I agree with mademoiselle, it really sounds like you need the support poly.
Also don't ever feel like you can't talk on here*, we're all here to support each other :)

Treaclepie19 · 03/05/2014 09:37

Argh cross posted again!

Littlebear81 · 03/05/2014 09:51

Poly that's awful, you poor thing. When you mentioned your eyes being affected before I thought you meant you'd gone from having perfect vision to slightly short-sighted now needing glasses. What an awful thing to have gone through and it must be very scary for you at the moment. Don't be worried about sharing/ranting on here but I agree maybe it's time to tell your mum.

Certainly puts the rest of our symptoms into perspective! Thanks

barmybunting · 03/05/2014 10:56

Poly, you must have such a mix of emotions with all of this. I didn't realise how much it had already affected your vision in your previous pregnancy and how it could again. I think telling your Mum is a good idea if you want someone to confide in, she will want to give you hugs! I really feel for you.

fancyacupoftea · 03/05/2014 10:58

I agree about telling your mum Poly. You need her and she will be there for you!

lindamagoo · 03/05/2014 11:02

Poly I've just read your post, so sorry this pregnancy is making your eyes worse. Will you be able to get treatment after the birth?

I just got my BFP today so would like to join you lovely ladies if you don't mind?

fancyacupoftea · 03/05/2014 11:08

No Linda, bugger off

fancyacupoftea · 03/05/2014 11:09

Joooooookes. Yay so pleased you're here! Congratulations!!! EDD?

lindamagoo · 03/05/2014 11:10

Aw fancy I know you don't mean that. You can't refuse a fellow penis dragon lover Smile

lindamagoo · 03/05/2014 11:10

EDD January 11th

Treaclepie19 · 03/05/2014 11:29

Hi linda :) Congrats!

PolytheneGirl · 03/05/2014 12:30

Thanks everyone Smile. I'm so glad I've got you all to talk to.

Congratulations Linda! What cycle were you on?

lindamagoo · 03/05/2014 12:35

Cycle 2 poly, that's why I'm in so much shock. Was convinced it would take over a year cause of our age

PolytheneGirl · 03/05/2014 12:38

Wow. That's good going! Well done!

lindamagoo · 03/05/2014 12:42

Thank you. I'm putting it down to using softcups, they kept the little swimmers in Smile

MademoiselleG · 03/05/2014 13:54

Hurray, another PDG (Penis Dragon Graduate). Congratulations Linda!!

We'll, I'm here to report that I definitely have started getting the dreaded n.a.u.s.e.a... Was sitting in a lovely, trendy blah blah cafe having lovely civilised brunch with friends, dh and dd and couldn't drink my coffee or face my waffles and made a very untrendy dash to the loo after attempting the coffee!... So I stopped on the way home to buy those GinGin ginger sweets I was addicted to last time, as well as ginger cordial and ale! Might try the little wrist bands but that's a sure giveaway at work.
We are having a dinner party tonight with friends we rarely see and thinking of telling them just so I don't feel pressured to stay up late and be sociable - I'm feeling really rough and the thought of cooking for 8 is making me gag. Boak! It's not a crime, announcing before 12 weeks, right?

5+0

Poly, all the best Envy

fancyacupoftea · 03/05/2014 14:19

Nah course it's not a crime! Tell who you want to mademoiselle!

I'm nausea free at the moment but your post has worried me that I'll be expecting it this week. Have some ginger altoids in my drawer ready and waiting.

Just had a wonderful nap! Screw you, insomnia!

Treaclepie19 · 03/05/2014 14:36

Oh dear definitely tell them if you feel you need to.

I'm 6+3 today. Still no real nausea just sort of feel like I have a hangover today.

CallingAllEngels · 03/05/2014 14:46

poly your condition sounds really scary. I would tell my Dm, especially if she was around to give me practical help.Itmust be so stressful.

barmybunting · 03/05/2014 15:41

Congratulations Linda!

Mademoiselle, just order a takeaway tonight when your friends come over and say you're getting over a bug if you don't want to tell them? I have told various friends who I didn't intend to tell until late due to the constant nausea and just generally feeling too crap to bother hiding it and I have to say I have been glad I did. I couldn't have faces trying to hide it more than I've had to. I have also turned into a complete recluse over the last 6 weeks, so it was just easier to tell people.

Someone on the other thread I'm on just posted a link to antisickness bead bracelets which work on the same principle as the bands, a quick google brings them up and they look much easier to hide? I have also taken to wearing my sickness bands all day in a vague attempt to stop being sick so I am going to order the bracelets I think.

PolytheneGirl · 03/05/2014 16:24

On the plus side I received my booking appointment letter in the post today. Roll on Friday Smile

Starbright24 · 03/05/2014 16:28

Welcome over here Linda. Congratulations.

I've bought ginger + lemon and raspberry herbal teas and hope they'll make a difference if I get nausea. Being optimistic with the -if - there.
Wiped today and tiny bit of brownish colour. I'm sure it was nothing at it was the teeniest bit but it is difficult not to worry isn't it.

4w

lindamagoo · 03/05/2014 17:09

Aw thanks lovely ladies, it's a pleasure to be onboard with you all Smile

Starbright24 · 03/05/2014 19:37

Soooo tired. I need to start napping.

Treaclepie19 · 03/05/2014 20:03

I know the feeling starbright.
Cramps are back. Just when you think they've gone. Ugh :(
