I'm also feeling more energy which is good, but nausea still taking me by surprise too - agree worse at night - boo!

Flymo-I booked mine on the way out of the 12 weeks one. It's on 19th march when I'll be 21 weeks exactly!

Thanks hungry...yes its horrible not being able to help the. GP checked him over and as per usual its a virus ontop of the last one hes so bad being sick when he coughs wish it would just bugger off!!!!

wow! congrats on having a 20 week scan date 2beornot, it's great that you could book while you were there. A bit sickening having to wait for a letter to come through!!
I did get my wretched glucose tolerance test date through though, it's at 28 weeks (in May) which feels very far away. SO hoping I've stopped feeling so ill in the mornings by then!

I've also booked my 20 week scan. It's on 26th March when I'll be 20+6. We always book the next one while we are there at my hospital.

I don't envy anyone the GTT.

Is everyone having the whooping cough jab later on?

Flymo, I booked mine on the way out of the 12 week too - date is 21st March. But the next date for me is the 18th Feb - next midwife appointment and listening for the heartbeat!

I'm 24th Feb for that, Secretly. Can't wait!

Pina mine took two weeks to arrive, so it might be in today's post for you If not, maybe give your hospital/GP a call to see if they've had the results?

Might have to give them a quick tinkle if its not arrived by Friday, but seems like a good sign it's taking so long.

I booked next Midwife apt at scan, 19th Feb, i'll be 17+5, and my 20 week scan is 20th March where i'll be 21+6!! I got a letter through for this 2 days after my scan which was promt unlike my nuchal result...

ooh, exciting to have next scan dates!! I've an appointment with the midwife on 17th, just under two weeks! How do they listen to the heartbeat, is it a doppler or a small ultrasound scanner?

Ooh yes - midwife booked for 13th March. Really hope she can find the heartbeat! I love that sound.

Not got a gtt test date but I know I'll need to do it. Hoping to book a private 4d scan for 28-30 weeks too. I did it with dd and loved it, plus I thought it'd be nice for dd to come and have a look at baby as I don't want to take her to the nhs ones just in case.

I think they use a doppler, flymo. I only had it at the first appointment last time though, so it's casting my mind back a bit!

Great to hear all about the scans! I'm a high risk pregnancy so I have a Consultant review rather than midwife appointment on 28th feb and then 20 week scan on 28th March. All my appointments were sent through after my booking in appointment.

Just wondering if I will get to hear the heartbeat at 16weeks if I am seeing a consultant and not a midwife. I'll be a bit miffed if not!!

Has anyone bought a dopper? My SIL has and admitted she got a bit obsessed with it, she has calmed down now but I think I'd get the same. A lot of people have warned you're often picking up your own HB!

Scan went well this morning and only one baby (after having dreams about twins all night!) Baby would not stay still which was a contrast to my daughter who gave us beautiful scan pictures! I also booked my 20 week scan whilst I was there and it is on 31st March!

Mine was fine although they had to have a second go as baby would not stay in the right position. Also got to book 20 week scan on way out. Do just need to wait for the results to be sent through although they said the measurement was normal.

Hello, my scan was great 2 babies in their doing what they should be, I thought they must have got it wrong at my early scan but it really is twins! Glad al the others have gone well too. I don't know how to add myself to the list but I'm 32 have a 2 yr old ds and twins are due 14th august eek.

How exciting lots of happy news scans coming through nice and fast now. My scan is tomorrow and the past week has been hell waiting. Thankfully it's early so won't have time to worry in the morning (8:30am). I just want to have a nap now and wake up to find its tomorrow morning. Been starting to feel better too which isn't helping my worry much but have to keep reminding myself this is normal and so much better than if I got stuck with MS the whole 9 months.
Is there anyone else have a scan tomorrow like me?

I've got my 16w midwife appointment on the 17th Feb then my 20w scan booked for 18th March, I'll be 20+3 - managed to book it straight after my booking in appointment, which feels like it was ages ago now! Anyone else feel time is going a lot quicker now their 12w scan is out the way?

I joined right at the beginning but I've been lurking on this thread for a little while as seriously had the fear about my scan!!

It was today and it was absolutely fine, I am so thrillled and relived! eI don't even care that I have a terrible scan picture as baby mostly wanted to show it's bum- they even gave me my 10 of scan tokens back to use again for the 20 week pictures!

Due 12th August which is about what I thought (a week off what my middwife thought- didn't believe me about weird cycles!!) Next scan booked already for 25th March.

Massive congrats to everyone who has had good news today, there are a lot of us. I have re-added myself!!

ItsSo, I wish! I feel as though time has been dragging ever since my bfp! you get one momentary reprieve from the dread with a scan or MW appointment when it all feels real and then it's back to the waiting game. it's only on weekends when I feel time is going quickly, dagnammit!!
