Good morning all, congratulations Pink - how wonderfull, sounds like the perfect labour.

My dh is trying to be on his best behaviour he has been warned not to upset me at this stage. So far he is taking notice - dont know howl long it will last though, his biggest concern right now is where to go to wet the babies head when it arrieves

PinkTulips · 30/07/2006 12:05

micku, congrats on Talia coming home sweetie, you must be so excited. just popped on to say a quick hi while i'm on the pc showing Caleb to my dad via webcam... will sort out messenger over the next few days and put all of you on it... far to frazzled right now though!

melsy · 30/07/2006 12:10

Olivo I think theres a few norty hubbys about who need a talking too. Ive just given him a warning this morning !!

Welllllllllllll I had an interesting evening , dh stormed off upstairs at 10ish and left me having surges, I stayed downstairs till 12:30 having them every 10-15 mins. Then thought may be I should get some sleep. Due to the argy though I got all tense and stressed after spending all day calming and relaxing, I was very very upset. So spent the night waking every 2hrs, surging all over the place, pacing the room , looking out the window, breathing and trying really hard to calm.

Im feeling tired & a bit sicky this morning & tightenings havent stopped,Im tense and having period like pains but Im fighting the tension with breathing and visualising . MY mums said to all go out for lunch with the family , so all my hospital bags are now in the car & Im braving it , I feel like Im a little mad going out , but cant lay all day ,may be later , unless Im on the way to hospital!! The restauarants down the road from it !!

dreamy sorry your feeling yuck too, do u think its a bug or early start to things???

Cant stop thinking of you Booby , hope your ok xxxxxxxxx

dreamydowler · 30/07/2006 12:55

olivo · 30/07/2006 19:25

Hi again everyone! I indulged in a whole half a lager last night and then felt sick as a dog! think thats why I'm so grouchy today.

sarahlou1uk · 30/07/2006 19:38

I had 1/2 a glass of cider the other night to be 'sociable' but wished I hadn't. Didn't like the taste - my taste buds must be off with pregnancy!!!

Dreamy i would love to go for a drink with everyone after the birth!

i had wine the other night, I wanted it really badly but it just made my heartburn worse. Cant wait to have champagne, wine and camembert after the big day!

lun I have my tens machine on order with the midwives. We get to hire them for however long you need them for £5. I think we pick them up in 2 or 3 weeks. Cant wait to play with it!

sarahlou sorry you havent been feeling good - I havent either, I can relate. And funny though I have been craving chinese!

melsy how are you?

burstingbug · 30/07/2006 23:16

Evening all!
It seems to have been really quiet on mn today, or is it just me with that Sunday feeling?
Spent most of today looking for more cloth nappies in toddler size for ds who's about 28lbs as his tots bots 2's are quite a squeeze!
I ought to go to bed but cxan't be bothered really.

burstingbug · 30/07/2006 23:17

ooops, maybe with a typo like that I should be asleep!

YellowFeathers · 31/07/2006 07:14

Morning gals.

Micku, great news that Talia is coming home. That must be some relief for you.

Melsy, how are you doing today?

Eeny, if everyone is happy with sharing their pics, I would be more than happy to do a montage. You'll just have to send them to me. I'm sure it would be lovely but the only thing is that people won't know whos baby is whos!

I now can MSN
Only thing is that its in dh's name and he uses the net alot so he may get the msg's before me but that doesn't matter.
The addy is lee underscore brayford at hotmail dot com.

If someone could MSN me this morning just to check it works that would be fab!

Had a funny weekend. I haven't really posted about this here before, partly because I don't want to bore you and secondly don't want to scare the first timers
but dd is going through a right old time of it atm. Her behaviour is shockingly bad and dh and I have come to the end of our tether. I've been in tears over it, infact I was last night and dh is just in despair.
I'm going to start a seperate thread in behaviour/development so if anyone has any miracle cures please shout

dreamydowler · 31/07/2006 09:43

good morning all hope you all had a good weekend Ive got really bad heartburn this morning have tried everything to shift it and it just wont budge Its raining here and is nice and cool finally dh put the crib together yesterday it is gorgeous still got loads of cleaning to do so going to get on and will catch up with everyone later xx

olivo · 31/07/2006 11:14

dreamy - I need you to pass on some cleaning vibes to me - the house is a tip and I cant be bothered to do anything about it! we had a light shower this morning but now warm and sunny again so will spend the afternoon outside i guess!

dreamydowler · 31/07/2006 11:23

believe me Id much rather be sitting doing anything but cleaning but im aware that the house is now ridiculously messy and time is running out so dont really have much choice
Its been raining here all morning so cant use the good weather as an excuse I need to have the hall which has the entire contents of the toy cupboard all over it cleared so my dp can repaint it as it is currently covered in scribble from dd age 3

YellowFeathers · 31/07/2006 11:25

I've emptied and re-filled the dishwasher.
Does that count?

Got my lovely new washing machine coming at some point today and I'd saved a load to try it out but the weather doesn't look too great atm.

olivo · 31/07/2006 11:29

YF - you can do some of my washing if you need a test run! there's plenty of it! oh and you've inspired me to go and empty the dishwasher now.....

YellowFeathers · 31/07/2006 11:31

Oh the excitment!

dreamydowler · 31/07/2006 11:46

I want one of those washing machines that holds 8kg loads but cant afford one just yet
