Honestly Bugs I think it's only hit me in the last few weeks. I know that sounds strange, but it was only when I started washing clothes and setting up changing stations around the house a few weeks ago that I "realised" this is finally going to happen.

Wow Frank. How often do you see the midwife now? Are you ready for turnip to arrive or have you become reluctant for her to turn up (like me as I'm quite enjoying having her to myself wriggling away in there)?

Urgh to runny cottage pie. But at least he has made an effort more than VVTM has for weeks

Runny cottage pie doesn't sound great.

KFZK does most of our cooking. In fact, he is in the kitchen right now, cooking up a storm. I'm in charge of baking, which is an occasional weekend activity, so it works well for me!

I have another bloody headache. I've had more since getting diffed than in the previous 37 years together I reckon. None of them are that severe, just "there". Grrr.

Euro I had a lot of headaches up until about 15 weeks, the midwife said it was hormonal/dehydration related so to just keep drinking lots of water and take paracetamol.

Merks I'm still on every 2 weeks, but it think after my 40wk appointment (Thursday) it drops to every week. I know what you mean about having her all to myself at the moment, it also helps that my body is doing all the looking after her and I'm not having to think about it!

Yuck to runny cottage pie Bugs, but at least he made the effort I suppose.

FrankelInFoal · 03/03/2014 07:47

Morning all. Sorry to report no baby Bugs - would you like to place another bet?!

Still no twinges to report so I'll be off for another walk today and bouncing away on my ball. I am producing milk though - if I give my boobs a squeeze I get a few droplets so perhaps we're getting there (sorry if that's TMI Grin).

HWHNN is back at work today until Wednesday so preferably I'd like a few quiet days without having to worry about getting him back from that there London!

SinkyMalinks · 03/03/2014 07:58

Morning folks.

Do you think the bouncing is doing anything frank? I'm so fed up now, and just want this over. Cried last night for 90 min because we didn't have enough hot water for a bath and I couldn't work the boiler Hmm. I am going insane. This baby needs to be evicted.

God only knows Sinks! I figure the use of gravity has to help somehow! Someone told me you get the weepies, then you get the rage, then you're ready to have the baby! I had a bit of a grump on yesterday morning, so I'm hoping I'm nearly there. She's pretty much fully cooked after all!

FriendofDorothy · 03/03/2014 08:30

I am completely bloody knackered.

I am considering pulling a sickie tomorrow so that I can stay in bed. I am not sure I can cope otherwise!

maamalady · 03/03/2014 08:34

Morning everyone. Today I am not going to do very much at all :)

MyNameIsWinkly · 03/03/2014 08:54

Oh sinks, not good. Any chance you could go for a nice swim to take the weight off your feet? It isn't much longer now, though I'm sure you feel like you've been diffed since the dawn of time.

dor will the Little Mister let you rest if you pull a sickie? Or could you go snooze in someone else's house?

SinkyMalinks · 03/03/2014 09:44

I'm waiting in for a delivery today (the nct bednest? I've rented it. Have high hopes for it, will feed back!). Had been assured last week it will be today, but also that I'd get an email confirming. Which hasn't arrived..

Can't lug the Hoover up the stairs anymore, and ghj has agreed to do it with a big sigh without any sign of progress for 2 weeks. So have just been on my hands and needs picking up the fluff and cat hair. Have now pulled a muscle in my back....

Seriously. Seriously. I cam not cut out for late pregnancy.

MyNameIsWinkly · 03/03/2014 09:46

Grrr to ghj Angry on your behalf. It doesn't take a lot of effort for a fit and healthy man to run the hoover round the place. Dick. Your poor back.

CatsCantFlyFast · 03/03/2014 10:04

Frank lots of hip circles on the ball and I will get shot for saying this deep squats (only to be done by people whose baby has engaged). Both will open up your pelvis a lot more than bouncing, so will get baby to drop onto the cervix and that should get you going Grin you could be back home in time for pancakes tomorrow!

I'm rotating as I type Grin Honest to god sex is the furthest thing from my mind right now, plus HWHNN is away until Wednesday night, so unless you're planning on sending Benedict Cumberbatch round Bugs that one will be a last resort!

MyNameIsWinkly · 03/03/2014 11:41

Rotating as you type - what an image frank! At least you can ring up your mum and maturely 'ner ner ner ner ner' at her for being so wildly wrong about Turnip coming super early.

draf I too am doing very little today. I am tired.

The Little Mister is at the childminder's tomorrow so I could just stay in bed!

eurochick · 03/03/2014 13:21

That sounds like a plan Dor!

Nice rotating frank. Wink

ghj needs a kick up the @rse, sink.

dor, definitely do it. Make tomorrow the day you have a hot date with yourself though, don't just skulk feeling guilty. Have something nice in to eat when you get up after your snooze, then have a warm bath with some nice smelling oil and a cup of tea if you have time. You'll feel a million times better for it.
