Morning hags! Sorry you're getting worried about induction etc, frank! And I hate the I'll tell you after birth stories. I am sure the real thing is not half as terrifying as that. Who was the last to possibly need an induction? I remember lots of good experiences a few freds ago. Whichever way turnip turns up, her and your health are the most important! Thinking of you...

On carriers, a link to the one you got frank? And did you carry faithlet in a sling, faif? We're starting to think about this stuff...

On other news I have been up cos I was hungry for a while, but I slept most of the night, so I will be glowing today Wink It's less than three months til due date

Wow shooting still, euro! That sounds brave. By now my exercise is gentle walks around the block...

FrankelInFoal · 09/03/2014 08:19

Thanks Drizz, you lot know I'm a drama llama - I'll gave a wobble about something then a few days later I'm feeling fine again Hmm

This is the carrier we bought, we got package which includes the infant insert so you can use it from birth. It is more expensive than others, but can potentially last until they are 4 years old and is more versatile as you can use it in front, on your back or on your hip. I'm also thinking about a sling for using in the house, but I'll see how I get on with the Ergo as that might be just as easy to use inside as well as out and about.

Another lovely sunny day here, so I feel another long walk coming on this morning!

maamalady · 09/03/2014 08:28

Noks was induced. If you look back to the thread just before she went in, I linked to a great thread all about induction experiences - general consensus seemed to be "not as bad as I was expecting", so might be worth a read to calm your nerves, Frank?

FrankelInFoal · 09/03/2014 08:32

Thanks Draf, I'll go back and have a look.

ALittleFaith · 09/03/2014 13:40

How irritating bugs. Glad you got away booze free!

Yes I baby carry Faithlet to this day drizz. I started with a stretchy wrap sling from my local sling lady (recommended by queenrollo and pinky ended up buying one too). More recently I purchased a hop-tye sling after trying some at a sling workshop. I liked the ergo but it was a bit too structured for my taste. Also MSB isn't too keen on later baby wearing so I could get what I wanted. If it had been for both of us I'd have probably bought the ergo. I still might. Warning - slings are addictive! :)

FrankelInFoal · 09/03/2014 16:24

Er, someone may want to get on and create a new fred as I think I might be in early labour Shock

Been having some tightenings that have got progressively stronger for the last 2 hours or so, though they're not regular yet. I've also had a bloody show so I think this could be it folks! I'll keep you as up to date as I can.

maamalady · 09/03/2014 17:24

Ooh! Exciting stuff, Frank, hope all goes (is going) well and Turnip arrives in a nice calm sneeze :)

I didn't say a time... All 24hrs of tomorrow are mine Grin

Hope things are going well, frank!

I am grumpy with a touch of madness. Is this the beginning of third trimester?!?

FrankelInFoal · 09/03/2014 19:06

Quick update, in hospital and 4cm dilated so I'm in for the duration! Hopefully more news in time for the next fred!

Hope Turnip doesn't give you too much trouble xx

We bought the pram and car seat today . We were going to wait until the next scan but went to a baby show and the deal was too good to pass up! We're now the proud owners of an uppababy vista and maxi cosi cabriofix!

CatsCantFlyFast · 09/03/2014 19:16

Sending positive vibes Frank

maamalady · 09/03/2014 19:32

Sounds good, Ginge :) Our house is steadily accumulating baybee stuff now, it's like living in some weird dreamland.

Also: NEW FRED HERE! Grin
