That's really good news, Shak. :-)

At which point do they determine your EDD in the States? Do you have a dating scan in the same time frame that we do?

lucyfluff · 14/01/2014 06:27

Great news on the scan shak Smile

Hungry you had an early start this morning Wink

mssleepyhead · 14/01/2014 07:37

I can't believe I can get 8 hours sleep* every night and still feel this exhausted. Pregnancy is impressive!!

*8 hours split by 3 toilet visits - anyone know if that eases up after 12 weeks?!

QueenOfGeeks · 14/01/2014 07:47

I know it gets worse at the end with the baby pressing down on your bladder but can't remember what it's like in the middle.

WeeJo08 · 14/01/2014 08:05

Hope everything goes well this morning, Feeling. You're probably almost at the hospital now!

BunnyBaby · 14/01/2014 08:08

FEE so sorry to hear this news, take your time and trust your instinct. I still miss my little one, but also acknowledge I was holding DC2 in my arms less than 12mths from my MMC. I am sure you've got lots of support too. Lots of love x

BunnyBaby · 14/01/2014 08:12

Shak - great news on scan.

I have booking in tomorrow, and still the odd smudges some days, and others nothing. My horrendous MS does give me comfort all well, nothing could be seen on early scan that should worry, and it is the tiniest amount.

I've been busy on the cranberry juice and probiotics in case I have any imbalances. Think I over did the juice yesterday and had to really dash to loo this morning, lol!

I'm just gagging luckily not sick, don't know how you other ladies keep going!

Builders starting on loft today, very suspicious cat looking unhappy already as we are moving things out of the way. Will be great to have 4 usable beds.

flymo79 · 14/01/2014 08:34

so sorry to read the sad news, Fee, I really hope you have a healthy pregnancy soon. thinking of you xxxx

Yes, good luck Fatty. :-)

Lucy, I have a 6 month old...I often see 5am ish! We did get another couple of hours' sleep after though!

WeeJo08 · 14/01/2014 09:15

Wow, it's so icy out there this morning! Not sure if it's cold where you all are but I was walking veeeerrry carefully as I was carrying DD into nursery! Brrrrrr!!

TMI but had another delightful bout of diarrhoea first thing this morning - yuck Confused Do I remember someone (Hungry maybe?) saying that diarrhoea can actually be caused by constipation? How is that? The reason I ask is because I don't seem to have a happy medium - I'm either completely stuffed up or the opposite!

CountdownBegins · 14/01/2014 09:22

Great news Shak and good luck Feeling!

Weej I go from constipated for two days and then diarohhea and back to constipation- not sure what causes it but it is some relief.. (TMI sorry)

Should we try and do another stats update to familiarise ourselves to eachother again? I havn't seen on since thred one... I only have my phone but could try and do it later on?

HungryHorace · 14/01/2014 09:26

It's something to do with some watery poo making it past the impacted poo, I think. Not nice, whatever!

2beornot · 14/01/2014 09:27

Morning!

weejo it's because you're so blocked up that only the really liquid stuff can get through.

I am so stuffed up (nasally!) at the moment - I ended up vomming up phlegm this morning. It was horrid. I can't wait for the warm weather. Plus I can't breathe properly!

After 10 hours the night before, I had to get up to see dd last night and then couldn't get back to sleep! So back to where I was!!

FriendofDorothy · 14/01/2014 09:43

I have gone back to taking one sachet of Fybogel every day. I find it keeps me regular.

Feelingfatty · 14/01/2014 09:53

Thanks guys

Had scan all okay :) Bean has grown now measuring 8+5 so bang on :) so looks good :) bring on 3 weeks so can have 12 weeks scan. Got midwife appointment for booking in this afternoon so hopefully get 12 week scan date then :)

HungryHorace · 14/01/2014 10:22

That's great, Fatty. Did they say where the bleed came from?

A day of pregnancy-related stuff. :-) Are you bothering with work?!

2beornot · 14/01/2014 10:40

Brilliant news, Fatty!

I forgot my other news too - first stretch mark has arrived. Bright red, just taunting me! Weird really coz I'm rather large so wouldn't have thought I'd need to stretch that much! Plus it's on my 'top tyre'.

Anyone else been invaded yet?

flymo79 · 14/01/2014 10:53

starting to get terrified, scan a week today. eek. sometimes have a little cramping but most other symptoms are going, other than a little sicky hunger and the odd palpitation (especially in the morning first thing when doing anything active like having a shower), a few headaches when sat at the computer all day... help. Anyone else getting the terror?

OP posts:
AntoinetteCosway · 14/01/2014 11:11

Oh yes, I have the fear and the disappearing symptoms too. Horrid.

Missvaughan85 · 14/01/2014 11:13

I'm so sorry to hear your news fee. I wish you all the best for the future.
Had a slight nose bleed yesterday. Strange. Never had one before. 2 weeks till scan and feeling nervous.

Ruggle · 14/01/2014 11:24

I've been wearing seabands on my wrists since yesterday and haven't been throwing up. Could be coincidence, but I'll keep them on just in case they are actually helping. They aren't the most comfortable things...but better than continuous vom!

HungryHorace · 14/01/2014 11:32

Yep, Flymo, I'm with you on the fear / disappearing symptoms front.

My sister and DH keep telling me it was like this last time. Shame I can't remember!

eeyore2911 · 14/01/2014 12:20

I've got the horrors too... Shock Got 12 week scan tomorrow and I'm so scared that something has happened to one or both of the babies!!! No reason for me to be so anxious and I'm really not a stressy person normally but I think cos it's something I care about so much!! Haven't even told OH how I feel as I know he'll be all 'it's fine, what on earth are you on about?!' Type of thing!! Breathe breathe!!! Roll on 1:20 tomorrow and then I'll know either way Envy

CountdownBegins · 14/01/2014 12:31

Eeyore- I'm sure everything will be fine- how exciting that you are so close to the 12 week scan!

Ruggle I've been wearing the Sea Bands since last Wednesday- I notice a difference in the level of neaseau but have still been sick unfortunately. My bands are like a big giveaway that I'm pregnant too- my friend asked me why I had sweatbands on and them gave me a knowing look!

flymo79 · 14/01/2014 12:53

ooh, so exciting eeyore! I know it's far easier to be excited for someone else than for yourself xxxx
