Absolutely! You'll be amazed at what you can do when you're filled up with that love hormone, oxytocin! (You may want to keep her rugs clean though, in case you fancy a little recovery nap at the yard Wink)

Isitme I hope your foot is feeling better today?

Daytona, we have the same due date (27th Sep) and it's my first pregnancy too and terrified too, though I'm starting to relax a little.

Kittyrose and Charlieis30 Hungover is exactly how I feel all the time, but I haven't touched a drop! Tired, nauseous, headachy and have that feeling that I need to eat something to feel better, but don't really want anything.

I'm thinking about making a trip to buy some sickness bands today LH1981. I have constant nausea that only occasionally disappears (usually after eating). Last 2 days I've also had a constant headache, but thankfully woken up without it today. I find if I keep busy, I am less focused on the nausea. Thankfully no vomitting, but quite a few close calls and visits to the toilet thinking I would vomit. The only foods I fancy are very plain like white bread and chicken and maybe very mild cheese. I'm managing to force down veggies, but it's a struggle and normally I love them.

This weekend I tried to go for a jog, as I've been so lazy the last few weeks and I used to exercise a few times a week. To start off I felt great being in the fresh air and my nausea went. My energy levels are really low and really it was more walking than jogging, and then towards the end I got hot jogging, I nearly vomitted. I do not feel like I want to go through that again, so I'm thinking about trying to find a yoga class instead or maybe I'll just walk more.

I also feel hot and cold at the same time in a strange kinda shivery way intermittently. We had the heating and fire on yesterday, but I still sort of felt cold sat next to the fire. I don't have a temperature though. I normally feel cold a lot anyway, but it seems to be a bit worse since being pregnant. Whether its because I'm being so lethargic and normally I'm always doing stuff round the house?! I kept falling asleep whilst reading my book this weekend.

We told our close family this weekend. That was quite exciting and special. If all goes well, our parents will both be grandparents for the first time. It's nice not to have to pretend anymore to them, and they'd all sort of been guessing anyway. My mum said I'd looked really ill the week before and she spent the journey home telling my dad how worried she was about me, but now it all makes sense and apparently I look better this week! I was also due to go to spa with partners mum this week, and she knows I normally love a hot sauna and jacuzzi, so she would have guessed.

broodylicious · 10/02/2014 08:26

missing I have some of those sickness bands and find they have helped manage the nausea a little. I got mine off eBay though as the prices online are much better - I paid just £1.79 with free postage but in boots they're about £8! They're brand new, proper seller...gotta love eBay!

Would be worrying more if lots of you lovely ladies hadn't said how common it is!

Morning ladies not with it this morning and can't spell lol xx

duzzlightyearsmum · 10/02/2014 09:58

BooSurprise I'm in Oxfordshire so I'm guessing you must be too? I haven't heard anything from them yet but am fairly confident my care will involve constant blood tests and last time my hydrocortisone levels dropped dangerously low along with my sodium and led to a seizure when DS was 6 weeks old! Praying for not too many needles though, god I hate the buggers!

Still having some morning sickness but I'm really hoping for not much longer as I will be twelve weeks next week!

Missingcaffeine · 10/02/2014 10:25

I have my fingers crossed for you Charlie. It's so common, so hopefully it's nothing to worry about.

Thanks Broody I will have a look and get some ordered. I love eBay!

LH1981 · 10/02/2014 10:26

missing hope the bands work for you, they definitely help me although they don't eradicate the nausea completely.

Just been to burger king with some of my school mum friends. We usually go there for coffee as there's a little play area for the toddlers so we get to have our coffee in peace. However, seeing as I'm off coffee, today's order was a full fat coke, an orange juice and a cheeseburger - how embarrassing Blush

Good luck Charlie hope it's nothing to worry about. Let us know how you get on xx

rockin20s · 10/02/2014 10:50

charlie fingers crossed
isitme you poor thing, have you seen a doctor about your leg?

ladies i am gong to eat super healthy this week! lots of water, fresh veg, and little of no carb....hopefully my hips have gotten massive

i think my inlaws have guessed! DH thinks im over analyzing everything but even FIL started asking about who was driving saturday night (SIL Birthday drinks) and who was driving Sunday (after SIL birthday lunch). up to now it was just the MIL asking these questions, FIL normally is happy to sit and watch whatever sport is on TV.

But i really dont want to tell them till the 12 week scan is done, if something was to go wrong i would prefer to deal with it in private as the MIL would drive me up the walls helping sitting drinking cups of tea wanting to talk while i want to be in bed

also got some bad news my dads partner has to get some serious surgery next week so we have decided that we will wait to tell them until she is fully recovered which could take a few weeks. my dad and PIL live 5 mins from each other so cant tell one without the other so they will all have to wait!

charlieis30 · 10/02/2014 10:59

Bad news I'm afraid, ultrasound showed sac 2 weeks to small so looks like I'm miscarrying naturally. Otherwise booked for d&c in one week :(

How is everyone feeling today?

my healthy eating went out the window at lunch time as i was starving and had no idea what i wanted to eat! but i am trying to keep up my water intake

Lottystar · 10/02/2014 15:41

So sorry Charlie. I was in that position in October, I know how you're feeling and how awful it is to be told that during a scan. Look after yourself, lots of tlc and it slowly gets easier day by day x
