Old thread is getting full so here's a nice new one for all our moaning, paranoia and getting each other through it. Can someone do the honers and copy our edd list over? Maybe link the old thread too?

Yes pebble I am! We have not DTD since January. First of all during IVF you can't, then I got ohss which meant my ovaries were massive and cystic and too sore, and now I am nauseous with no energy.
It's all good reasons but I know it's hard for him, he feels very unwanted and unloved. That's not the case at all, I love him more than ever but cannot show him in a physical way.

Kittylou1 · 02/03/2014 10:38

Trying to tidy up this morning but feel so tired and sick urgh! Have to keep sitting down...

MrsDinoRawr · 02/03/2014 10:38

we have not dtd since we conceived. when i was bleeding last time doctor said no sex until bleeding stopped. ended up having mc. i have been spotting this time so we have decided not to dtd at the mo. not even interested due to mostly feeling sick all the time. do feel bad for DH though :(

mrsb87 · 02/03/2014 10:39

We've only dtd twice since jan but on my terms. Luckily dh is very understanding, I'm struggling even being touched with this HG.
Mrsdino I would have reacted the same way, maybe he will be a bit less cheeky now he's been bitten back at!

ohthegoats · 02/03/2014 10:44

I've discovered that I can battle through the slight urgh feelings about sex, and afterwards it was absolutely worth it. We've had to be a bit careful with positions due to painful boobs etc, but orgasms help with nausea and the boob pain, if only for half an hour. I 'battled' on in the first place because I got the rage that it wasn't going to take that away from me too, before anyone thinks it sounds bad!

mum2kiss · 02/03/2014 11:33

Yeah we'll have to talk it through. It just annoys me (More than usual) that I will have to be the one to wave the white flag. He NEVER gives in or admits fault! Usually I dont care but right now i just think HMMPPH!!

We have continued to dtd a couple of times a week since the bfp. In the beginning I was worried about mc but I feel a bit more relaxed about it now...

Weve dtd once since bfp but I started spotting the day after and had to have an early scan, all is fine but im too worried (and knackered) to try again yet, dp has been fine about it although im sure it helps that hes getting a bj every couple of days.

Had to go to the emergency dr this morning, I have a chest infection so have been given anti biotics I havent stopped coughing since friday when I couldnt get out of bed, managed to do some bits yesterday but was up all night coughing and my chest and stomach hurt. Have got to go to mil's this afternoon but really just want to curl up in bed

CareBearWithFangs · 02/03/2014 13:18

Was hoping one of you lovelies might be able to give me a bit of advice. I'm really struggling with morning sickness and I'm throwing up prettying whenever I move. Have spent the whole weekend on the sofa. Today I haven't kept any food down. I need some help but who do I contact midwife or doctor?

BlueberryPoppy123 · 02/03/2014 13:22

What does bfp mean? It's popped up a lot and I've just pretended I new what it meant but don't have a clue...

I haven't dtd since conception either... Was unwell and then had awful cramps now I'm always way too tired and go to bed hours before DP... With my first I think I had a sex craving and he used to complain about it twice a day (the complaining didn't start until a few weeks in) now he's complaining about not getting any I can't win lol

BlueberryPoppy123 · 02/03/2014 13:24

carebear call your dr if you haven't been assigned mw yet... Drink plenty of water and try eat ginger biscuit they helped me with DS pregnacy

mrsb87 · 02/03/2014 13:32

Carebear, have you managed to keep any fluids down? You need to go to the doctor if you're not keeping anything down. I would call your ooh doctor asap as the longer you leave it the more likely you'll end up like me in hospital on an IV.
The foods that have helped me are salty snacks like wotsits, salt and confidential snack ajacks. Ginger biscuits really didn't help me. Water didn't stay down very well but lemonade, juice, tonic water and coke have been good.
The doctor will hopefully give you some anti emetics like cyclizine or something similar. Please get something sorted today!

mrsb87 · 02/03/2014 13:43

Confidential? ! That was meant to say vinegar. Silly phone

CareBearWithFangs · 02/03/2014 13:45

Thanks mrs. I have kept some water down, but no food. If I keep absolutely still I'm no being sick, but keeping still won't be an option through the week.

DD is now doing impressions of me being sick which is just delightful.

I have left a message with midwives and I'm going to call docs tomorrow. At least I know I've kept some fluids down.

mrsb87 · 02/03/2014 13:56

Before I started taking the ondansetron the dizziness used to make me very sick.

CareBearWithFangs · 02/03/2014 14:05

Yes it's the dizziness, just walking into the kitchen is making my head spin which then makes me vomit.

I feel so sorry for DD she just covered me with a blanket and put her dummy in my mouth.

mrsb87 · 02/03/2014 14:29

carebear forgot to mention orange or lemon flavour ice lollies are good Smile

Me23 · 02/03/2014 15:40

care sorry to hear how awful you're feeling. You need to ring OOH gp so they can refer you to hospital for rehydration if you can't keep anything down. Any illness pregnany related prior to 20 weeks will be dealt with via gynae or a&e maternity don't usually see women until post 20 weeks.

Caught up with the following last night, and watched the te new Stewart lee show love him! We have true detective and blacklist to watch on sky + loved the 1st series. Also call the midwife on tonight, I would advise any one who likes the show to read the trilogy of books I read them during my training and cried a lot! Ooh theory who like obem if you want to see a series that features more normality and home births then watch the country midwives starts this thurs at 9 on bbc wales (will be on freeview, Virgin and sky)

Think I'll have my booking appt week after next once my colleague is back from her holiday not sure what day yet and I'm on nights that week so won't be feeling great.

porcito · 02/03/2014 16:40

carebear crackers and flat coke were the only things I could eat for a while without throwing it up. Hope you feel better soon!

Yesterday, was looking forward to the whole day doing absolutely nothing, ended up being taken to a wine festival by DP. A wine festival. I was raging. The only two things there: wine and soft cheese. On days like that I don't feel guilty at all about not DTD with him! The doctor told me pelvic rest when they found the internal bleeding so I've got a good excuse medical reason to avoid it.

Anyone else still having horrible pains when they sneeze? I've still got a horrible allergy type thing happening and I'm convinced I'm going to sneeze out my uterus or something equally disgusting.

ohthegoats · 02/03/2014 17:17

I've got a permanent weird pain on my right hand side - been there for 2 years. My doctor dismissed it as coil pain the first time, then tested me for sti's the next time even though I knew I was clear. I ended up having the coil out to try and get rid of it (and looked what happened!) It's only slightly more noticeable now, but I reckon when I get scanned they'll find a cyst or something. It twangs more when I sneeze or cough, and more now I'm pregnant.

Captainmcgraw · 02/03/2014 17:41

Blueberry BFP = Big Fat Positive e.g a positive pregnancy test. All these acronyms can be very confusing. I think there's a glossary of them on Mumsnet somewhere

ohthegoats · 02/03/2014 18:04

I've only felt sick a tiny bit today, which has led to an incredibly productive tidy/diy type day. Long needed, so feeling dead virtuous.

only slight down side is that my left nipple is agony - it feels as if some rodenty type animal with sharp teeth is hanging off it. Boyfriend was slightly bemused to have me ask loudly in the biscuit aisle at co-op "is there some sort of meercat creature that I cant see clinging on to my nip?"

TroubleAndFyfe · 02/03/2014 18:43

I still have the awfully painful sneezes Portico! I had them with DS too. I remember it getting better in the magical 2nd trimester!

pebble82 · 02/03/2014 19:04

Ooh on the sneezing pain I'm glad others have this too. I was in the car when I sneezed and thought I'd done some serious damage. Had to pull over then find the nearest loo for crotch watching as was convinced I'd be bleeding.

Loopylu84 · 02/03/2014 19:51

Sneezing thing here too! Also getting the same sudden pain if I go from sitting to standing really quickly, feels like a ligament/muscle pulling so don't reckon it's anything to worry about

Hope everyone is feeling ok! Smile
