Eeeeek Maybe that's so exciting! Brooking for a lovely sneeze birth soon
Pomme, I did indeed move when pregnant with DD1 too! Glutton for punishment
. We hadn't planned on moving so quickly (estimated 5yrs in this house), but a combination of a good fixed rate mortgage being available, help to buy, the perfect house and DH now being able to work from home lots of the time mean it's a good time to move. Plus I'll have MA to cover the gap when we move, meaning I won't suffer too much from a lack of students!
Too, so sorry to hear about the physio work not sticking. You should definitely get a workplace assessment. When pregnant with DD I had one (due to my back as well as pregnancy), and it meant I didn't have to lug heavy keyboards around schools, teaching rooms had to be set up by the teaching staff etc. I'm sure they didn't love me for it, but my work were very insistent!
Lovely scan news Dino
Thanks for the well wishes Smegs, Maybe and Too (and anyone else I missed out). Scan not until next Thursday. Can't believe it's still so far away... especially as I look huge and am firmly into maternity clothing now. Have an important work day in London tomorrow (which I don't do very often) and nothing to wear that doesn't make me look about six months pregnant
. The cramping and pain is on and off... I think it's a combination of sickness, stretching, and clothes in general being uncomfortable... probably plus a lot of nervousness. The lack of sleep isn't helping either!
We've potentially reserved a house, so waiting for the paperwork to go through to see if we've got it or not. If we have, we could be moving as soon as a month and a half - eek! On the plus side, this house has a perfect kitchen/dining room for a home birth..
