Poor MrsBruce and her imaginary ishoos! Grin

What's everyone up to this evening? I am unexpectedly home alone, and am a bit lonely.

maamalady · 01/03/2014 20:13

It's my last evening with my parents; I am off home in the morning. Me and mum have been looking at photos from when I was a baby - some cute, some hilarious. I can't quite get my head round the idea of me having one of those Shock

MyNameIsWinkly · 01/03/2014 21:16

Sounds like a lovely way to spend the evening draf :)

Looks like I'm the only PESH pathetic enough to be spending Saturday night MNing alone :(

I can't remember the last time I went out on a Saturday.

Granted, I went out last Sunday, and on Thursday, and am seeing friends for lunch tomorrow, and going shopping in Lille on Wednesday. So I should probably make the most of the rest.

eurochick · 01/03/2014 21:52

I'm here too.

Just been watching The Call (good film, somewhat dodgy ending).

I baked today for the first time since Xmas. I haven't been able to face looking at a combination of butter, sugar and eggs for some time! Chocolate muffins - mmmm.

Grin not worms bugs but you do have a small parasite inside you!

Mmmm to the muffins euro, I bet your house smells amazing.

CatsCantFlyFast · 02/03/2014 04:14

Awake again :( can't wait to have an actual baby so I have something to do at this time of night Grin

maamalady · 02/03/2014 08:05

Glad things are okay with your friend, bugs, she sounds nice :)

I was awake too, merk - at least from 4:20 until 5:35 - I've just woken up again feeling all dopey. Five hour drive, here I come Hmm

When I did drop off at last, I had a weird dream again. This time involving (in this order but not necessarily related to each other): a cellar full of water, shitting on a chair when the toilets were all taken, Lewis Hamilton wearing a high-collared nightie, an entire team of gorgeous male swimmers getting on a bus while wearing nothing but speedos and still dripping wet, unexpectedly getting a guinea pig thrown in when I bought an ant farm, my friend buying spices in a London market, baybee thrashing about in my belly like something out of Alien/The Matrix, and not actually losing my watch.

I think my brain is broken Confused

MyNameIsWinkly · 02/03/2014 08:12

I've been awake since just after 5, and I dreamed that my upstairs neighbour murdered someone by drilling into their head with an electric drill, and for some reason my team dealt with the scene even though I don't live in the area we cover. So draf if your brain is broken, mine is too and needs help. At least there were no zombies this time Confused

I need nap.

merk you don't have too much longer to go, hang in there. Are you on mat leave yet?

SinkyMalinks · 02/03/2014 08:13

Draf, your dreams are epic!

Sorry you were awake again Merk. I was awake at 3-4ish but had a cute cat snuggled into the crook of my arm/bump with his belly in the air so just lay there stroking him for an hour or so!

I get a subscription to Good Food (my mum tries to improve me. Is baking tastic this month, so may retry baking. I can do cooking, make pies etc. cakes and the ilk have always escaped my though. My last vicoria sponge looked more like a giant jammy dodger. I suspect my slapdash, bit of this, bit of that, adherence to recipes is the reason!

Oh, well. If we're all sharing weird dreams.... I don't normally remember any dreams, so me remembering any is a bit weird.

I was a man. Having coffee and cake with 3 other men. We kept spotting full bags of shopping on front door handles and remembering they'd been there for days. We then rescued the collapsed old folk within. The last old man had a silence of the lambs/Hannibal Lector mask on. Not sure why....

I slept well for once last night. Your dreams sound quite "special" draf, sink and wink .Confused I never remember my dreams. It sounds like this might be a good thing while diffed.

maamalady · 02/03/2014 08:36

I never usually remember dreams either, euro, I think it's a diffedness thing. So your time may come!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one Grin

Morning chaps, I've had some corking dreams over the last few nights: Friday night involved helping Tony Blair's son Euan write a book exposing his dad's dodgy dealings Hmm and last night involved the death of someone in the public eye who has the same name as our first choice name for Turnip (no I'm still not telling!) and everyone telling us we couldn't possibly use that name now Hmm Hmm

Gotta love these hormones Grin

I'm a little disappointed you're not going to stick with Turnip tbh frank :)

I need to get dressed and leave the house. Cba!!

Well we went for a walk this afternoon to see if that would help, I just ended up making myself tired as I've just woken up from an hour long nap! I think it's safe to say that a Turnip is quite happy where she is for the time being Grin

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 02/03/2014 18:31

Late at the party, can I sign for March 9th :) just to be the outlier?

I was awake at 5am too, and dipped back into crazy dreams every hour or so. Can't recall them now, just hope my subconscious hasn't picked up any tips...

CatsCantFlyFast · 02/03/2014 18:33

Frank when's EDD?

FrankelInFoal · 02/03/2014 18:42
