Yes I have some funky crocodile wellies from tesco. They tend to start at size 4 or 5 which is what most one year olds are in. Brantano sell kids wellies too. So do JoJo maman bebe if you like spending lots of money.

FrankelandFilly · 22/03/2014 10:12

What about trying TK Maxx, if you have one nearby?

FrankelandFilly · 22/03/2014 10:12

KatAndKit · 22/03/2014 10:22

bugs I had weeks of headaches. I had acu once I got into the 2nd tri and it gave me about 2 clear weeks. They are back now, but at least not daily. I found a little bit of caffeine helped (I was off coffee because of the mc risk, but a coke or decaff (which is well under the "safe limit") seemed to ease the headaches a bit.

It will be fine. The reason heavy lifting is not recommended is because you might hurt yourself. There is no reason why it could harm the baby as far as I know.

Oh bugs. I agree with Kat - the reason is that you might do yourself an injury because of the relaxin loosening your ligaments, but you are probably not far enough in for that to be a big issue.

I hope the dog is ok. You are really going through it with your pets at the moment.

But: CONGRATS merks that was quick. Enjoy the newborn snuggles.

Hurrah for being the most pregnant ever, bugs.

I'm here, lurking mostly while E is permanently attached to my boob. My first bit of advice - breastfeeding is bloody hard work!

Sorry about the poorly pets Bugs, how are they doing this evening?

Merks hope the snuggles are going well.

Sinks how are you doing?

Sorry to hear girl dog is so poorly bugs. Is cat any better?

Just make sure you always have a drink and food to hand frank, I gather those are the essentials of bfing...

I'm heading into my 3rd night of no sleep. Am getting semi regular contractions, but only getting down to 5 min intervals. Spoke to triage in the early hours, but they don't want to see me until they're 3 min apart. So I'm not sleeping, spending an inordinant amount of time in the bath and otherwise wearing the tens machine as if my sanity depended on it. Moan moan moan. Am struggling with it all at the moment. I think I can cope with this, but am just getting progressively exhausted.

FrankelandFilly · 24/03/2014 21:02

Very unfair Sad You're right, you have to look at how much you are prepared to put them through and rake whatever decision you feel is best.
