burstingbug · 31/07/2006 22:20

Am I the only one who hasn't felt anything other than normal movement? I'm feeling quite left out, no twinges not even any bh's
No swollen ankles either!
10 days to go, somethings got to happen!

Hi everyone

Well i was up again last night with bad pains which eased off, then have had a show tonight, have rang delivery ward and they have said something may kick off tonight, having niggly pains but panicking slightly as i am booked to have a section next Friday, god knows lol.Just have to wait and see what happens i guess!

I am 37 + 1

YellowFeathers · 01/08/2006 07:28

Woohooo Pucca!
How are you today or am I to late to ask?

Am rather disappointed that I'm not getting anything. No niggles really just the occasional intense Bh's but they aren't very often. I hope something kicks off soon. I've to make another appt for MW for next week if I'm still here but I'm so reluctant too because I sooooo don't want to see her!(in a nice way obviously!)

Is everyone ecstatic about the weather?
Its raining here atm and I am so tempted to go and walk the dog now in it but it seems a tad early.

Just bought a nursing bra off ebay. New, buy it now, £8.00! Not sure if I'll manage to BF but at least I have one if we're successful. I spent £25 on one last time and it never had the labels off!

Where are you all anyway?
Meeeeeeelllllllssssssssyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

trix1 · 01/08/2006 07:45

Oh Pucca - good luck and keep us updated.

Aprilgirl, ive been taking the rasberry tea tablets, and too have been thinking about the castor oil, it was actualy on one of those birth programmes yesterday on sky, where the midwife recommended the mother to take it to kick start labour and the next scene showed the women coming into the hosp in labour. Ive been asking around about it and most people seem to think it works. Im 38 weeks now so think i might be a bit early to think about taking it - maybe next week

dreamydowler · 01/08/2006 08:15

good morning girlies isnt this just totally amazing I actually had to pull the duvet over me last night I am so excited lol Pucca hope you are ok today will they do a c section for you if you go into labour earlier than next week? how is everyone else today? Ive got to clean out the toy cupboard and the toys that are all over the hall today so that dp can decorate hall for me how are you today Melsy and booby there werent many on here last night does that mean more babies??? its the 1st August today too This is it ladies the countdown is on join an orderly line now and then PUSH lol

Salamander · 01/08/2006 09:37

oooohhh Pucca
thinking of you!

Dreamy - it is actually 'nippy' this morning
How Lovely!

pucca · 01/08/2006 09:56

Ok i am still here, lol, still have mild niggily pains though and have had a little bit more of a show come away, the size of it last night i thought it had all come away (sorry tmi!)i definately think it has all come away now.

It is a bit strange and new for me to have a show first, as with my dd my waters broke theni had a show then contractions started soon after.

Who knows lol.

I will still have a section just will be an emergency one if i go into labour, the MW on labour ward said last night that she doubts i will make it to next Friday though > as i have had the strong pains and the show iykwim, she said its likely the pains have made me dilate slightly and that is why i have had a show.

Tbh i didn't think i would go to the end, as A) i have raised water B) he is a big baby anyway.

Will keep you all informed.

Salamander · 01/08/2006 10:00

Good Luck and hope everything goes swimmingly for you pucca

YellowFeathers · 01/08/2006 10:08

olivo · 01/08/2006 11:05

ooooh, good luck pucca! x

having another crappy day - been cleaning and washing and ironing for the last couple of hours but dh, who has a few days off, seems determined once again to upset me. i haven't felt the baby move yet today and am starting to panic but having told me to relax, which i'm trying to with a kitkat ( chunky, of course!) and a cuppa, he has wandered in and out, started sawing wood(?) in the lounge and generally pissing me off.grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
ooops - sorry, rant over!

has rained here today too, bliss to not be too hot and sweaty!!

hope everyone is well!

Salamander · 01/08/2006 12:33
