my section will be on the 14th of august at 8 am and will hopefully be out of hospital onnthe 18th yeah

i love my consultant

eenywifemum · 31/07/2006 12:20

I can use some cleaning vibes too! I am not feeling too bad today so I should be able to get some stuff done.

Yellow - I dont know how that montage works but can you write things over the pics? Like a baby pic that says 'Yellow's baby...' at the bottom of it?

dreamy my heartburn has gotten really bad lately, any time I try to lay down so I havent been sleeping. I read in my baby book all these natural remedies and they said to eat some yoghurt or milk before bed - I did and my heartburn was much better.

I am doing alright, my hyperemesis is getting worse again for the last few weeks, I have a feeling it will be like this for the rest of the pregnancy. Oh well! I am just counting the days til it is over now! Like everybody I guess (besides you lucky girls who have had yours! )

Afternoon girls

Well done booby , bet you are so so relieved.

I had a good appt with my special care midwife , she thought my birth plan was very good and just suggested changing a few little bits. She thought Ive been doing very well the last few days with 'surges' and hopes that its helping me dilate a few more cms'. She says by the shape of me I dont have long to go at all. She said I need to make sure I sleep and rest as much as possbible (its just wot to do with my frenetic lo). It was great ,as she did hypnobirthing for her last child , she undertsood my want to use different words and terminology for things . The only problem with it , is that you can fully dilate withought much ado (as you are encouraged to listen to CD and lulling music to keep body and mind focused but relaxed) and then may just be about to drop as you get to the maternity doors!!!She read out all my notes from dd's birth and I was totally calm and it didnt freak me out at all, well only a teeeny tiny tiny bit. I then asked to go down to the delivery suite for a good nose and I actually got excited seeing it all, A HUGE change to 6 mths ago were I nearly had a panic attack being there and couldnt keep the tears back. Soooo all in all a good experience and a real good test of my hard work in therapy. Another part of the jigsaw filled in for healing from the last 3 yrs. She gave me a hug and said did I want her as a 3rd birth partner and then joked that may be no cos shed be sobbing and sobbing for me!!

Anywhooo I really want to natter on msn (Im an addict to yellow!), but cant as I didnt log out at home and Im at me mums for lunch.

speak soon , keep on surging vibes please !!!!!!!

Salamander · 31/07/2006 13:45

Congrats Booby!!!!!

What have you decided with your F&F???
"Consultant strongly suggests due to babies position that I shouldn't deliver vaginally"
???

eenywifemum · 31/07/2006 13:46

Melsy I am so happy for you, AND proud of you too!! You deserve to be happy and excited at thinking of the birth, you have worked really hard for it. Give yourself a big pat on the back from me! And I am sending you lots of surging vibes!

KEEP RAINING!

sarahlou1uk · 31/07/2006 15:48

Has everyone emigrated to msn then? I'll have to see if I've still got it on my computer.

eenywifemum · 31/07/2006 15:57

i think everyone has but I have a sentimental attachment to this thread and want to keep it alive and kicking! also for those of us who dont have msn.

Plus if I talk to one person on msn, I miss out on other people's news! A balance of both!

evening

Well Im back from the madhouse that has been my sisters house , yes I was at my mums earlier , but went with her to collect my neiece and nephew from camp , as my sister has been away this weekend.

Sat In my sisters kitchen , my mum not knowing waht to do 1st, as Ive been surging every few mins and then 10 since 4:30 and shes also been looking after my dd and the other 2 !!!

Ive been writing it all down since then as couldnt get my head around timing, Im not sure if its happening or not as it seems to have been trying to find a pattern since last wed, but theyve gone back to roughly every 10mins.

Dh just put a curry in front of me , I think ill eat and then get into bed soon after.

speak soon !!!!

aprilgirl1 · 31/07/2006 20:42

good luck melsey .... news soon please... this is getting exciting aint it?? xx
eenywifemum i found only way to solve swollen feet was to sit with feet in cold water was painstaking at 1st but brought instant relief x

dreamydowler · 31/07/2006 20:43

wow melsy I definitely think things are progressing all be it slowly Hope you can manage to get some sleep will try to catch you on msn later I know what you mean aprilgirl my partner likes to have a couple of cans too Oh eeny my ankles are so swollen too and have been for weeks the only thing that seems to work is when I lie down on my left side and drink lots of water then I seem to pee it all out later but then I get heartburn oh the joys of pregnancy lol
