Old thread is getting full so here's a nice new one for all our moaning, paranoia and getting each other through it. Can someone do the honers and copy our edd list over? Maybe link the old thread too?

Still in PJs here too. Sorry for all those also feeling terrible today. Also having a day of being a raging beast. Bf didn't speak to me yesterday night because I didn't tell him I loved him on the phone. He's either also pregnant, or the human growing inside me isn't going to be the only baby in the house.

Woke up today feeling sick but without the sore boobs, obviously straight to google, now feeling paranoid and sorry for myself. Whoever said pregnant women should be banned from google was definitely right.

BlueberryPoppy123 · 01/03/2014 15:28

Rsdinorawr yes taking blood at home is fine they bring their own disposal equipment with them for the needles...

Having a really good day today despite the fact it's a work day... Spent the morning doing a bit of gardening in the lovely sunshine and my dad arrived with flowers for me :) had cuddle and nap with DS... However im sure by the end of my shift I'll be walking into the floor! Barely eaten at all today... While the rest of you all seem to be sick or constantly hungry... I am constantly forcing myself to eat anything as I'm just not getting hungry...

thegirlwhouk · 01/03/2014 15:44

Well our scan went well!

All looking good with a nice heartbeat which we heard! Not much to look at - a blob at best! I think the pictures are pretty hilarious if I'm honest!! But glad we did it, DH said it made him feel officially excited :-) Looking forward to the 12 week when hopefully it will be more baby like.

BlueberryPoppy123 · 01/03/2014 16:25

thegirlwhouk amazing news your scan went well... I'm very jealous of you right now and all the rest of you who got early scans!!!

mum2kiss · 01/03/2014 16:31

Yay for good scans!

Dont even know when mine will be yet...

Bugger - I'm starving as well - I had to lie on the sofa gibbering last night as I was just so hungry until DH made us dinner because I didn't want to eat yet another snack (it seemed like I had a snack every hour on the hour yesterday). I'm supposed to be watching my weight gain this pregnancy, but I am just so bloody hungry.

I think I might have to start eating dinner with the DCs at 5 and DH can eat on his own later - I just can't wait until 730/8 for dinner at the moment.

Reading your posts; interestingly, my little pregnancy apps daily blog was today featured around that 90% of partners experience pregnancy symptoms in parallel with their pregnant wife/girlfriend!

tak1ngchances · 01/03/2014 18:53

Today I've eaten a banana at 7am, then coffee, nuts, and jelly babies (!) at 9, then toast, poached eggs and avocado at 11, ryvita with butter at 1 and waffles and fish fingers at 3.
Have got a chicken roasting in the oven now and loads of potatoes and veg. Will have chocolates for dessert.
That is about twice as much as I normally eat but right now I am ravenous. Again. Hmm

Bumpforme2014 · 01/03/2014 19:19

Wow I am loving hearing all about what others are eating, I am also more hungry now but finding I get full very quickly when eating then after an hour or so hungry again.

Today I have had two slices of toast, waffle and beans, cheese and crackers, some popcorn, chilli and rice, two duck pancakes and will be tucking into some pancakes with lemon and sugar later on :-) this is also much more then I usually eat, normally I don't even really eat lunch at all.

Me23 · 01/03/2014 19:46

I'm eating way too much at the moment and I promised myself I'd eat healthy this pregnancy!
Today I've had
Shreddies
Jacket potatoe with beans and cheese
Crisps
Quorn spaghetti bolognese
Chocolate pudding with cream!

Apart from hunger and tiredness I have no other symptoms the amount of times I've told women not to worry if they don't have symptoms not every one does etc...I should know better than to worry about it but it still doesn't feel real and I worry about a mmc. I may be a midwife but I'm a worried pregnant woman too!

CareBearWithFangs · 01/03/2014 20:46

I have eaten today

One piece of toast with scrambled egg and smoked salmon

Waffles and fish fingers

Sweet and sour pork balls with noodles (homemade) - didn't each much though because was feeling so sick.

Bag of black pepper popcorn

Toast with butter and honey.

Me23 hope your not worrying too much, I'd say I'm sure everything is fine but you already know that Smile

Just watched latest episode of the blacklist. It was amazing.

ohthegoats · 01/03/2014 20:55

What is it with potato waffles? Amazing...

I've eaten three waffles with baked beans and coleslaw for breakfast.
Shared a normal sized packet of crisps with bf on the beach.
Went out for a fancy-assed lunch, had starter and half a main course before feeling sick and having to stop.
Might try some icecream in a bit.

That's it today. Seems to work alternate for me, some days loads and feeling fine, next day not much and feeling rough.

I feel much better than I did this morning - nice dose of spring and a wander around Brighton seems to have worked. That and a proper frank conversation with boyfriend about the stuff I'm scared about. I think I'm still in shock that I'm pregnant, I really never imagined it would work for us. Don't quite know why though. Anyway.

BlueberryPoppy123 · 01/03/2014 20:57

Just home from work... Man am I tired!!! My back hurts like hell for being on my feet so long, told my supervisor who did a strange little jump and told me she's been waiting for me to tell her for weeks!!! I said I wish she'd told me as I haven't even known a week haha... Completed my risk assessment and she promised not to tell my colleagues :) so yay! Was weird to actually say 'I'm pregnant' to someone as I realised everyone else I have told I've not actually said it... I've sent pics of pregnancy test or made posters or put it on my sons tshirt to tell people... So yea it was strange for me ha!

I've eaten 3 teeny bags of haribos, a packet of crisps, a icecream from the icecream man, and some macaroni and cheese... Oh and about 100 ice cubes... Anyone else craving water??? I think it's probably because I don't drink enough but I've started going through loads and love it with ice in...

ohthegoats · 01/03/2014 21:07

Jelly (and icecream), lemon squash, lemonade icelollies and water. Yep!

MundayCakes85 · 01/03/2014 22:16

Evening all, just come back from drinks out with friends. Had to leave early as everyone was getting tipsy and I'm bored of orange juice! Also feeling pretty fat, can't wait to look pregnant Smile
Today I've eaten crumpets, poached eggs on brown toast, chocolate and a cupcake and left over curry. Could easily eat a second dinner by now!!

mum2kiss · 02/03/2014 08:27

I ate all day on Friday...cant even remember what I had but i know I ate continuously!

Well things with dp did not improve yesterday. My mum asked if I wanted to go over to my aunts to drop off birthday presents. I told dp we wouldn't be long...then when we got there my mum just wouldn't wrap things up and leave! We didn't get home until midnight and I wasnt able to let dp know that we'd be so late because dd had killed the battery on my phone! When we got home I heard dp switch off the upstairs lights. When I got up there he was clearly pretending to be asleep. So this morning he's up and I'm in bed dreading the frosty reception I will get!!! I switched my phone on just now to find he'd sent a couple of texts asking if we were alright...

not looking forward to today!!! Really hope my pelvic pain has gone...

ToffeeJungle · 02/03/2014 08:44

Mmmm am liking the sound of waffles!!

Yesterday I ate:
Special K
A few breadsticks (these are my saviour to fend off the sickness)
Bacon butties
Apple
2 x satsumas
Bar of dairy milk caramel
Pie, chips & carrots

And that was a relatively healthy / good day!!

I also went out for a meal on Friday night with friends, first girls night out in ages. Food was delicious tho... 30 seconds after getting home I threw it all back up!! Certainly wasn't as nice seeing it second time round....

officelady · 02/03/2014 09:11

ooooh bacon butties! You lucky thing Toffee!
On Friday I had no appetite to speak of so just grazed all day on fruit and ryvitas. Apart from my highly dangerous dippy egg for breakfast.
But yesterday BAM! appetite returned with a vengeance. I use Myfitnesspal to log all my food and exercise when I can be bothered to do any and I had over 2,000 calories which is way over a normal day for me. Usually I'm somewhere between 1300 and 1500.
I ate:
Massive bowl of cereal (about 3 portions) with milk (which made me feel a bit queasy)
Small bar of chocolate
Cornish pasty with salad, chutney and mayo
Mini cheesecake
Packet of crisps
Caramel cake bar
Pizza with salad
Garlic bread
An orange (token effort to be healthy)

I've woken up starving again but am starting the day with a boiled egg in an effort to be good. Will have a big roast dinner later but not too unhealthy because I will do loads of veggies. I have never felt so ravenous in my life - in my last pregnancies I went off food altogether for the first 10-12 weeks and lost loads of weight. I only got up to 8 stone at 9 months pregnant with dd, this time I started off at 8 stone and I've lost a pound god knows how but I will no doubt pile on the pounds later if I get that far.

mum2kiss can you explain to your dp about the phone battery - he was probably worried about you. But my dh does the sulking thing when we have a disagreement - and to be honest, so do I!

MrsF2510 · 02/03/2014 09:33

Last week I felt hungrier than normal and ate a little more but now and this answers your question about embarrassing symptoms mrsDinoRawr I have got constipation and so don't feel like eating much at all as am literally full up of sh*t! Am already eating normal amounts of fibre / veg as eat quite healthily so am drinking actimel, drinking lots of water but I am just not getting "the urge". Solutions gratefully received!!!

tak1ngchances · 02/03/2014 09:42

Sparkling water never fails to get things moving for me! A big pint of something with large bubbles like highland spring. Not fancy San pellegrino but proper fuzzy stuff.
10 mins later - job done Wink

MrsDinoRawr · 02/03/2014 09:47

mum2kiss hope you can talk through i and he will understand.

I am still in bed as I feel too sick to get up. DH just said (apparently joking...) you don't need to be sick its in your head. Grrrr. Resulted in swear words and tears. Darn hormones.

ohthegoats · 02/03/2014 10:24

I'm a different person this morning, don't even feel sick yet.

Got to clear out a shed later, so hopefully nausea won't will have returned by then.

pebble82 · 02/03/2014 10:25

I'm feeling bad for tapping DPs wandering hands away this morning, again! I just really don't feel like DTD. Anyone else feeling bad about this?
