merk bloody hell, that was quick! Congratulations. I'm looking forward to hearing all the details (and maybe seeing a pic?) later. Enjoy the snuggles. x

bugs I am Shock at that comment!

ALittleFaith · 21/03/2014 10:58

Oh congratulations Merk! Thanks

Well done that merks!

Looking forward to hearing more.

Austria is awesome, I'm so glad we came and I've been able to do as much skiing as I would normally do anyway. Baby is finding it very interesting, if the frequency of kicking is any indication!

KatAndKit · 21/03/2014 14:03

Wow Merk! You got that done quickly! Congratulations!! Looking forward to hearing more, expect you are a bit busy right now :)

Not that I recall, bugs but I switched when I had full on evil crampy heavy red bleeding and thought I was mcing, so I was a bit distracted. I was very bloated in the first tri though. My stomach used to blow up through the day (which it always has a bit due to IVF but this was something else). I can't remember if it was better before the switch though.

Well done Merks!!!

I can't remember what flavour you were having.

eurochick · 21/03/2014 21:05

bugs just eat more cake. I had a visible bump at 10 or so weeks after necking loads of carbs to keep me from vomming!

FrankelandFilly · 21/03/2014 21:28

Just looking back through my pregnancy photos, I had a small bump at 14 weeks and by 17 weeks it was definitely noticeable.

Things are a little better Chez Frankel today, E has finally had a poo - her first in 5 days which is a huge relief. Also we've been told today that HWHNN doesn't need to go to Germany for his pre-deployment training so we get a bit more time together as a family before he heads off. We're trying to put in place a support network of people I can rely on while he is away, so I'm very up for lots of PESH/BESH meet ups to keep me sane for the next few months!

KatAndKit · 21/03/2014 21:43

Aaah that is good news on both counts. Was it a nice white outfit that finally did the trick?!

FrankelandFilly · 21/03/2014 21:50

It was Grin, she also managed to wee all over herself while we were cleaning her up!

CatsCantFlyFast · 21/03/2014 22:31

We are home and all fine. Birth was an adventure, but I suspect exactly what many would want, 7.5 hours from first contraction to delivery, 0 to 7cm at home, 2 paracetamol and delivered in the pool (gas made me puke immediately). She's a chunky one (8.10oz) called Edie. Can't do pic right now as on the phone but will do tomorrow. Breast feeding is tough! But we've already had 4 pooey nappies so the other end works fine!

KatAndKit · 21/03/2014 22:44

That sounds like a textbook birth! Bet it is nice to be home again though :) enjoy cuddling up with your snuggly bundle

FriendofDorothy · 21/03/2014 23:12

Edie. How lovely! Sounds like a perfect birth.

cherrycoconut · 21/03/2014 23:18

Moonlighting in to say a big 'ol fat fishy hurrah to the new babes and their filled nappies. Well done Frank and Merk, made up for you both.

Cheering you on sinks... Backing right out now. As you were PESH...

FrankelandFilly · 21/03/2014 23:27

Well done Merks and such a lovely name. Birth sounds about as good as it gets and glad you're home so quickly. The feeding is tough going, but stick with it and drink loads of water to keep yourself hydrated.

maamalady · 22/03/2014 08:00

That sounds lovely, merk :) Glad you're all okay and doing well.

merk it sounds like you did brilliantly. Congratulations. :) :) :)

frank I am happy to hear that the Foal's bum appears to be working again, a little too well, by the sound of it!

bugs that's a great milestone to be passing.

FrankelandFilly · 22/03/2014 09:44

In case anyone is interested, I've found the Lansinoh breast pads a real help in trying to keep my sore nipples at bay. They are normally about £5/£6 for 60 but I've just bought some from Amazon - £15 for 240! Link here

KatAndKit · 22/03/2014 09:50

Ooh thanks they are the best ones I will be stocking up.
