw.

Can I just do a hands up? Who is/isn't having an early scan?

PolytheneGirl · 10/05/2014 17:36

I'm not.

Tilly28 · 10/05/2014 17:39

I am! :-)

lindamagoo · 10/05/2014 17:39

I'm not.

Tilly28 · 10/05/2014 17:40

Phew thanks treacle seems to coincide with me feeling hungry so going to try eat more! :-)

Treaclepie19 · 10/05/2014 17:43

I am but not private.

My booking appointment is the day after fancy :)

lindamagoo · 10/05/2014 17:51

I've just ate a whole pizza, every last bit, never left a crumb Shock

CallingAllEngels · 10/05/2014 17:56

I am at 8+1but not private, offered because of prev mcs and appt slot is only 15 mins. Our 1st proper scan will be at 10+5 at booking in appt.

Th only time I DON'T feel sick is when I'm eating, so will probably be the size of a house b te end of this trimester.

MademoiselleG · 10/05/2014 18:12

I don't know yet! I've phone my gp yesterday as I had light spotting and he said he might refer me, so maybe I will?
In-laws are coming next week and we thought it might be nice to put scan pic in a box, wrap it up and wait for their reaction when they open it Grin

PolytheneGirl · 10/05/2014 18:31

My Mom has just made a comment to me on the phone about my son being an only child, along the lines of, I know you were only able to have the one baby but he really is more than enough, he's amazing.... She's going to lose her shit when we break the news!

Starbright24 · 10/05/2014 19:37

I'm not going for an early scan. Going to wait for the 12 week one. I'm starving!!! Oh does all cooking in my house ...wish he'd hurry up lol.
28 th may half term midwife appointment for me too :)

Treaclepie19 · 10/05/2014 23:09

Second sober night out tonight. Managed quite well, no awkward questions really :)

Driving home I had to break really sharply though and have stressed myself out. Having shooting pains in my lower stomach which are probably just wind but I do get in such a state.

MademoiselleG · 10/05/2014 23:49

Ah poly, that's a v sweet thing of your mum to say though, don't you think? I'm reading as a "I know you'd probably want more and I'm trying to make a helpful comment so you don't feel too awful that you'll only have him"-comment.

Ha, little does she know!

Starbright24 · 11/05/2014 07:14

So..Yesterday, I told my mum she was going to be a granny again. Her reply, 'is your sister pregnant again?'
Lol - and she knew we were trying. Confused

Zermatt · 11/05/2014 08:06

I've decided not to have an early scan. But can understand if there's any worries is a great idea to put your mind at ease. My friend told me that if you can see the heart beating at 8 weeks there's a 95% chance of carrying the baby to term. Although don't quote me on that as I haven't read to see how factual that is. Either way though if you are worried at all and it will help you relax then worth doing.

Treaclepie19 · 11/05/2014 08:21

Haha oh starbright, don't parents say the oddestate things.
Mine got me Krispy Kreme and a bracelet yesterday to cheer me up :) I was most surprised!

I've read that too zermatt, at my next scan I will be exactly 8 weeks so hoping all is well.
7+4

fancyacupoftea · 11/05/2014 09:31

Morning!

I'm tempted to tell someone this weekend. ANYONE really. Might tell my bf. Tbh OH and I have run out of pregnancy related things we can talk about without actually making plans for the baby!

Glad other people are experiencing The Hunger. Insatiable!

Zermatt · 11/05/2014 09:51

I was an unstoppable telling machine fancy. I've told my best friends in oz (excuse being one has had a baby here so can advise me on the system and also need support from both, as so far away from home), then I told my best friend at home, no excuse needed there, I'm surprised I don't already tell her when I fart as we pretty much share everything. I told my parents and then my sister, and 2 more friends at home, just because, you know I was kind of on a roll. I'm only 7 wks 4 days. It's nice telling people, they get more excited than my DH who is more deadpan than Jack Dee would be after you've told him you've accidentally run over his cat.

fancyacupoftea · 11/05/2014 10:07

Lol Zermatt!

I really want a scone with clotted cream and jam this morning.
